65 Connections

The moment of the teleportation all Sagar felt was that his body became weightless and then he was blinded by the light coming from the rune activating below him. When his vision was restored he could see that now they were standing at the location of the camp. The rune they were standing on wasn't as elaborate as the one that sent them here nor was it surrounded by a structure.

It seems that the rune was located in the center of the camp as several buildings were surrounding the area. From a glance Sagar thought that this camp was at least the size of Mountain Village but that was just a guess, if anything it could easily be bigger. Mountain Village only had a little over a hundred people so if the camp was the same size as the village Sagar couldn't see it accommodating everyone coming. Not every building here would be used as a place people would be able to stay in as they were used for other needs such as eating or storage and Sagar's group wasn't the only coming here there was even a group that came ahead them earlier. According to the sign-up sheets there was at least one more group that would be coming after them.

"Alright everyone get ready to move to places you're going to be staying at. The only assignment for them is based on whether or not you're male or female so make sure you go to your designated place. Remember that we'll start the training tomorrow as today will be used to make sure everyone is accommodated.", a tired voice spoke to all the students present. It was actually Mr. Stoor who wound up having to come because of Umbra. Sagar wasn't sure if the other staff decided to make him talk or he simply wanted everything to get wrapped up so he didn't have to bother with anything.

Mr. Stoor wasn't the only teacher here that Sagar was familiar with, as Instructor Ian also came along to this training camp, he just didn't come with this group as he arrived with the one preceding them. He was probably somewhere around here so Sagar would just look for him later, for now he picked up the stuff he had packed and made his way over to the living area with everyone else.

Umbra and Talia actually packed modestly this time around only bringing more essential things with them. Both of them were going to stay in the same place and similarly Sagar and Klaus were going to do the same. They eventually had to separate to go to their areas where they would put all their packed things away then they would meet up later. When Sagar and Klaus came to the building they would be staying at some other boys had already moved in but there were at least still some places for them to move into. All the beds in the building were bunk beds so Sagar and Klaus picked one out that was unoccupied with Klaus picking the top bunk while Sagar didn't really care which on he had.

The bunk beds were set in rows filling out each side of the building leaving a good walking area behind for others. They already had some blankets on them for sleeping along with a pillow, all anyone had to do was set it up and they would be good to go. Sagar could look around and see some of the other guys struggling to set up their beds as they had never done anything like it. These guys were all nobles with those who had poorer backgrounds having no trouble fixing their bed and helping those who asked for help. Sagar thought he would have to help Klaus but who knew that before he could ask Klaus was already finished.

Seeing his questioning look Klaus answered, "What? I may not have knew how to fix up a bed but you were generous enough to give me a demonstration so I just copied you."

Sometimes Sagar can forget that Klaus is actually quite intelligent but it mostly gets overshadowed by the battle maniac side of his. Sagar and Klaus placed all the stuff they had brought inside a big box that was located in the front of the bunk bed. Both of them didn't use up much room as they didn't pack much but Klaus had even less than Sagar did so their box was mostly empty for the most part.

For the most part they would be spending their training which was planned out by by the various staff that were located here. They were also given off time to do whatever they wanted whether that be just hanging out with their peers or going out into the plains to do their own thing. Of course if they wanted to leave the grounds of the camp they would have to follow the same procedures as they would at the academy.

Sagar and Klaus made their way out of the building going to where the giant rune for the teleported portal was located. They just figured that if the girls were to return anywhere it would be back here, it was also the center of the camp so they would be able to spot them if they were walking about.

After waiting around for ten minutes they finally saw the girls walking towards one of the buildings. As they approached them they in turn saw the two and waved their hands calling them over, "Hey, this is where we can get some food, come on!", Talia shouted at them.

When they walked into the building Sagar saw another familiar face there, that being the old man Gammel. For the longest time Sagar has been wary of the old man mainly because he would always look at him with a gaze as if he was trying to see all of Sagar's secrets. The old man himself never asked anything maybe because he himself was trying to figure out what Sagar was hiding.Anyway his food that he served was great and as long as the old man didn't take things too far Sagar wouldn't mind him doing whatever he wanted.

For the rest of the day the group hung out until the sun waned where they made their way back to their resting areas. As Sagar was fixing to lay down, he got called out by an unexpected source.

[User, there is something that must be known.]

This surprised Sagar as the system itself hardly ever tries to contact himself without him initiating, over the years that he's had it it's only done so once before and usually it's important when it does so. 'What is it exactly', he thought.

[There might be a leak coming from the Amala Network soon and it should happen near the User.]

'A leak? What do you mean by that?'

[A demon is going to access to this world, most likely with the intention of seeking the User out.]

This could be bad as the system didn't specify what demon would come through or did it mention it's power. If Sagar had the absolute worst luck in the world Lucifer himself could end up coming here and Sagar didn't know anyone who could possibly contend with such a titan. All he could do was ask the system to let him know when the demon comes through and hopefully he would be able to deal with it.

'Wait, how exactly is the Amala Network able to leak out demons here and why is it near me'

[User the Amala Network has always been connected you as the system itself is connected to the Amala Network]
