55 Break

A few weeks have passed since the incident with the golem with nothing of much interest happening since then. Sagar simply followed his schedule attending his classes, training and hanging out with his friends. The day after the fight with golem Klaus got word about what happened and while he was glad that we were safe he was disappointed that he wasn't able to fight with the golem itself.

He cheered himself up right away by convincing himself that he would get the chance to fight something stronger in the future. The other three didn't really know how to respond to him so they left him to his own devices.

Now comes one of the only times that students get a break during their time at the academy where they get two weeks off to do whatever they wanted to do. They could either spend their break in at the academy or return home to their families, of course those weren't the only options but the vast majority of the students chose the two mentioned options.

Sagar was chose to go back home as he not only wanted to spend time with his family but also ask his mother about his grandparents, hopefully she'll be more willing to tell him about it. Since he was going back Talia decided to accompany him but that wasn't too surprising instead what was surprising was that Umbra also wanted to come with them. Sagar would have asked her about going back to her own family but she herself didn't bring them up much so he figured she had her own reasons for not returning. Klaus on the other hand wasn't going to return home or stay at the academy instead he was going out on a long hunting trip with some of the people who worked for his family. Sagar knew Klaus could take of himself but still told him to be careful while he was out there.

Klaus waved off the three whenever the Drak automatic carriage arrived to take them back to Verreaux. The coach was actually the same person who took Talia and him to the academy so they were already somewhat familiar with each other. Sagar thought that either the coach was one of the more experienced drivers so he was assigned to them again or that the family felt like sending a familiar face. It didn't really matter as the coach himself was excellent so Sagar didn't have much to complain about him.

After taking off Sagar closed his eyes to give them a bit of rest as they were a bit heavy while the girls engaged in their own discussion about various topics. Sagar couldn't really hear what they were saying not only because of the fact that they were speaking in hushed voices but he himself was getting lost in his own thoughts.

This stems back to the dream in the void and the whole deal was with it. Out of worry he decided to consult the system as it knew more than himself but it didn't really have an answer either.

[While this system knows information to help the User to the best of the system's ability, what the User describes as the 'void dream' is not something we are familiar with. The only thing the system can tell you is that this dream is not affecting you in any negative way. If anything your power spikes while you are within the so called dream only returning to normal levels when you wake.]

Sagar was thankful for the answer but besides founding out that it was beneficial to him there was nothing else to go off of. What exactly were those figures and why did they have such a contrast to each other. Sagar thought hard about it but couldn't come to a definite answer and decided to put it off for now. He almost felt like he was doing that to too many things he had on the top of his mind but thinking hard about it wasn't going to help too much.

The journey only lasted a day so they didn't run into any trouble while traveling back to Verreaux but this also could be attributed to the fact that many others were returning to the capital with several guards protecting whoever they're bringing back from harm. Sagar was thankful for that as it saved them from dealing with any sort of trouble coming back but then another problem occurred in it's stead. That being because of the amount of people coming back to Verreaux it made the lines waiting outside the capital even longer. Normally long lines weren't a problem as the guards were able to process people fast but with the normal amount of people trying to enter the city and the students it made the line unnecessarily longer.

Eventually the Drak carriage was able to make it's way through the line making it's way into the city. With all the students returning it was even more crowded on the streets than usual, there were even more merchants about trying to sell their products to the returning students. None of the stuff being sold really interested Sagar but some of them did interest the two girls but he managed to convince them to wait until another day when he would take them out to see whatever they wanted.

The two girls had their own coins that they earned but so did Sagar with him going out hunting almost as much as Klaus. If anything he had more experience than Klaus on this front so even though he didn't go out as much as Klaus his returns were much more. Sagar had promised to take Umbra and Talia out whenever they got to Verreaux and he intended to keep but just not at this moment.

With all the traffic it took longer to reach the Drak residence than it did when Sagar first arrived in Verreaux taking a full thirty minutes to get there. When the carriage pulled into the gates and into where all the other carriages were parked Sagar caught a glimpse of his family waiting for him. Waiting with them was Talia's parents, Richard and Delia Drak. It seemed that Sagar was correct in assumptions to think that his father would be back by the time he had a break as he was standing with his mother, who was currently holding onto Aquilia. Aquilia had certainly grown since the last time he had seen her and she should be two now, unfortunately Sagar wasn't able to come back for her birthday but that didn't mean he didn't have a late gift for her.

It was great to see them once again, especially his father as he had not seen him in almost a year and they had a lot of catching up to do. The three got out of the carriage and made their way over to the waiting group.
