Chapter 1- Once upon a time

"Now Lev, Be careful in the woods you heard your father- there are wolves!" His mother bellowed while tucking his shirt in. "Yes mother. . But why do the wolves need to be our rival?" he asked. her mom stiffened as she stood up.

"Oh, Lev, Ofcourse they're our rivals they hunt down humans! and we can't let you out there dying right? Now go! and say hi for me and your sister." she said and he set off in a temper. Why do wolves hunt them down? why do people need to hunt them down and kill them? He asked himself then laughed.

"Its life, Mom says. . This is stupid," he said then kicked a rock out of the way. he stopped. what was it? there was something sticking out from behind the tree "Hey?" he whispered softly then to his surprise the thing flinched it stumbled in front of him and then it struggled up and ran.

"Hey wait!" he ran. "Wait-- AH!" He shouted then suddenly fell. "Oh no, HELP!" he shouted. the woods were the place that contains dangerous wolves, now he was stuck in one trap set up by a hunter.

"Hey!" then out of nowhere a hand had appeared in front of him, But it wasn't a normal one, it had claws. . He slowly reached for it and it reached back. "thank you. ." he said then saw, what had helped him. He gave a loud shriek and fell back but luckily the boy had grabbed him and pulled him to the ground.

"Calm down- i don't want any hunters close. . . Hey are you okay?"

"Y-Your a-a- - WOLF!"

"I know sherlock! now keep- it - down!" he said then flicked his wrist. "What's that?" he asked his voice now sounding hungry.

"food for my grandma. .You want some?" he asked and reached out a sandwich "I have plenty of more though so it's okay." He said then gave it to him.

"Thanks." he said then ate. "Whats your name? Mines Lev." He said then the wolves ears shot up. "Name?" he kept quiet for a few minutes. "I don't have one. ."

"Oh. . . Then i'll name you! . . How about. . Fuyu?" he said then the wolf nodded

"good enough." He said then smiled, Lev smiled back then looked up. He realized it was almost dawn so he stood up.

"Sorry fuyu- But i must go now! Oh how mother will get so angry with me!" He said then hurried off to his grandmother's house.

"Grandmother! open the door it's me Lev!" the door opened "Oh thank goodness, come in, come in." She said then sat him down took the food and took his hood. "Granny-" Lev called her grandmother smiled softly with delight. "Yes honey?"

" . . Why are wolves our rival?" he asked, His grandmother's smile faded and she looked serious now. She took a piece of the sandwich and bit it.

"Wolves. . . Wolves yes of course you'll ask. . . Wolves are dangerous creatures, every full moon they turn into monsters, oh how one slashed the life out of one logger years ago. Wolves used to kill humans years ago, they almost killed most of the people in our village today! Luckily we have hunters to hunt them down and kill them, but some- oh some are sweet as sugar," she paused and took a bite of her sandwich- "Have you ever heard of the Gregoria's the family?" she asked.

"No, granny, never heard of them before."

His grandmother stiffened and forced out a smile "How childish of them to think . . . They were the first family to ever adopt one of the child wolves half-human one- and then the wolf grew and at the age of 12 the wolf killed all of the family members including the newborn baby. he was jealous of the baby getting all the attention in my point of view. . You see Lev, Wolves throw tantrums every now and then once they grow older.. That's enough I told you all I know." she said then took another bite in her sandwich.

"Wow. . ." He said that wasn't as planned, his grandmother told him much more than he was hoping. . "Granny." he called once again.

"Yes?"

"What happens if one decided to marry one?" He asked. He then thought of Fuyu, and how he would throw a tantrum. "MARRY ONE? Oh LEV! how your talking rubbish! No one thinks of ever marrying one! Thats enough, go to bed it's getting late upstairs now!"

"But granny--" -she cut him off- "No more Lev please do not make it hard for me to take care of you!"
