3 Boy meets Girl

There are several factors to invoke a certain emotion. As for our unlikely character, both fear and uncertainty.

All came from one source: a pair of glowing crimson looked down at him, staring right through his own eyes. He analyzed the face of the eyes belonged to and it was from a girl's. Despite the shadow that covered most of her face, her golden hair was the most prominent.

He gulped a big one, never even tried to move an inch.

He was…too afraid to do so.

Their eyes would lock to each other for a good minute until the tension broke when the girl spoke.

"Xxxx…xxxx xxxx xxxx xxx?" She in an unknown language.

Baffled, the young lad would only stay silent. Well there's nothing good to say after hearing that, he couldn't even make do of what she said.

The girl blinked, slowing getting the gist of the situation. So she cleared her throat and gave it another try.

"Xxxx xxx? xxxx xxxx?, xxxx xxx, how about this? Xxxx xxx? Xxxx-"

"Ah-" He reacted upon finally hearing something he understood.

The girl's eyes widened in surprise, obviously not expecting the outcome of that test she did.

"English huh…? Tell me, who are you?" She promptly asked. "Can you remember anything?"

"Who…" He stuttered for before giving out a proper reply. "I don't know about that. My head is kind of fuzzy for some reason, I can't remember a thing(?) nor what I was doing before…"

"Is that so? Then what about your name? Can you remember your name?"

"Of course I do, it's…Wait a second, what's my name again? Wait hold on, wait wait wait…" The lad finally sat up, with his hand on the side of his head he tries to remember.

There's something, a word. It sounded right and he's somehow positive of it. Trying his best to make of the word that's slowly emerging from the back of his head he groans in pain.

"Woah now, take it easy. Don't force it own. It hurst doesn't it? Calm down, your name will come around eventually. Took me around half an hour to remember mine though…" She tried to reassure the troubled lad.

The lad looked at her with a curious face and asked a question.

"Are you saying that you didn't remember your name as well? Who are you?"

The girl stood up, showing off more of her features to the lad before her. Her skin was fair comparable to porcelain, a slender yet study figure clad in a black coat with magenta flames coming up from the sleeves and around the ends. She is undeniably beautiful to boot, its like a doll came to life.

"I didn't introduce myself huh? My name is Cloudia, if that name is even right. Like you, I woke up in this beach beside you with no idea who I am and how I got here with you."

"Beach?" The lad would suddenly feel the cold sea water touching his feet. He was so focused on Cloudia he didn't pay any attention to his surroundings.

But Cloudia is telling the truth, there they are. In an unfamiliar beach, but there was something else about it. The seas he knows of is blue, yet before him was a sea dyed entirely what he can assume is blood. Stretching as far as the eye can see. Not to mention the smell, other than his name, he remembers a couple of things. That includes the smell of the sea he's quite familiar with. But this one, it was stronger than from what he could remember.

He glanced back at Cloudia yet again, confused at the sight he just saw. "What's-"

"What's going on? Why is the ocean like that? Don't fret, I asked that myself when I woke up. It doesn't make sense doesn't it?" Cloudia cuts in.

"If that's the case then I ask you this…regarding our situation here, I can trust you, right?" He cautiously asked.

"It would be the case, so its only proper that I should place my trust on you, right? I know we shouldn't trust complete strangers however…I think I know you. No, I definitely know you. I can't say how but I am certain of my statement." Cloudia replies, placing her hand over her nonexistent chest as she spoke.

As for the lad, oddly enough there's this familiar feeling around her her. Like to that of an old friend you've known for a long, long time. Truly it was really bizzare, but he's going to trust this feeling.

"I get what you're saying, Cloudia was it? I..I know you. Yeah…I can trust you."

Hearing this made Cloudia smile for a bit. Other than her eyes, she seemed like an average girl everyone would fall for.

"Oh before that, here. It ain't much but it'll cover you up." With that said, she tossed him a large gray cloth she found conveniently lying around the beach.

The lad examined himself and yes, all this time, throughout their conversation, he was naked all over. And without a second thought he immediately covered himself around that cloth he received. Hiding his embarrassed face under the folds, he looked away from Cloudia's gaze.

This very notion made Cloudia grin mischievously. So she walked over to his side and dug out his hand from the cloth and forced him stand up.

"Don't be ashamed of me now! Well, I did ogle all over your body when you were sleeping- Ah! Wanna see mine to make it even!?"

"Absolutely not! Even if that sounds extremely tempting, there are other things on my mind rather than seeing your naked body…"

"Awww~, that's a shame really. But oh well, like you said, there are other matters we should focus on. And that starts by getting out of this beach. Come now, lets look around for anything!"

"I get it, lead the way." He chuckled in amusement. Still, there's something weird with his body, not because he's worried Cloudia might've done something to him in his sleep but, something about his body is off.

Everything feels out of balance, its even difficult to maintain his own sense of balance without tipping off to the sides. How can he describe it? It's as if he's standing for the first time in his entire life, but he knows he can stand up alright. Its only common sense to know so.

Now that he's thinking about it, everything up to him waking up didn't make any sense. Yet this feeling tells him otherwise. Only sighing the thought away, he took a step forward.

…Only for him to completely fall over and hit his head on a small rock on the sandy ground.

Cloudia of course, heard his head hit something. So she rushed over, worried as she helped the poor lad sit up straight.

"Lord, what are you doing? Oh man, you're bleeding…"

The sharp, stinging pain he's currently feeling is somehow, reeling that word that's been at the back of his head. Surely enough he can see it clearly, he remembered.

"Ka…Ka?"

"…Ka?"

"My name, I think I remember it now." He groans and spoke clearly. "Kamille, I'm sure of it. That's my name."
