19 Time Takes Patience

You know those days that you wish would just end?

Or the ones that seems to pass in the blink of an eye?

That you know what you want to say but can't seem to be able to?

Ever feel like it's easier to live in someone else's shoes,

Easier to live another's life,

Instead of having to live your own?

You know those thoughts you never thought you'd have?

That make you nervous and happier than anything

All at the same time?

Like a magic spell was cast upon you,

And you can't seem to break free?

That they're stringing you along

And drop you whenever they find someone new?

The agony that is heartbreak?

It's the worst the first time,

But as life goes on, you grow numb to it,

And you realize that maybe your just not worth it.

That maybe you just don't belong anymore.

But you never forget, that first pain, that first heartbreak

Because it's everything you are,

Or so you think.

You remember that time when it seemed your life suddenly lit up?

Like a light was flicked on and everything was clearer?

Do you remember who it was you saw?

The one person that appeared to be completely ordinary,

But was able to change your life forever?

The one person that broke through the dark and brought the sun with them?

That let the warmth back it and started to mend your broken heart.

That saw through the fakes and believed they could put you back together again.

Thought they knew how to help,

But you push them away

Because why would you want to hurt the only one able to help?

The only one who knows, who listens, who cares?

Why would you want anything but the best for them?

Even when you know you're not part of it?

Even when you know it may just kill you to let them go...
