1 Chapter 1 Meeting Gabriel

(DISCLAIMER: Chapter 2-Chapter 10 will be short chapters as their content is mainly introductory, Chapter 11 is where the story begins but i do recommend to read Chapters 2-10 so that you readers know the mc's current stats, abilities, skills, and itens)

Location: Apartment Building

Time: 12:00 Midnight

*A man sits near on the edge at the top of a tall building apartment, staring at the city full of lights and cars driving on the roads*

"I guess it's finally time" said the man as he sighs "I have lost everything. My family…dead, My wife….with another man, My job….fired due to being framed by that a**hole Jacob, i don't even have any money to sustain my daily living, i basically have nothing now!!"

*The man smiles in despair, he looked back from his memories, all the things he did, all the good time….the bad times…..all of his experiences that led to this final moment*

"Nothing matters in the world anymore for me" said the man "all I can do now is jump, hoping for a new journey in the afterlife"

*The man stood up and looks down at the ground once more for a few seconds, he sighs for the last time before closing his eyes and jumping off the building*

"For a new life away from this cruel world" said the man as he smiles one last time before hitting the ground and turning into mushed flesh...

*In a dark void with a transparent floor, a man suddenly wakes up*

"AHHHHHHH" says the man while panting and breathing heavily

*The man looks around to see darkness….only darkness*

"Where am I?, *pants* weren't I supposed to be mashed to the ground by now?, *pants* is this…the afterlife?"

*Suddenly he hears a voice behind him*

???: You have awoken mortal

*The man turns around to see a levitating figure with no face or clothes…only white in its right half and black in its left half and its body was glowing a gray light,m

"Who the hell are you?" asked the man "are you….god"

"I am the great protector of this multiverse, You may call me Gabriel" said Gabriel

"What am I doing here Gabriel?, I'm supposed to be dead" said the man

"That is correct mortal, in fact your already dead" said Gabriel "but I am willing to give you a second chance"

"Why?" asked the man

"A great calamity will soon come to this multiverse, a calamity I have a great chance

of dying to with this multiverse" said Gabriel

"The calamity is already starting, and you will be will be my proxy in order to stop this calamity"

"And why did you choose me?" asked the man

"Out of the countless souls in the multiversal web you are one of the few who are pure, who did nothing but good deeds until your end even when facing depression your determination to do good deeds stands unfaltered" said Gabriel "yes there have been many saints and people who are the same as you in the multiverse but my instincts tells me that perhaps you are the most suitable of them all"

"Perhaps it was fate or maybe not" said Gabriel "but who knows, if you have a feeling , follow it and that's what I did so it doesn't really matter"

"So….how do I destroy this calamity that you speak of" asked the man

"I will send you to another world, the world where the calamity is starting" said Gabriel "A mysterious and powerful force invaded this multiverse and is starting to spread his influence to dominate and conquer this multiverse, his plan is to spread anomalous energy across this multiverse's prime world in order to create rifts for his minions to cross and to conquer this multiverse"

"Those minions will lay waste to the population of that world and once all of the population are dead and the world is conquered by them…"said Gabriel "The mysterious force will fully manifest and come to this multiverse and destroy it"

"But how do I do that? I'm just a human' I'm nothing special, in comparing me against the multiverse I'm a mere atom…..NO!! A quark!!!" said the man

"That is true mortal, but before sending you to that world, I will grant you a unique power" said Gabriel "there's only one of these in the entire multiverse"

"The power of the system" said Gabriel

"The system?, Like the ones in the novel?" asked the man

"…..should be" said Gabriel "It is called the Anomaly Containment System, it's already self explanatory with the name alone, but it's is for you to find out"

*Gabriel's body turns bright and it's light gathers into his left hand forming a sphere, after a few seconds his body stops lighting up*

"This in my hand is the system sphere, An existence made by me using half of my soul and the will of the multiverse" said Gabriel "This will be your advantage against the calamity"

*Gabriel throws the system sphere at the man and was absorbed in the man's body and bound to the man's soul*

"So….when will you send me to the other world?" asked the man

"Not right now but I will send you to another place, The trial space" said Gabriel "after your experience in the trial space you will then be sent to the other world"

"I see…send me there now then" said the man "I will do my best to not disappoint you"

"Hahaha…boy…do your best not to disappoint the multiverse not me for I am merely the protector while you are our hope"said Gabriel before flicking the man's forehead and sending him off the trial space
