101 The 'Hook'.

Leo was standing there while looking at the holographic screen in front of him with a blank face. He felt that this way of asking was playing on his nerves before he said "No, I don't know. "....." Taking a deep breath, Leo didn't want to ask what that 'Yes' was about before receiving another message.

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): You need to understand that this is the usual way for us, the higher beings, to express ourselves]

"I feel this is just some sort of flexing of your knowledge" Leo said with a tired tone because he can imagine the answer. It'll be another yes.

"....." Exactly on the point! Leo didn't know if he should sigh or celebrate his prediction skills. He has a feeling that Shiki has been corrupted by her fusion with the world's will.

"Disasters?" Leo felt like he's listening to a history and geographic lesson about the multiverse.

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): If we count ourselves, as planets, and the Outer Gods as aliens creatures, then the multiverse spaces are like big spaceships]

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): These spaceships gather a lot of passengers across the multiverse. And of course, you can't just ride the ship for free, they have to work to stay on board. Honestly, there's a lot about this subject, so let move towards the way they allow their passengers to 'land' on the worlds]

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will):... No. They are like spaceships using higher technologies to make a passage between itself and the world to drain it powers]

"Like pirates running across the grappling hooks when the other ship is close enough?" Leo squinted his eyes while looking at Root's description of the 'Hook'.

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): No, it's a spaceship!]

"You, the worlds, are some sort of islands, the multiverse spaces are pirates and their ships, and the Outer Gods are some sort of a Kraken" Leo didn't care as he said those words that made Root, who was in the Akashic, twitch her eyebrow.

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): Why are you persistent about this pirates theme!!??]

"Why are you persistent about the sci-fi theme?!" Leo replayed with the same type of question, which made Root's eyebrow twitch even further.

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): The sci-fi theme is clearly better to describe this!!]

"Deal with it, even if I like mecha too, this is clearly Pirate of Caribbean Multiverse Edition" Leo clapped his hands like he achieved something.

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): No, it's not! And I didn't know you like mecha]

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): The 'Hook' will lose it energy after some time if the players can't bring a lot of it, but after what they did, it'll keep working for a while]

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): the other way to stop it, is to make it take action against the world and expose itself completely, which allows me to 'Cut' it to pieces]

Leo didn't know why, but he really got a shiver while reading that 'Cut' word, like this world's will is really angry.

"So, I guess you can handle it just fine. I already had enough from this mission" Leo shrugged his shoulders as it seems like Root can take care of this because it's an optional objective.

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): Of course, I can. But you'll have to kill the next waves of players coming to this world until it's done]

Leo, who was stretching his arms, stopped in his place before he said " I've to… What?!"

[ROOT(Developer/Type-Moon world will): The passage is still open until the 'Hook' is gone, so you'll have to continue this until the 'Hook' run out of energy, which will probably take few years if it kept sending players]

"....." Leo didn't dare to ask about how many years because these world's wills sense of time are different from him. That 'few' could mean 10,000 years or even more.

The arriver was an old man with a small beard. He was wearing an old black magician robe, which seemed more unique than the other magi.

He was holding a stick in his hand as he supported himself with it like any other old man, but this one had red glowing eyes that made everyone forget about his age.

"Would you mind if I invite you to have a talk?" the wizard marshall, Zelretch, smiled while looking at Alex behind Enkidu.

The 2nd True magic user and one of the twenty-seven Dead Apostle Ancestors appeared in front of Alex, which made him want to curse everything at this moment.
