Blaireville's Finest Goth

"Hello, blaireville! It's your favorite DJ, Idol George! Wishing you a fantastic afternoon!

Greetings to…"

Sorry, Idol George, your voice may be buttery smooth, but I'm looking for a fitting melody while I apply my make-up.

Shutting down the FM radio that doubles as a CD player, I open the tray on top and put my Escape the Fate album.

The song 'Not Good Enough for the Truth in Cliche' blasted the entire room as I lightly brushed black eyeshadow on my lids.

From the mirror, I can see my childhood friend Amanda casually chilling on my bed as she texted her boyfriend. Curly blonde hair with glasses and a lithe body. Amanda may be nerdy but she's a total beauty.

We met during the 1st grade, we have been inseparable ever since. Hell, it's not going to surprise me if some fortune teller told us we were twins during our past life. Now that we're both in our senior year, the only thing that's going to split us apart would be college.

It's not like there's anything wrong with this small town, I just don't want to live and die in blaireville, I have dreams of going into the city while Amanda's content being out here in the sticks.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to Nathan's party, Amanda?" I asked while I moved on to my other eyelid.

"Unlike you, I wasn't popular enough to get an invite. How about we just stay here and have another movie night? That's a better way of spending a sunday evening." Wearing short shorts and a comfy shirt, Amanda answered while glued to the screen of her Nokia 6300.

It's not like I'm a social butterfly or anything, but you'd be surprised at how few can rock an all black outfit like I can out here in blaireville. Hence, the reason for my popularity at school. Having a wicked motorcycle helps too.

"What, we just watched two horror movies last night and you still want to watch more?"

"Oh, wow, a goth is complaining about watching horror films."

"Shut up, you nerd. I already told Linda and Jane that I will go with them."

"Fine, I'm just going to hang out with Jared."

"Go do that, I'm sure your boyfriend is jealous of you spending time with your best friend."

Ending my make up with the deep dark lipstick, I popped my lips as I'm satisfied with my look.

Pale white face because of the foundation with a stunning black eyeshadows, finishing the goth look with my black lipstick. My shoulder length dark hair was trimmed into blunt bangs.

Putting on my skinny jeans, and crop top shirt paired with another cropped leather jacket exposing my sexy midriff. I'm going to let you guess the color of my clothes.

For my accessory, I wore my choker with a reverse pentagram in the middle that my clothes dealer gave to me as a freebie since I was a valued customer and all that jazz, said it was something that would prevent me from dying. Despite his baloney, I took it because it looked sick.

I smile at my reflection in the mirror. Fuck yeah, I look good.

Turning around at Amanda, I gestured my hands outwards and asked, "So, do I look pretty?"

"You always do, even before you went all goth on me back in our sophomore year."

"Aw, thanks." I gave my friend a cheek to cheek before heading out. "Oh, by the way, you can have dinner here if you want before heading out, feel free to help yourself with anything at the fridge."

With that, I close the door to my room and navigate our large but empty house. With my parents both busy at work, inviting my friend to spend the night was what prevented me from dying of loneliness for all these years. I even gave Amanda a spare key to our house while I have one of theirs. Like I said, inseparable.

Putting my helmet on, I used a small remote to open our garage door and rode my slick Honda CBR. Holding the clutch on my left, the bad boy gave a suave roar as I throttled my right.

Time to head out into the party.

Slowly letting go of my clutch to half, I stepped and took the gear to 1st, throttling out of my garage, speeding into the sunset.

The stench of weed inside of Alex's room was enough to get anyone high. While all their guests were already drinking and partying outside, the four stars of the football team were all gathered, the red cups in their hands filled with beer. All four were wearing their blue varsity jackets labeled 'Richmond'. The 4 jocks were priming themselves before heading out and mingle with their guests.

"I'm telling you, this molly is the shit! Don't be such a pussy, try it Marcus!" Greg, the auburn haired dude slammed the bag of ecstasy on the table. "Maybe if you take one you'll finally have the courage to bag that goth bitch."

"Fuck you Greg, and fuck that Anna!" Marcus, his hair shaven black, glared at his friend.

Greg chuckled, "Whoah, whoah, whoah, why are you so hostile, buddy?"

The blonde Alex, had an inkling as to why his friend was upset.

"Anna rejected Marcus just the other day." Alex said.

The brunette owner of the mansion, Nathan's brows became knit both due to anger and confusion. It was a concept he found hard to wrap his mind around. This Anna is crazy rejecting a stud like them, Nathan asked, "Why? Is she out of her mind? We're all rich and handsome, what more could this bitch want? Maybe she's a dyke, it makes sense because she's always hanging around that nerd friend of hers."

"Well, that won't do. We need to get back at her for breaking our boy's heart." Greg suggested as he took a drink from his cup.

"And what should we do about it?" Wondered Marcus.

Greg's lips twisted into a sinister smile, "The same thing we did with Linda."

"What's wrong, Linda, you don't look too thrilled to be here?" I asked because Linda didn't seem unnerved, her face was someone wishing they weren't at this party right now. She was paler than usual, amiss with her hazel brown skin tone. A shame because she looked gorgeous with that pink shirt and skirt.

Surrounded by other teens from the same high school, we sat at a table near the pool. Just your typical rowdy party scene.

"If you're not feeling good, Linda, we can go home." Jane, the ebony skinned wearing jeans and a sweater, held Linda's back, offering support.

"Oh no, Linda's feeling wonderful. I bet she's just too excited to be here, aren't you, Babe?" Greg suddenly appeared, putting both her hands on Linda's shoulders.

"Y-yeah." Linda suspiciously answered.

"See! By the way, Nathan had a special game room down by the basement, darts, pool, foosball. It's off limits for party guests but we'll make an exception to the three of you. What do you say, care to accompany us, ladies?" Nathan winked.

"Oooh, I don't know about that." Jane shook her head.

"I think we'd just rather stay here, thanks for the offer, Greg." Although I was tempted to brush up on pool, it's been a while since I last played, but the idea of going down into the basement of an acquaintance seemed…wrong.

Greg moved her hand into a massage, "Come on, Linda, help me out here."

"I-I think we should go, I've been in there a-and it's a nice room!"

"See!? Even your friend wants to come! What's the harm in playing a few games? You came here to party and enjoy the night, didn't you?"

Jane and I shared a look. Since Linda was intent on going down there, it was only natural we accompany her to keep her safe. It's pretty fucking weird that Linda was supposed to break up with him and then doing a total 180. It's like he's got this hold on her.

"All right, Greg, one quick peek and we're out."

"It's like a mini-bar down here!"

With the array of games, bar table, and a jukebox, I can't help but be impressed. Gotta hand it to Nathan, we might be rich, but their family is filthy.

"Hey, Marcus." I nodded at him while I passed him by at the bar table.

What the fuck, the asshole ignored me! That's what I get for being friendly! Was he that salty I rejected him? Does he think because he's a varsity player I'm going to immediately throw my panties at him? Fuck you, Marcus! Looks like I made the right decision in the end.

"Alright, ladies, drinks are on this table over here!" Greg pointed to a small table filled with red cups. "Drink up so we can start a few games, like you said, it's only a quick peek, right?"

That's part of the reason why we came to this party anyway, Jane and I took a cup.

"Sup, Annalise. Word is, you're good at pool, is that true?" Nathan offered me a cue, he had all 15 balls organized on the table.

"Damn right, it is." I smirked, grabbing the cue and drank the entire cup so I could wipe the floor with this rich kid thinking that knowing how to play would be enough to beat me.

A few moments later…

Alright, 5 solid balls pocketed and a clear shot of the 8th ball to boot. It's been a month since I last visited Isidor's bar but I still got it!

Bending to my victory, my winning shot was interrupted by a sudden jolt of nausea. It felt as if everything was falling apart.

I hear a thud.

What was that?

I turned around to see Jane already on the ground!

Did these motherfuckers just drug me? They are dead! I'm going to fucking kill every last one of…

"Take Jane home." Greg ordered Linda.

"What are you going to do to Anna!?" It was as if Linda was going to stand up for her friend with her defiant tone….

"Do you want me to spread your naked pictures? I will not repeat myself, Linda, Take. Jane. Home."

…only back down like a frightened animal due to Greg's threat. Linda cried as she carried Jane upstairs.

Marcus yanked the dazed Anna by the arm, " I bet you wished you didn't reject me now, huh, cunt!?"

"Alright, Marcus! Since you had your eye on her first, then why don't you do the honors and go first?"

Marcus dragged the defenseless Anna into the pool table…

The same with Linda, they were sure Anna wasn't going to tell anyone unless she wanted her naked pictures plastered all over school. A disgrace that she won't be able to erase, something that will ruin her reputation as the school's popular goth girl.

The monsters violated the drugged Anna one after another. A heinous act that they reveled in. Who would believe that the studious varsity players would resort to drugging? And if the victims did indeed have the courage they think themselves smart enough to not involve themselves in the pictures.

After the boys had their 'fun.' They left Anna in the pool table still naked with the polaroid photos right next to her as a threat with a note on top saying 'Tell anyone and we will spread these.'

The next morning, Nathan was worried. Anna still hasn't come out of his game room.

As the three jocks were having breakfast, Nathan stormed in the kitchen, panicking profusely.

"GUYS, I THINK ANNA IS DEAD!"

+++

Deep in a forest right outside the town, shades of sunlight beamed through the tall trees like spotlights for the wicked.

The four varsity jocks had shovels in their hands, digging as deep as they could to prevent the smell of death and decay.

"Oh, fuck, we're screwed! If they interview the guests they'll know it was us!" Marcus was on the verge of tears, his dreams of playing college football was on the cusp of being shattered.

"Don't you think I know that!? We might not even get to play our finals game next week because of this stupid bitch!" Greg admitted, hard at work to shove dirt. "Just deny everything the cops ask, we'll say Anna rode off with her bike by midnight, I'll take care of Linda and Jane. Nathan, we need to get that bike of hers to another town and scrapped, asap."

"Gotcha." Nathan answered calmly.

"Why are you so calm about all this?" Alex was dumbfounded, they just murdered another person! He should be as rattled as the rest of them!

Nathan snorted, "Let's just say, I have pretty good lawyers."

A few moments later, the jocks climbed out of the pit, Marcus grabbed Annalise's corpse from her trunk and tossed it into the pit.

Burying them in dirt as if burying their sin, their malicious deed would forever be buried beneath the soil.

Finishing the daylight burial, Greg patted the soil, spitting on the hidden grave of the bitch that dared ruin their future.

Four cars sped, leaving their sin behind.

A sin that would bloom into a hand 3 days later, emerging out of the dirt.
