23 Soul Mark - 2

"What do you mean?" Said Lucian, eyeing her suspiciously.

She shook her head and stood up and walk towards him. Lucian also moved a little to face her. As she came near, she bend a little and lift Lucian's head. She then rose her hand and put her index finger between his forehead.

She closed her eyes and murmured something under her breath. The point where she has put her finger started to glow. After sometime the glow disappeared as she took her hand back.

Then she rose and stood up straight. Lucian's eyebrows were also creased.

"What was that hhuh? Trying to put some seducing spell on me?" Said Lucian half jokingly.

She glared at him on his words.

" I'm not sure but, Remember I told you once about the soul marks on your body? It looks like that mark is activated now." She spoke as she sat on her seat again.

"And I have told you that it's bullshit." Replied Lucian.

" I'm not joking Lucian. That energy I felt before is stronger now. I can also notice some changes in your aura. May be you won't believe me but sometimes things exist and happen that we don't believe. " Said the girl.

"So care to tell me how did I receive this 'mark' on me without my knowledge." Asked Lucian.

" I'm not sure about that, there are many things about you that we can't understand. And you can agree on that right??" said the girl as she put some food in her mouth.

"That person has to be very close to you, to left so powerful impression on you. Most probably a lover?"

At her words Lucian narrowed his eyes and girl chuckled.

" Try to remember, maybe it will help to find your lost memories. This can be opening that you are trying hard to find." She said.

At her words Lucian's eyes became dark. He pondered for a while and then opened his lips to speak.

"Can you tell who's this person who left this mark?" Asked Lucian

"Not right now, but I can surly spare some time to find" Said the girl lazily.

"Fine then help me find this and I will consider the deal you proposed" Said Lucian in his authoritative voice and stood up.

"I'll contact you later, till then good bye." With that Lucian left the hotel room.

Behind him the girl sat there smirking and her eyes narrowed as she lifted the wine glass from the table and took a sip.

soon her brown eyes turn In to green strips same as reptiles, and her toung came out which has split at the end.

Soon the night fell and Anna woke up due to hunger. She opened her eyes groggily and glance at the clock that was indicating time 7:14 PM.

She washed her face and came downstairs for dinner, her stomach was grumbling loudly due to hunger.

As she came downstairs she saw maids preparing the table. She looked around and found Lucian walking towards dining table, with Faron on his toes. He was instructing him about something, as he came closer his eyes fell on the Anna.

Anna silently cursed her luck.

He stared at her for sometime and then took a seat while moving his hand indicating her to sit too. Anna took her usual sit and maids started serving food. Anna kept her eyes on her plate not daring to look at him. She was still embarrassed at the way she behaved earlier.

But the same didn't apply for Lucian as he keep staring at her during all the time, and Anna was aware about that.

Before she came down she was secretly hoping not to meet him, but her time was running out of luck. They both ate their lunch in silence, no one said anything, both engrossed in their own thoughts.

Soon Anna finished he dinner, as she wanted to go and hide in her room; away from his piercing gaze. But as she was about to stand up Lucian spoke and stop her in her track.

"There is a business party, and I want you to accompany me there as my plus one." He said in his authoritative voice. It was more like an order.

Anna was dumbfounded at his words. She tried so hard to avoid him and this is what happened at the end.

'In the party? As his plus one? Why God? Why you are doing this to me?' Anna cried internally.

"I can't come with you." Stammered Anna.

" Why can't you come with me? As long as I know you apart from wandering here and there you aren't busy with anything." He said sarcastically. Anna glared at him.

"Yes, I am.."

" And I'm not asking you. As you are living in my home and eating my food, consider this as returning the favor." Before Anna could say anything anymore Lucian said his piece and left the room.

Anna just stood there with an angry face.

' This is too much, no one has never forced me to do something. I'll make sure to give you a better experience in party huh. Just wait and watch you demon.' She stomped her feet and left in furry..
