5 Playing tricks

Next day in the morning the phone rang in Jeremy's House. His condo was located near the Smith enterprise's main office.

He was living in the most luxurious condominium building under the Smith enterprise. Smith enterprise was a multinational conglomerate, spread across the world. Each year they create immense wealth, as the sole heir of the company, Lucian Smith was a very powerful man. Who enjoys his life fully? But that wasn't all to his identity. All of this was merely a façade to hide their real identities.

Jeremy's eyes flutter open. He glanced outside of the window. It was the time of dawn. He picked up the phone. It was from Mr. bran. " Hello, Mr. Bran."

"Sir, we found Miss Hannah… " the man on the other hand informed him about the situation from last night about the girl gone missing.

As soon as the other party started to speak, the expressions on Jeremy's face started to become complicated. It was exactly opposite of what he had expected.

After the call ended he hurried out of the bed to the bathroom to wash up. After about forty-five minutes he drove from his building to Smith enterprise.

The ride wasn't long. After about half an hour he reached the office. It was still very early, so there were no employees in the office. Apart from some cleaning and security staff the whole building was empty.

He entered the lift and pressed the button for the top floor. The whole top floor was reserved for Lucian. Apart from Jeremy and some selected employees no one can enter here without permission.

He entered his fingerprint to open the door and enter. As expected his boss was sleeping in the bedroom. Jerry gently knocked on the bedroom. After some time the door opened. Lucian was wearing black robe. His hair was messy and face was sleepy.

"Good morning sir" greet Jerome.

" Drop the title Jerry. Good morning by the way." Said Lucian.

"Any news about the girl?" inquired Lucian. And started to walk to the living room.

"Yes but not as we expected though." Said Jeremy.

Lucian's hand, which was about to reach for the glass of water, paused. Lucian silently glanced at him.

" Mr. Bran just called to inform that after leaving the house last night she went in the direction of the forest. It's look like she got into the accident, her car was destroyed, and she is also badly injured. At the time they found her, she had already lost a lot of blood. They send her hospital immediately. Right now she is in hospital under treatment. Her chances of survival is fifty fifty." Jeremy concluded the message.

The look of contemplation appeared on Lucian's face.

"Prepare the jet, we are leaving in an hour." Order Lucian.

"Alright" with that Jeremy leaves the penthouse to do preparation.

After Two hours Lucian and Jeremy were sitting in the private jet owned by Lucian. After a ten hours flight they landed at the small airport.

Jeremy was thinking about what went wrong this time. Lucian has clearly stated that the girl won't live past twenty years. But after her time limit was over but she was still alive.

It isn't possible that Lucian has made any mistakes. Because it's never happened before except one time, and that was already long long ago in the past. And this time it was more likely that someone had played some tricks without their knowledge. They have caught them off guard.

But after that Lucian had made sure that none of those mistakes of the past got repeated.

Exiting the airport both of them sit in the car which was already waiting for them at the exit. after they leave for the hospital where the girl was admitted.

After twenty minutes of driving they reach their destination. The hospital was not very big like in big cities but it was well equipped with the necessary machinery and staff.

The man named Bran hurried to greet them as soon as they arrive. He was little worried. He was the one with whom his master has entrusted the responsibility of the girl but he failed to do the simple task of handling a twenty years old girl. He was caught off guard by her last night. Who have expected that the girl who was behaving from last two months will suddenly pull a stunt like this. And almost lose her life.

Because of the incident last night his wife was so worried.

Martha, his wife, was very attached to the girl. When she heard the news of her accident she almost fainted, and now she was crying non-stop. His heart also hurt looking at his wife and the girl both in this condition.

He lead them straight to the emergency ward, While informing about her current situation.

"The doctors have managed to save her but due to excessive loss of blood and internal injuries, she is in a coma right now." Said bran.

Lucian glanced at the girl laying on the hospital bed inside the emergency room. Her waist long reddish brown hair was spread on the pillow under her head. There was an oxygen mask on her pale white face. Anyone can say with one glance that she was a beauty. Her long eyelashes were akin to smooth feathers.

Lucian can sense the different aura coming from the room which was very different.

" Someone is playing some tricks here huh! It's been very long since Someone has tried to mess around with me. Here the game begins then. " Thought Lucian to himself.

But unknown to him today's morning was going to change the path of many others with him. He was going to entangle in a very long journey that will change his life upside down.
