8 Interesting game.

"Lucian darling!"

As soon as her words fell, The whole room fell into silence. Each one has their own reason for shock.

The old-age couple were in fear that if she provoked him again, Lucian might lose control of him and things would go bad.

The nurse and doctor were dumbfounded, it was like they had discovered some sort of secret. Lucian has some reputation with women. But it was known that all of those relationships were not serious.

But the way he came today to meet the girl as soon as she awakened, and the way he assigned the best staff and people to take care of her in the past one month, it looks like she has some sort of importance in his heart, thought the doctor to himself.

Jeremy was standing there silently admiring her guts.

While Lucian also did not expect her to call him that. But still he was very calm then other people. He just narrowed his eyes a little.

The most shocked person was Annabelle herself.

Annabelle was dumbfounded by her own words. The words she had Just spoken came out of her mouth automatically. It was like she used to call him that way. Which was actually true because the original owner of the body always called him that.

" Hmm. It looks like one month of coma hasn't knocked any sense in you." Finally Lucian Broke the silence.

Annabelle was very embarrassed to speak anything anymore.

Finally the doctor took the lead and started to inform them about her Annabelle's condition.

" Well Mr. Smith, we have just run all the tests and everything looks fine with Miss Hannah. Due to the coma her body is a little weak now but, with regular exercise and other nutritional supplements, that can be fixed in the future slowly." The doctor informed them in a very professional manner.

"And I can also recommend some experts who will help to regain her physical strength." Doctor suggested.

Lucian just nodded and left the room With the doctor and Jeremy.

Bran and his wife Martha hurried near her bed.

" How are you, miss? Hannah? We were so worried about you. Thank god you woke up" Martha bran's wife said.

" I'm alright. You don't have to worry now" Annabelle said in her hoarse voice. It was a little uncomfortable to speak.

Martha was shocked when she heard her polite answer. The actual Hannah in the past has never spoken with them more than a few sentences. She always replied in one or two words mostly in her annoyed voice. But now she was speaking with rather politeness.

Till now uncle bran had not spoken anything, but he feels rather relieved after hearing the girl's polite answer.

" Oh that's good. Are you hungry? I have brought a bowl of plain porridge, chicken soup, and fresh fruit juice." Martha said lovingly. Jeremy had arranged a flat for them near the hospital so they could easily visit Hannah and take care of her. When they find out that Hannah was awake she hurriedly cooked food that she could eat.

Annabelle only nodded her head. Martha brings the food box and nurses to help them set the small table on the bed.

Doctor just allowed her to eat a small portion as she was just coming out of her coma.

Martha fed her some spoon plain porridge and a little fruit juice. After Annabelle finished eating she tidied up the leftovers. Martha wanted to stay there for a while but the nurse didn't allow them.

Then they left the room under the urging of the nurse to let the patient rest

By then Annabelle had exhausted all her energy. She has to keep her calm till now so that she can buy some time to think.

She needed to figure out what was happening.

Who are these people exactly?

Are they friend or foe?

The way they behaved with her, it looked like they didn't have a clue about her situation.

She still doesn't know where she was and what happened back at soulwoods after she died. What about her mother and Dominic? At the thought of Dominic and her mother, her brows frowned in worry. ' Will they be alright?' Thought Anna.

Her heart was filled with pain and worry. She wants to go and search for them, but she doesn't know if it was a good Idea. Her new body was very weak right now and the people around her were all Strangers.

'No she won't let anyone know about her real identity. First she has to figure out everything.' Anna decided in her mind.

Soon due to lack of energy she falls asleep.

After exiting the hospital Lucian and Jeremy left for Lucian's condominium.

It was already past midnight. Lucian was standing near the French window in his room, gazing outside in the sky. His brows were a little creased, he was contemplating something.

Jeremy entered the room with a glass of water in his hand. He passed the glass to Lucian.

"What is it, Jerry? You look troubled." Lucian asked as he slowly sipped water.

"Umm, what do you think about miss. Hannah my lord?" Jerry asked carefully.

" That's an interesting question, Jerry. Tell me what you observed today?" Instead of answering his question Lucian asked him another question.

"Well she just behaved normally" Jeremy said.

" No, that's where you made a mistake. On the surface she behaved like Hannah would do. But there was an expression of curiosity, shock, and confusion in her eyes. Like she was with extremely foreign people." Lucian said while twirling the water in the glass.

" You mean the girl isn't Miss. Hannah?" Jeremy asked again.

" Now that's also a good question. Well, she is and she is not." Lucian replied with a mischievous smile on his face. He moved towards his bedside table and put the glass on it.

Jeremy's forehead wrinkled in confusion.

Lucian smiled at him and spoke again.

" You will be able to find out soon. An interesting game has just begun."
