9 Her new home

Annabelle's new body was quite weak due to being bedridden for a month. So doctor only allowed her to discharge after

four days. After all they can't afford to let their guard down, what if the patient feel any problem after discharge they can't afford to offend bigboss like Lucian.

Jeremy complete the discharge process and Martha and bran wheeled Anna out of her hospital room. Annabelle was able to walk now but Martha insisted not let her walk.

A brand new Mercedes was parked outside the hospital entrance.

Martha helped Anna in the car, and soon they left for the Home.

After around forty minutes of drive car reached the outskirts of the city. The area was seculed without any city noise and pollution.

When the car reached at the big gate of the mansion, one of the security guard press the button from the security office.

The giant gate automatically open. Annabelle's eyes were glued outside the car window. Her eyes were taking in everything outside. So many trees were on both sides of the road. After ten minutes of ride the car reached in front of a huge fountain. The car stop after half circling the fountain. There was a huge castle type mansion.

Annabelle's eyes were wide open, she was looking at her surrounding. She was looking at the mansion in awe. The scenery was quite beautiful.

Soulwoods was located near isolated forest, away from the human community. But they were still in this world so how can they be unaware about the modern technology. Anna was also aware about those things. There were also a fair share of modern technology and amazingly designed building in soulwoods. Not to forget the royal mansion where her wedding was organized.

They climbed out of the car. One old-age man came out from the mansion to greet them. There were so many wrinkles on his face. His eyes were big and sharp like one of the owls.

He came and bow to them.

"Welcome miss. Hannah. The master is waiting for you inside." He said to Annabelle. He then bowed a little to Jeremy and middle-age couple in the gesture of greetings.

Then he leads them inside the mansion. As Annabelle has expected the mansion was beautiful inside as outside. Everything was magnificent and splendid. Each corner was glittering with faint glow. There was a huge chandelier on the middle of the living room.

But the most attractive thing was a man sitting in the sofa located in the middle of the living room.

Lucian was clad in a black suit. His one hand was resting on the back of the sofa while other was holding a cigarette. He was looking like a king. (Well, that he was.) There was a grand staircase behind him leading to the upper floors of the mansion.

Annabelle was fumbling with the memories of Hannah in her mind to find if she was here before. But there was no memory of this mansion that means she had never come to this place before.

When Hannah has moved with Lucian after her parents' death, Lucian has arranged her in his small villa in the city. Which was near his working place.

As one of the Wealthiest man in the city he has so many properties in and out the city. He like to purchase beautiful and luxurious House and properties all around the world.

Also he enjoys living in different places. He has Habit of changing his residence frequently.

As Annabelle was busy looking around, her eyes suddenly fell on the man sitting in the middle of the living room. When their eyes meet, Anna's breath hitched. His eyes were so captivating locking her in her place. Annabelle was looking deeply into his eyes, like a deep ocean.

The sudden voice of Jeremy broke her trance and she quickly adjust her emotions.

"Good afternoon sir." Jeremy greeted. Lucian just nodded his head at him and then glance at Annabelle.

" Welcome to my humble House 'Hannah'. I hope you are finally recovered 'Hannah'." Lucian said. Each time he speaks, he deliberately press on her name.

"Yes I'm fine now Mr. Smith." Annabelle replied. Anna could not help but shiver the way he speaks her name, his eyes glittered like he knew something. Lucian lifted his eyebrows at her way of addressing him.

After the first day Anna woke up, Lucian never visited her again. He just keeps his eyes on her through Jeremy. And he was quite surprised by the way she behaved obediently in this past days.

" That's good. You can consider this mansion as your new home from now on. The room is arranged for you at the second floor. Now you can go and take a rest if you want or you can join me for tea." Lucian said.

If it was old Hannah, she wouldn't have lost the opportunity to speak and stay with him. But Annabelle was in no mood to stay with this man. It was her second meeting with him after she awake, but She doesn't know why but feel a speck of fear around him.

" No. I would like to rest." With that she left with the maid and Martha to her assigned room. Bran also tactfully take his leave after bowing to Lucian. Jeremy sits on one of the sofa chair near Lucian and inform him about some business matters.

Upstairs Anna enters the big bedroom. Her eyes wide at the sight in front of her. It was a huge room with a separate living area and bedroom area. There was also attached bathroom with a huge bathtub in it. The decoration was detailed as per the test of any twenty years old girl. The canopy bed look fluffy and soft with light blue bedding.

After taking a bath with the help of Martha, Anna asked her to leave her for a while so she can rest. After Martha left Anna just lay in the bed thinking. After sometime she drifted to sleep due to the effect of medicine.
