In one of the Skyscrapers, named Smith enterprise, the man was sitting on the luxurious couch of the penthouse located on the top floor of the building. The penthouse was decorated in a very manly way. The luxury and richness were oozing out of every corner of the house. On the left side there was a French window allowing cool night breeze in the house. Man's posture was lazy. One leg was resting on the other, In one hand was a cigarette while the other was resting on the armrest.

His jet black bangs were covering his blood-red eyes. There was a look of contemplation on his face, maybe he was waiting for someone or some news. His image was perfectly Blending with the city night, giving him more dark Vibes.

After waiting for ten minutes, someone knocked on the door. After that a man entered the room. Newcomer was around the age of twenty-five or twenty-six. His cute face was decorated with round spectacles, Giving him the totally opposite vibe of the man sitting on the couch.

" Mr. Bran called just a while ago. Said that miss Hannah ran away from the House around two hours ago. They are trying to find her but, there is no news of her." Said the man named Jeremy.

" And there won't be any news of her any more. She isn't running away from them but to her death. I guess. We can not do anything about it. It was her choice after all." Said Lucian.

"You mean to say my lord that.."

"Her time has ended." Lucian completed his sentence.

"What about your promise to her parents, my lord?" Asked Jeremy.

" I have kept my promise to save her from any dangers, which I have done so far. Her time has ended long ago but I have preserved her life till now. But one can not cheat death for long. Not, even myself. You should be aware of it Jerry." Informed Lucian.

" I'm my lord. Umm would you like me to book the flight ticket?." Inquired Jeremy.

"Wait for now."

"As you wish my king" Jeremy was about to take his leave when someone knocked on the door. Lucian blinked his eyes twice. His eyes changed color from blood red to brown.

"Come in" said Jeremy

The lean and sexy woman in her early twenties entered the living room.

" Good evening Boss. Good evening assistant Jeremy." Greeted the woman in her sexy voice.

"Yes Lilli, what's the matter?" asked Lucian in his husky and sexy voice.

Hearing the direct question From her handsome boss, a blush crept on the young woman's face. She was more happy with the fact that he knew her name.

" There is a call from Mr. Bran. He wants to talk to you about an important matter, assistant Jeremy." Answered Lilli with her sexy voice taking two steps in the direction of Lucian. It was a rare chance to enter the house of her boss and meet him in person, she isn't going to let this chance go to waste. Thought Lilli to herself.

She joined the company only a month ago as a secretary of Jeremy who was the main assistant of the president of the company, and in this one month she had heard many things about him. That's how he changes his woman very often. But it's a regret that he never entangled himself with his employees. But she wanted to try her luck, maybe she could attract his attention.

Two men in the room were obviously well aware of the young woman's intentions.

"If there is nothing else, I should go and attend the call, sir" Jeremy proceeded to leave the room. But the little secretary of his was still glued on the man in front of her.

"Miss Lilli, I think we should leave now." Said Jeremy.

His words jolted her out of her trance. It was visible that she was reluctant to leave right now.

" Lilly, I think you should help me read this report. What do you say? " Said Lucian.

Lucian was a man who enjoyed the attention from women. He frequently changes his women too, but he has some principles too and one of them was never to hook up with employees. He liked to keep his work and personal life separate.

But that doesn't mean that he will never humor them. He finds it amusing how they try to enchant him and in return he also gets his amusement from their little act.

Knowing what his master wanted Jerry quietly left the place. So that his devilish boss can enjoy his time.

On the other hand Lilly was in seventh heaven. Finally she succeeded in grabbing the attention of the boss.

"Come sit here and start your work" signalled Lucian pointing at the sofa opposite him.

Lilly took her seat on the couch and started to analyze the report and then explaining the summary to Lucian as accurately as possible. Also trying to gain his attention with her beauty and knowledge.

Well, nothing happened between them as Lilly has thought and wished for, but it was a good start thought Lilly to herself. On the other hand Lucian was happy with his quite entertaining time with her.
