23 Chapter Twenty Three : We Finally Arrived

so after I went downstairs, Mom said: "your just in time".

I told her "yeah of course I am".

Mom said: "whatever, let's go and don't forget to behave yourself".

I told her "I am always behaving my self, so let's get going".

Mom said: "I know you're always polite, so keep it that way, let's go".

So when we went out, I saw Mr.Tomas waiting outside the car.

I got down the stairs and then he opened the cars door for me and my mom, so mom went in and I went after her, however since I am a shortie, he carried me then put me in the car, how embarrassing😩.

In that big limousine car, there was only me,mom,dad,the driver and Mr. Tomas, I thought for sure Mr.Levin we'll be here, but I guess not.

No one was speaking, so the atmosphere was so awkward, I wanted to changer that boring mood, so I said to Mr.Tomas "is the place we're going to, close to our house ?".

He replied "yes, it's not far from here".

Dad then said: "it's been three years since my last visit to England, but it haven't changed that much".

Mr.Tomas said "I wouldn't be so sure if I were you".

Then the car turned to the right, and the driver said: "this is the newest part in England, it opened 2 months ago, do you still think it didn't change much?".

I told him "that explains why it been so crowded lately ".

The driver said: "so Miss.Ann do you know about the newest part in England?".

I replied "of course I know about it, I even came her before, it's called {Malicos land}, and it's called this way because the project Supervisor is called (Malik),

He is a very popular architect who came from the west".

After that the driver said: "your right, I always thought that Malik is a weird name, but since he's from the west, it dose make since".

I told him "I wouldn't say it's a weird name, I would say it's a unique one, don't you think?".

The driver said: "then unique it is".

I talked to him quite awhile, and I still didn't know his name so I asked him "by the way, what's your name ?".

He said: "I am glad you asked, I am BoB, don't worry you we'll see me more often when school starts little Miss".

Dad said: "why is that ?, if I may ask".

BoB said: "what? Didn't you know??".

And dad got curious so he said: "know what?".

BoB said: "your daughter won the biggest painting competition which ended yesterday, she won first place and won a scholarship to the most famous top school St:Royal Indoor Academy, she also won 35,000$, not to mention everything that comes with a scholarship, like a monthly allowance, a place in the school dormitory to stay in, a private driver and...etc".

Dad looked really surprised, he said in a loud voice "what!!? all that, how come I didn't know about it?".

I replied to him "But I did tell you that Mr.Levin was one of my previous competition judges".

Dad said: "now that you mention it you did say something like that, but still this price is something else, seriously all this just for painting!".

Mom said: "yes, and she was able to gain everyone's attention by her painting {to know the unknown}, if you want to see it, we can go to the Art Gallery some other time".

Dad said: "that's my Ann for you,  she is something else".

Then Mr.Tomas said: "yes indeed, anyways my dear friends we have arrived".
