10 Chapter Ten : My talent isn’t limited

Mom asked me "Ann, do you know why Ms. Levin is here ??".

I had to lie in a situation like that, so I told her "no I don't, however, the faster you go the earlier you will know".

That way I did not tell a lie, then Mom said: "well I'm ready now, shall we go?".

I didn't want to go so I told her "I don't feel well".

So she told me "I didn't raise you like this, come on before he leaves,   you will thank him for the ride".

I told her "fine".

She then said: " besides, this might be a chance, it looks like he took a liking to you".

I told my self "dose she really think so ??, it looks like no one can tell, what's in that old man's mind accept me, huh".

Mom said : "come on, let's go".

on the way down mom told me in a weird voice "Dear, act probably okay,  Go to the kitchen and prepare some coffee just like I taught you, then bring it to the guest room, okay honey".

I was kind of pissed off, from the way she started acting nice and all.

Any ways I told her " yes of course, I will make sure it's the most delicious coffee you ever tasted".

Mom said: "then I will be counting on you, don't be late, and while you're at it, let your hair down, it will look prettier".

I told her "whatever".

but then she gave me the stare that says "well you act more lady like".

I went to the kitchen anyways, and you can probably guess who was waiting there, it was Gorge, he just looked at me and started laughing.

He then stopped laughing and said: "it looks like your mom wants to marry you off to the Layler family, hahaha!!!".

I told him "hahaha, very funny".

He said: "poor you, it's okay, all moms act like this, specially if someone important comes to their house".

I told him "yes, she isn't the only one, but I will never marry some one she wants me to marry, unless I want to"

Then he said in a very annoying voice "says who?, the girl who does everything her mom tells her to?".

I told him "It's true the past me would certainly do anything she's told, even if it's marrying a man she she isn't pleased with, but not to me right now, that painting saved me, it changed many thing I saw and did wrong, and I am grateful for you and for Mr Louis"

Then he said: "by a man your pleased with, do you mean me??..😁". And gave me a creepy smile.

I told him "why on earth well I mean you?, you're not my type anyway". And I stuck my tongue out.

He said: "you broke my heart little Ann".

I told him "what ever, can you let me focus now?, I have to prepare the coffee".

He said: "any thing you say little Ann, see you later" and vanished, like always.

Then I started making the coffee and said: " I will make the best coffee mankind ever made, Just you wait, I will let you realize, your child's talent isn't just limited to painting and mathematics solving".
