40 Hunter exam (Phase 2)

The door had a huge wall around it surrounding the whole property. The doors was brown, and completely made of metal. when Mr satoz disappeared from view the huge doors started sliding open to reveal a huge mansion far back. within the yard there were cooking supplies and slow turning ovens all over the place, and sitting on a couch in front of the mansion was a girl with bluish/greenish hair and a nice body. wearing some shorts and an see through top and black bra. then behind her was a huge huge man. real chubby. wearing a orange shirt and black pants and you can still see his stomach.

"All applicants who've passed the first phase, please enter. " examiner

we all entered.

"I'm Menchi, the examiner for the second phase." menchi

"likewise, I'm Buhara" Buhara

then there was a loud growling sound. everyone was confused trying to figure out what that sound was.

"you must be hungry." menchi

"Im starving" Buhara

"There you have it. The second phase will involve..." menchi said standing up

everyone became nervous all of a sudden.

"...Cooking." menchi

everyone was pissed. this was the hunter exam not a cook off everyone was saying. It kinda made me mad. I liked good food so kinda liked this challenge.

"your quite right. Your challenge for the second is to produce a dish that will satisfy our palate." menchi

"why do we have to cook?" random person

"that's because we are Gourmet Hunters." menchi

Everyone started to laugh at that. Everyone except me, maybe Hisoka as well, I don't know i wasen't paying attention to him.

menchi looked kinda mad at that, and Buhara just looked, well I don't know the word for it. He looked kinda stupid I guess. maybe he didn't know what was happening.

"so gourmet hunters, what are we supposed to make." random guy

"Buhara." menchi

Buhara stood up.

"The required Ingredient is pork.." Buhara

"pork, as im pig meat." random guy

"any pig from visca forest will do. you must use the cooking facilities here to prepare the pork, and you only pass if we both find it delicious." buhara

"and we will evaluate more than just on the taste. don't underestimate the intricacies of cooking." menchi

"when we have both eaten our fill the exam will end." menchi

"then the second exam may begin." buhara said slapping his huge belly like a drum.

everyone started running into the forest. everyone started looking for the pig. I followed gon, I could have found them by the smell but Ill leave it to gon.

Gon jumped down and slid. I jumped after him and so did killua, Kurapika and leorio. we he hit the bottom we all bumped into each other.

"why did you stop gon?" zero

"yeah, what gives, gon?" Killua

"found them" gon said pointing.

"cool, there so huge." zero said acting.

the pigs were chewing on a few bones. he saw us then started running after us. we started running. I turned around and jumped into the air. did a few flips and then brought down an ax kick with my right foot hitting the pigs forehead.

The pig let out a huge squeal then feel down. I pick the pig up one handed and started heading back. gon and killua saw me and started doing the same. the kurapika and leorio and then everyone else. soon everyone had there pigs.

we arrived at the exam site with our pigs and everyone just started cooking. I cut my pig up into slices and made pork. A few people finished and all ready had theres tested and failed.

"hey system can I buy cooking supplies from you." zero asked interested.

"ok then system buy some Ichiraku ramen. 2 Huge bowls, and can you use the pig in front of my as the pork." zero

'good, I have a back corner cooking stove so nobody can see me. I have my back turned to them.' I thought

I put the pig into my inventory for the system. It used it and made some Ichiraku ramen within huge bowls, and I still had some leftover pork. I used my fire magic to burn the cols within the cooker so show I cooked it and then Brought out my ramen. alot of people already went and all failed.

I waited after gon, kurapika, and leorio.

Leorio went first and just put a flag within the top of his cooked pig. menchi got mad at the kiddy meal.

Gon went next and put flowers on his. menchi got mad at yet another kiddy meal.

then was kurapika and just made his into a hamburger. she was kinda surprised, that it resembles an actual dish. she tried it our but didn't like it.

now was my turn.

I put two large bowls of ramen on the table and menchi was clearly surprised.

"now this looks like food. what is it exactly." menchi asked looking at me.

"pork ramen." zero said with a smile

she grabbed her fork and swirled some noodles onto it with a slab of pork and put it into her mouth and started eating. her face light up.

"the noodles are so smooth yet rich in flavor and the pork is juicy and cooked to perfection. this is the best thing Iv'e every eaten." menchi

'of course it's the best thing you have ever eaten, the system made it and the system is supreme.' I thought.

"you pass." menchi said with a sort of smile.

"you pass" buhara said slurping the rest of his noodles.

everyone looked at me in shock. menchi then looked at me.

"are you trying to become a gourmet hunter." menchi

"no, cooking is just a hobbie that I love. I love trying out new food in new places. so I started cooking when Im not training." zero said with a smile

menchi had a smile after hearing that. she stood up and announced.

"Only one person passed. we're done here." menchi

everyone was surprised. a fat guy was pissed off and attacked menchi only for buhara to punch him and make him fly over 10 meters away.

"let me make this simple. we frequently venture into the dens of ferocious beasts, searching for ingredients. every hunter knows some form of martial art. you lack focus and the willingness to experiment. That alone disqualifies you from becoming hunters." menchi said spinning around knives really fast.

"Even so, Isn't it a little excessive to fail all but one of the applicants?" a mysterious voice said from the sky as a blimp slowly flew over us.

then an old man jumped from the blimp and fell through the air and landed in the middle of the feild. he had white hair and a white and blue robe. really big ears and some wooden sandals.

"the head of the exam commission. chairman netero." menchi

"well, I work behind the scenes. I only take action when there's an issue, like now." netero

"so, ms. menchi" netero

"yes" menchi said standing in front of netero

he started asking her why she failed all but one with the excuses of the willingness to experiment. she said she got mad at them laughing at gourmet hunters. so she said she was sorry and asked if he would mine taking the applicants to split mountain within his blimp.

1 hour later we arrived at split mountain. she showed us the eggs within and stated that we need to get one. that spider eagles put them there to help the chicks fly because of the wind currents. she jumped down, waited for the air then jumped again and grabbed an egg then the wind currents carried her back up everyone was surprised.

before anyone could even say anything I jumped down and grabbed an cord that was holding the eggs. gon and killua and everyone else followed. some jumped down and died but I waited.

"now" gon

we all jumped and grabbed an egg. they all passed. when I arrived back on top, menchi looked at me confused.

"you already passed, why did you take part." menchi looked confused.

netero hearing menchi looked at me interested.

"because, I like food. why wouldn't I want one of these eggs." zero said with a smile.

both netero and menchi looked at me for a second then smiled a little.
