1 1. I'm Reincarnated. No! I Gained My Past Life Memories

The previous sudden pain that struck his head, made him grit his teeth to endure the sudden pain. He couldn't handle the dizziness and then fell to the ground before he was unconscious.

As the youngster woke up in his room, he looked at his left and right confusingly. It wasn't that long before he realized that he reincarnated into a popular manga character.

His skin is white, slightly long black hair for a normal average boy, and both of his ears have pierced marks.

Originally, he was just an average office worker in a certain company. but because his original body was too weak, he couldn't just work tirelessly. Unfortunately though, because he had got additional work from the main office or headquarters, it made him work overtime, and died because his body couldn't handle it.

He still looked like 14 or 15 years old. If he remembered correctly, he should be reincarnated into Miyamura Izumi, a popular manga character.

As to how and why he ended up reincarnated into Miyamura Izumi, he had no idea.

"Izumi, what happened?" his mother, Iori, checked inside Izumi's room after she heard the noise. She looked at his son, who almost fainted on the floor.

"Are you alright Izumi? If you don't feel well, you should skip school today. Tomorrow will be your graduation, so you can rest for a whole day." Iori said with concern.

"It's okay mom, I just feel dizzy somehow, I'm alright now." Izumi replied as he felt the bunch of memories slapping inside his head. Those were the memories from his past life. In other words, those were memories before he reincarnated into Miyamura Izumi.

"Is this still my body? Somehow I just regained my previous life memories just now. If I become the main character in a certain manga, does that mean I can flip, ah no, can I make a difference from what Miyamura Izumi did in the original story?" Izumi said in his mind.

"Alright, you should rest, I'll tell the teacher that you're absent today." Iori said while she let Izumi lay down on his bed.

"Alright." Izumi replied shortly.

After seeing his mother go out of his room, he got up out of his bed while murmuring.

"It's so fortunate of me I reincarnated in the modern world, not in the supernatural modern world or superpower world." What he didn't know was that his words were like raising a flag.

And then Izumi looked at his phone, which is still the 2010 model. He browsed from his phone to look at recent news or worldly affairs. He was shocked that it seems this world is an alternate world with different anime mixed up together. He was sure about that because there seemed to be the Tootsuki school or Shiratorizawa volleyball, and there might be even more which he hadn't found out yet.

But the weird thing was, the football here looked like in his previous life, where Real Madrid and Barcelona dominated Spain and Europe, the duo Manchesters dominated the Premier League, etc.

"I feel like I'm still living in my previous life with the addition of the anime characters. This looks fun. Maybe, I should live my life to the fullest since I'm reincarnated. I don't want to regret it and end up being a worthless employee in a certain company who can only listen to an unreasonable boss." Izumi thought inwardly.

He was glad that he got reincarnated and had one more chance to be a successful person. But still, when he looked at his body, he scratched his head in annoyance.

"My body is too skinny. I need to increase my weight. Fortunately, my appearance seems good-looking. It makes me have more confidence dealing with other people, especially a girl."

Despite having a handsome face, his height and weight are only 169 cm and 48 kg. His handsomeness got slightly ruined by how skinny he was.

And another problem is, that he is a lone wolf in this life. If he remembered correctly, he only had 1 friend named Shindou Kouichi, a stupid guy who had already repeated classes twice, but he was quite a funny guy.

Izumi heard someone's steps, so he immediately get back to his bed.

The door of his room opened while his mother entered inside with the breakfast she brought.

"Izumi, here is the breakfast, and get well soon!" Iori said.

"Okay, even though I'm alright now." Izumi replied.

"Don't be like that, just rest today! Look at how skinny your body is. You should eat more!" Iori said with a teasing tone.

"I've been like this since long ago," said Izumi in annoyance.

"Alright, alright. I feel like you are different today. you are not as gloomy as before" Iori said with a smile after looking annoyed at Izumi.

Izumi twitched for a moment. He was shocked but he tried to not show it on his face and then said.

"Is that so? Maybe, you felt something was wrong with me. But, I didn't feel that I'm different though." He could only reply with a smile. His eyes also gaze at his mother's eyes. And his mother felt Izumi didn't lie.

Iori just smiled and said.

"Alright, just call me if you need something!" Then she went out of the room.

Izumi sighed. With his previous life experience, he was used to lying to other people and could fool others easily with his gaze.

"I want my high school life won't be as bad as my previous life. In my previous life, bullying and school gangs were common. To be honest, I hated my school life at that time. People took advantage of the thing called "friend", and when "friend" had no value, they kicked it."

For a moment, Izumi thought it was better to build a community by himself. Since he loves anime, manga, or novels, he might want to invite other people with the same hobby into his circle.

In his previous life, he wasn't Japanese. But now, he is reincarnated into Japanese. He didn't know why some Japanese didn't like the thing called "Otaku". Gross? Weird? Well, Izumi didn't really care about that. People who despise other people's hobbies were just kids. "Well, who the fuck cares about that. There are a lot of people who like anime anyway."

Time goes by as the day of the high school opening ceremony begins.

Miyamura Izumi was accepted into Katagiri High School with a slightly above-average score. Well, it's just the same as his past life in high school, as most of the time, his score was just so-so.

"Mother, I'm going." Izumi said while putting on his shoes, then went out to the school.

"Be careful!" said Iori.

Izumi walked slowly on his way toward the school. His house wasn't too far from the school, so she wasn't in a rush.

On his way, he saw several people who had colorful hair. If he thought about it, their hair color was very identical to the characters in the anime. Well, he didn't realize before gained his past life memories. He was already getting used to it now.

His appearance looked like a geeky guy with almost shoulder-length straight hair and glasses.

It might be interesting when he looked geeky at school and badass outside the school. If he really followed the story, he should get Hori Kyouko's heart.

After some time, finally, the opening ceremony begins.

Izumi looked at the podium with the Principal blabbering something that made him feel drowsy. After that, he looked at the first-year representative that he had already expected, which was Hori Kyouko. Even though her body is so so, she was still beautiful if Izumi needed to be honest. Somehow, even his heart was beating a little bit faster after looking at her.

But. Something interrupted.

His phone suddenly vibrated.
