Childhood friend - Miyako

Ground owned by Suichin academy were in no way small. As a prestigious academy, it owned land worthy of it's reputation. 

Though, most of those lands were used in sport fields around our school.

As I walked through the school as student council president, I started thinking who to appoint as student council members.

Kaguya is definitely worthy of becoming the vice President.

I need to find other members since I am not planning to keep ishigami yu and fujiwara in the student council. Sure they are intresting and funny characters but as a student council president, I have to recruit more efficient and smart people. Student council has many tasks to do afterall.

As I strolled further, I arrived at the staff room.

Since I need the list of new students to recruit for student council, I decided to ask for a list from teachers.

"Excuse me, can I-"

I entered the room but stopped at doorway. It was because of what I saw inside.

A pink haired women was sitting in front of the computer with her face muscles all stiffened up. If someone who didn't know her saw her like this, they would definitely think she is furious at something.

"Sigh~ Mafuyu, you should learn to relax a bit." I walked behind her and slowly whispered in her ear.

"Hyahh!" Mafuyu Kirisu, who was too focused on her task, didn't notice me at all. Only when I whispered in her ears, did she notice me and jumped up from her chair.

"Ah... It's just Izanagi-kun." She heaved a sigh of relief.

Mafuyu Kirisu is one of the teachers in this school and also the teacher closest to Izanagi. She always helped Izanagi on his first year in this school. When he got to know about her poor living conditions, Izanagi had her move to the grandest building he knew. 

The building that I was in at the starting is also the building that Mafuyu started living in.

Since the home was same, many interactions between two of us brought us closer.

"Detestable. How did you learn to sneak up on defenseless women, Izanagi-kun?" She scolded

"Come on, defenseless? If anybody else saw you, they would definitely run away in fear. That's how your face looked." I said with a playful tone.

"..." She wasn't able to retort against it since it was the truth. Her cold demanour and poker face always made people scared of her. She didn't have any good social connections due to this.

"Oh, I need the list of new students." I asked her, revealing my intention for arriving here.

"Expected. You might need them for recruitment of new members. I already kept a list for you." She handed me a list.

"Thank you very much, Mafuyu." I took the list and hugged her.

The unexpected hug caught her off-guard. 

"Immoral! Don't do this while we are in school!" Her face was red and she looked around to make sure nobody saw us.

"Well then, I'm off."

After walking out of the staff's room, I started reading the list. 

There were many students that I knew about from mangas and animes. 

Looking at the list, I found some people who might be capable enough to stay in the council.

"Come on Micchon!! You can do it!!"

"Come on Ai-chan! You can defeat her!!"

Loud cheers were coming from the volleyball stadium I arrived at.

I decided to take a look inside since the name Micchon was somewhat familiar to me.

Girls volleyball match was going on inside the stadium. It was not an official match but the cheers were loud enough to misunderstand the match as official.

Reason for those cheers were two beautiful first year girls. Miyako Shikimori and Ai Kamiya.

As of now, Shikimori's team was losing against Kamiya's team.

Although it was not known publicly, Miyako Shikimori was a childhood friend of mine. Later due to some kind of order from my dad, I had to move to Europe. 

It's been 7 years since I last saw her.

"Pfft- seriously, what a cliché past I have..." I said to myself.

"YOU CAN DO IT, MIYAKO!" I cheered for her. Since my body was already nearly superhuman, my voice was also loud enough to ring around the stadium and easily supress all other cheers.

Due to the loud cheer, everyone stopped playing and looked at me.

"Iza...nagi...?" Miyako looked at for a while before recognising me.

I just lightly waved towards her.

"Sigh~ what a great time to meet again..." Miyako muttered to herself.

"Eh? Shikimori-san, do you know president Izanagi?" One of her teammates asked Miyako.

"...No. He is just someone who loves to break promises."

Although she said that, it was kinda obvious to all of her teammates. She wasn't even able to stop the blooming smile and bright blush on her face.

"...Let's do it, girls." Miyako tied her hair again with a band and said to her team.

"...but it was supposed to be a casual match..." One of her teammates muttered under her breath.

With a really great match, that ended in Shikimori's victory, both of the teams returned back to their seats.

Miyako went back to change with her team.

I had more work to do so I decided to talk to her later. I was immediately called to the student council room by the principal.

Back in the student council room, I saw a stack of papers on desk.

They were all suggestions from past year students, complaints, etc. My work was to read all of them and either approve them or reject them.

Reading all these one by one is just too much task for one person and that's why I need to recruit more members in student council. As a partial superhuman, I am able to do these all within a few minutes but this work would be doubled or tripled in next few days.

"Sigh~ let's just do it..."

I sat on the desk and started doing the work.
