Chapter 30 A knot

Masamune immediately came out of Kotetsu's house. When he heard the word hate from him, he felt strange. It was a feeling he had experienced before, but a long time ago.

He looked at Sagiri, who now had a very sad expression on her face. He knew she wasn't feeling well. that her father and mother were like this. She looked at Masamune. 

She thought, How would he feel that his actual father would hate him like this? and told him that he was the cause of his mother's death.

Masamune now has no memories of the old Masamune. He didn't know who the woman Kotetsu said was. He only knew that he was the cause. And that was because he was born. She had to die because of him.

Masamune should not feel anything at this moment. But why was his heart aching so inexplicably? He thought back to when he was young. His parents, in order to survive, leave him behind as bait to lure zombies without him knowing.

He thought that his parents would definitely come back to pick him up. But no matter how long he waited, they didn't return. 

What made him think that his parents had abandoned him instead of thinking that his parents had an accident along the way? 

It was because the food that had been stocked had all disappeared.

He knew exactly at that moment that they had left him there, shared their food, and separated in order to survive. He was left alone to lure zombies to stay with him in an old abandoned house.

He had to do whatever it took to survive the situation. Luckily, he was able to use the Z-Shop. Otherwise, he would have died.

After surviving that time, Since then, he has never trusted anyone, not even himself.

He didn't know why he was sent back here in the body of Masamune, and it made him feel something that he should not be able to feel anymore. It was overwhelming.

He may think he doesn't feel anything anymore. But the events of that time became a knot deeply embedded in his mind without him even realizing it. No matter how old he was, The scars he had were unable to fade away.

He walked over and rubbed Sagiri's head. She cried out of sadness and hugged him. He felt sorry for her.

'Why, apart from a weak body like this? Why does this body still give me such a weak mentality?' Masamune blamed this body for causing his strong mind to tremble. He blamed it on the fact that the old Masamune was incompetent.

Sagiri, at this moment, looked at Masamune. She cried even harder. causing him to not understand what was going on. However, she was furious before reaching out to his face. and gently wiped something off his face.

Masamune sensed that there was a drop of water on his face. He was unaware that his tears were flowing.

'Damn it, what happened to me?'

Masamune hurriedly wiped the water droplets on his face before speaking to Sagiri.

"Sagiri, from now on I will take care of Sagiri, don't worry. Sagiri is my lovely little sister and also my beloved woman. Follow me from now on, I will not make you sad."

This was the first time Masamune had said something like this. But he didn't know why it came out naturally. It was different from his usual way of speaking.

Sagiri could only nod. Before hesitating a little, Masamune couldn't help asking.

"Sagiri, or you don't want to?"

Sagiri hurriedly shook her head before speaking.

"Not like that, Onii-Chan. Sagiri loves Onii-Chan the most and is ready to go with Onii-Chan everywhere. But—but they are good to Sagiri. To let both of them get eaten by the zombies, Sagiri."

Masamune understood what she wanted to convey. Masamune sighed before speaking.

"Don't worry, Sagiri. Before the day the world ends, I will bring you here and bring them to our base. But if they were to give us a hard time, Please don't blame me, okay."

Masamune didn't want her to cry out or be heartbroken. He didn't understand either, but now he looked at Sagiri like his sister and lover, in spite of actually meeting for only a few days.
