Chapter 17 Shitori Construction Company

Masamune began to explain what he wanted to do within the remaining four months.

The first thing he wanted to do was completely renovate the structure of the warehouse and build a wall that would be strong enough to defend against zombie attacks.

The wall he wanted had to have a minimum height of ten meters or more and must not be less than three meters thick.

This kind of wall was like a prison wall. He wanted it so that there was enough room above the wall to be able to place the necessary weapons.

And when it came to weapons, Masamune became a zealot.

"I want mini-guns!" Masamune pictured a fortress that would be impenetrable. Mini-guns for dealing with the horde of zombies and mutants were a must.

Talking about guns. He had to let them learn how to use it. Guns can still be used against zombies in the early stages to collect Z-coins.

After about two or three months, the gun would eventually become ineffective against the zombies if not upgraded. Because most of them have already evolved into higher-level zombies. Normal bullets and guns were not enough to stop them.

Their skin and muscle tissues have toughened up significantly, making them nearly invincible to bullets.

Talking about evolution. Not only zombies, mutated beasts, and hollow spirits could evolve, but humans and other races too. Unfortunately, all other races except humans were eliminated before they could adapt to the virus.

A battle between humans and zombies. Simply put, which side evolves faster? That side would be the winner. It was a battle against time to see who would adapt and evolve quicker in order to survive from each other.

Some old hunters even called that time "the Age of Evolution War."

Masamune explained this point. Asuka spoke up.

"If you want a wall that is high and strong, you need to find someone who specializes in construction. And another problem is that now you are just a teenager. No one would ever think of working for you." Asuka spoke logically.

He understood what Asuka said. Masamune nodded. He was only eighteen years old now. Who would dare to work for him? Masamune thought for a moment before speaking.

"That is true, as no one would dare to work for me. If that was a normal situation." Masamune smirked. He had already thought about this problem.

Asuka looked at Masamune with suspicion. She didn't understand what Masamune said.

Masamune explained further.

"If it were a normal situation, those contractors would definitely reject me. But what if they were in trouble? If they were going bankrupt, would they still reject my money?" Asuka immediately understood. She nodded to Masamune.

"Then they wouldn't have a choice. To survive, they have to do it."

Asuka understood what Masamune wanted. He then gave Asuka some information. She immediately did as Masamune ordered. She looked for companies with low earnings and was about to go bankrupt.

This was also the test he gave her to see if she could be useful in other areas.

Asuka knew how to accomplish it because her parents used to work in construction before.

Masamune looked at the company at its lowest end. He found it in one company.

"Shitori Construction Company. Looking at the condition, it's probably on the verge of bankruptcy based on the stock trading statistics in the market. It is expected that it will close down soon."

Asuka grinned and gave Masamune a phone number. He made a call to the company. He didn't need to wait long until he heard a girl's voice speak through the phone.

"This is Shitori Construction Company. How can I assist you today?"

The girl's voice was extremely beautiful. He secretly imagined her face from the sound. She must be a very beautiful person. His hunting instinct tells him.

'Hmm, I should visit the company a bit.' Masamune thought before he spoke. "I want to contact the owner of the company. Shitori-san, if possible."

The woman on the line was silent for a moment before speaking up.

"Shitori Sona, the owner of the company, is answering the call. Is there anything I can help you with?"

The operator was the owner. When he thought about it, the company was about to go bankrupt. There won't be many workers.

"I have a job for you. Are you interested?"

"Job? Is it contract work?"

The girl's voice sounded uncertain. Masamune secretly thought that someone might call to prank her often.

"Of course, it is contract work. It's worth a hundred million yen at least."

When he said it was worth a hundred million yen, Masamune swore that he heard the sound of gulping.

"What kind of work is it?"

"Um, explaining over the phone might be a bit difficult. Would it be okay if I went to the company? to explain in depth."

"Yes, that would be very helpful. So, when can we schedule a meeting for you to come in?

"Probably around noon."

"In that case, I will schedule time for you. How about 2 p.m.?"

"That's good, I will be there at 2 p.m. sharp."

Masamune hung up. He just shook his head. Scheduling time? Speak as if there was an appointment to begin with.

Masamune then turned and told Sagiri and Asuka, telling them that he was going to go talk about some business. May or may not come back in the evening.

Sagiri wanted to go with Masamune too, but he refused. He told her to stay with Asuka and work together to figure out what to do in four months.

Masamune probably had a lot of experience. But maybe there were many angles that he might have missed. With two more people, they will help him look at different perspectives from a wider perspective.
