The concierge was already having a bad day when suddenly a shadow overcast his current discourse with an obnoxious guest who demanded to know the private information of another guest.

"I told you, we can't disclose such private information -, " he was saying with the utmost humility he could muster with his patience running thin.

"And I told you, I already know he's here, and I just wanna give him a surprise. So which room is he staying at!"

It was at that moment, that a shadow overcast their conversation. Both looked up at the same time to see someone slide down the marble stairs. The mouth of the concierge dropped wide open.

"I'll be damned," the guest uttered, but his face distorted from previous frustration to excitement. "Move," he continued as he pushed the concierge aside and jumped up the stairs. He bent down and picked up what was dropped. A phone. Brilliant!

"Excuse me, sir?" the concierge cleared his throat behind him. "I believe that doesn't belong to you."

"I believe," Jack replied slowly while activating the hacking option in his ring, "that you are mistaken." He turned around to face the concierge with the grin of a crocodile. "Otherwise, how would I be able to unlock it?" He showed the concierge the unlocked home screen. The picture of a young, smiling woman was the background picture. "My girlfriend, isn't she cute?"

"Ah, yes," the concierge conceded, completely confused. "Please excuse my rudeness."

"Sure thing, buddy, now shoo," Jack said, grinning down at the phone. Carrying around a hacking device on his fingertips had its benefits. Part of the con was always conviction and confidence, an area, in which he was not lacking. The concierge strolled off, thinking to himself this was above his paygrade. But Jack remained sitting on the stairs, scrolling through the contents of the phone. So, this is Angel, he thought. A photo from her college days, it seemed, judging by the background drop of the college buildings. She was laughing, freely with a blush tinting her cheeks, and overall, her sweet innocent aura appealed to anyone who would look at this. Adorable, he thought. If she was indeed One Shot's girlfriend, even better.

He hopped off the stairs to follow in the direction One Shot had run off to and turned around the corner, only to get back behind it the next moment.

"Geez, get a room!" Jack mumbled, annoyed but excited. Finally! A weak spot!
