11 Ten Years Old

[A/N: Really long chapter this time around. Wanted to get everything wrapped up in one chapter to move on to other stuff. If things are still confusing leave a comment as I try to reply to them all when I can. This chapter is probably going to get a revision soon since I don't really have the time to edit it right now. As always, thanks for reading. Hope you enjoy it!]

"-Than she used her quirk on the other two and told me to run." Sakaki finished his explanation to the white-suited man in front of him, still occasionally sniffing his nose.

"Alright, thank you for the explanation. You did a really good job getting your friends out of there, you should be proud." Sir Nighteye said to the kid knowing he needed to hear it otherwise it might become a trauma for him growing up. Well, all the kids will need therapy after this but he hoped his words would ease the boy's mind even just a little.

Wrapping up with the children, he returned to the agency to give a report to All Might. They had already put out a search order on the girl in question being led by none other than her brother, the beast hero: Elfman, but they didn't have much hope.

This did, however, confirm All Might's suspicions that the elusive villain was still active in Japan. There had been signs but this was the first conclusive proof. Had he not mentioned to the kids that he considered taking the hotheaded one's quirk, they might have completely missed this one.

Going back into his office, Nighteye was greeted by his hero, All Might who seemed anxious to get the report. He would have gone himself, but there was a disturbance in another part of the city, so he left it to Nighteye to handle for the time being.

"Well? Was it him?" All Might wasted no time asking the crucial question. This was the man who killed his mentor after all. The one he had been given his quirk to stop. It should be expected he was anxious to get any information available.

"The description matches. All the evidence points to it being him." Nighteye or Sasaki Mirai reported while raising his glasses with his fingers. He gave the full report to All Might while also finishing filing his report for this most recent battle.

"Sigh, as I thought, it is him. But, why would he personally go out of his way to kidnap the young lady? Isn't her quirk the same as her brothers? His style is to usually go after heroes isn't it?" All Might or Toshinori Yagi started mumbling to himself while trying to piece together the mystery. He wanted nothing more than to go out and personally search for the brave little girl that saved her friends, but he knew searching aimlessly would get them nowhere. He had already been searching for All For One for years now. He wouldn't find where he was hiding with just renewed determination alone.

"It seems they have been targeting the girl for a few years now. We checked the clinic where the supposed doctor worked and it seems all records of him and the girl had been wiped clean and anyone who knew much about her initial has already been fired and gone missing." Sasaki said grimly while also remembering another bit of information that made him shudder slightly.

"They might have been looking to recruit the girl. She is a certified genius after all. We had a chance to look through some of her research she had been working on in secret, and some of the things there could be terrifying in the wrong hands. It was lucky she seemed to jump around from project to project and didn't finish things, otherwise…" He didn't even want to finish that thought. He only hoped that the villains didn't know about her work and were only after her quirk, but with the way things were looking, that didn't seem very likely.

"That said she did leave a message with the other two kids before she made them run. She only told them to check her channel, every day and wait for her. It seems she planned to send for help once she could, but I don't see the probability of that happening anytime soon. She might have only said it to ease their minds." He genuinely wondered if the girl would be able to escape on her own. He didn't believe she would though, the girl truly didn't realize what she was up against but he commended her for her bravery nonetheless.

"Then there's nothing we can do for now is there? Crap. What about the children with her, how are they doing?" Although he was angry he was powerless, he was far more concerned about all the children involved.

"They are going to need counseling as you can expect from witnessing their friend die. The one who had to run away probably more so than the other two. The one with the explosion quirk seemed determined to get stronger and pay him back, so there is still hope for him. It's the last one, the quirkless girl, I'm the most concerned about. We weren't able to get much out of her and she seemed to be the most affected by all this." Sasaki finished while sighing tiredly. He could see the girl's spirit was almost broken by this event, she'd need something to break her out of it.

"Maybe I could go pay them a visit? It might help to reassure them that the number one hero is on the job." Toshinori said with his signature smile also bringing a small one to Sasaki. This is why he admired the man in front of him so much, even though something like this should be beneath him he still put in all his effort to give people something to hope for.

"That might be a good idea. That girl seemed to be a fan of yours as well. She had quite the collection on her. I was honestly impressed. Well, it wasn't quite as good as mine." Sasaki said after a moment, once again raising his glasses.

"HaHaHa. Coming from a fanboy like you is quite the compliment. I think we still have some limited edition items here right? I'll bring a few with me when I go visit tomorrow. Could you pick them out, you probably know what's best to give?" All Might said while laughing at his only sidekick.

"I'll have it ready tomorrow. First I have to finish filing all of your recent villain battles." Sasaki said while once again moving to deal with All Might's paperwork.

"Ooh.. sorry, I'll leave it to you" All Might said kind of embarrassed. He was never good with paperwork.

[Time Skip]

'It's been almost 5 years now since I was kidnapped, huh? I wonder how Onii-chan and Onee-chan are doing? It's probably stupid to hope they aren't too worried, huh? I wonder if Onii-chan has a girlfriend yet? Onee-chan used to be really close to Shoto's sister, maybe they got together?' Mira quietly thought to herself while still chained to the wall.

She had been put here a while back after being a little uncooperative with some of the experiments, but it's not like she was at fault right? They wanted to cut her arm off. Again! She couldn't be blamed for turning that idiot into fudge! Hmph, next time she'll try pudding.

'Not that there will be a next time. Today is the day' Mira thought with a wide almost insane looking smile coupled with her red eyes. She hasn't been getting fed much recently but that doesn't matter, soon she'll have all that she can eat once she gets free.

Although she's been trapped here for years, that didn't mean she was idle. They definitely made use of her regeneration during their experiments and they were constantly reminded of her hungry beam when they went too far, but they seemed to forget she still had one ability left! It had taken far longer than she anticipated but it all paid off

"Time to get to work," Mira thought as she began to twist and bend her body into impossible shapes. Her elasticity was often overlooked due to how lackluster it was but they were fools for thinking so. She had been training it in secret all these years and now she could practically become a blob of goo if she strained herself enough. She could also stretch and shapeshift various parts of her body into whatever she wanted.

It had been difficult but she managed to pull the wool over their eyes all these years. Now it was time for payback.

After a bit of struggle, Mira managed to compress her limbs enough to slip out of her restraints and regain her freedom for the first time in a few months. They had quickly discovered with her regeneration she technically didn't need to eat anymore but the lack of energy would slow it down to a halt so they always remembered to feed her just before they planned another test. Just like they did earlier today.

Now that she was free, all she had to do was wait just a little longer. After about an hour, just like she expected, one of AFO's goons finally showed up to retrieve her. Honestly, she hated this guy. He always gave her weird looks and grabbed her funny when getting her. She wasn't stupid, she knew he was sexually attracted to her, but it honestly made her feel disgusted. She was sure if she had been a few years older he would have already tried to attack her. Not that she would give him the chance.

"Oi, brat! It's time to-UGGH!!!" He didn't even get to finish before he felt her arms wrap around his throat suffocating him. She might have turned him into food but she had learned over the years that she had a limit on that ability as well. Back when she first got here she had a limit of 10 beams before she was tapped out, that is, if she doesn't eat what she turns into food. If she actually eats what she turns, she can keep going indefinitely.

She's been training that ability as well and got the max to 20 charges before she was tapped out. So long as she eats a few of the things she turns in between she should be fine, but even now she still refuses to eat a person. She's not that desperate yet. Though she definitely considered it more than once over the years. Especially that bastard Tomura.

'Oops lost myself a bit there, teehee' The man in her arms had long gone silent, and if she continued she might have accidentally killed the poor bastard.

Dropping him not so gently she then searched him for anything important he might have. She had already picked up his access card and all she needed to do now was find a computer. She of course knew where a few of them were but she'd have to be careful along the way.

Seeing as he had nothing too important on him, she stripped him of his clothes before putting them on herself. She had been basically wearing rags up until and she needed a disguise. She stretched her body a bit to fit the clothes and then put on the face cover he wore.

She was almost ready to depart and she knew she didn't have long before they started wondering where she was but she still had one more piece of her plan to get.

"Can't forget my little baby, now can I?" She said after tying the piece of trash beneath her up with her old rags.

She headed towards one of the cracks in the walls and stretched her fingers again and pulled out a small metal orb. Like she said before, it's not like she was idle all these years, during a few of her tantrums she would fire off her hungry beam and certain equipment would go missing afterward. It was simple enough to pick what she wanted, turn it into food, and use telekinesis to hide it in her hair or such later without being noticed. Then she just turned it back into whatever she picked up later.

The punishments afterward were a little harsh but nothing she couldn't handle. She was thankfully left alone in her cell most of the time with no surveillance. They had learned pretty early that she wouldn't tolerate it when she turned the camera in her room into chocolate. She was a little worried she overestimated her value, but thankfully that gamble paid off. It's also what started her plan in the first place.

With everything prepared, she departed her oh so lonely cell. Come to think of it, her birthday was today, wasn't it? She is definitely going to make it one to remember!

XXX

"I can't believe it's almost been 5 years since she was taken away. Another birthday passed. She'd be 10 today. Sigh." Lisa sat glumly at the small kotatsu in front of her munching on some cookies. She always got sad around this time of year, for good reason too. She lost both her mother and her little sister in the same month. She hated this time of year lately.

"I'm sure she's doing fine Lisa. From what you told me about her, she's quite the little fighter right?" The girl next to her said as she took Lisa's hand in her own giving her a loving smile.

"Even if you say that Fuyumi… Sigh," Lisa sighed tiredly as she leaned against the shoulder of her girlfriend. After Mira was taken, she was a wreck. Maybe even worse than that. It didn't help that her idiot brother practically spent every single day out looking for her even now, neglecting her during that time.

It was Fuyumi the second oldest Todoroki, 'No, I guess she would be the oldest now, huh?' that kept her company and healed her heart. The two had always been close to each other but things grew between them over the years after the disappearance of Mira. Fuyumi became her only pillar of support during that time. After the accident of Toya, her own older brother, the two started relying on each other even more until things eventually got to this point.

There wasn't any confession involved, it was just natural. A simple goodbye kiss that left them both kind of shocked. Neither remembered who initiated but neither pulled away either.

"By the way, how is Shoto? I haven't seen her around lately," Lisa asked casually while flipping on the TV. Some news about another villain attack, what else is new.

"She's still training like mad, nothing much new there. She's gotten pretty good with her fire side too. Even dad has been bragging about her nonstop lately, although mom has been forcing her to cut her training a bit more." Fuyumi said while grabbing a cookie of her own to eat.

Mira's kidnapping had a lot of effects on a lot of people. When Shoto heard about it she was devastated she wasn't there to protect her friend. She almost became as power-hungry as their father and practically demanded he train her so she could become a hero and find Mira in the future. It was only after their mother told her that Mira wouldn't like to see her in that state that she finally calmed down a little.

Their mother ended up in a small fight with their father but in the end, she somehow won out and Shoto's training was reduced a bit. Fuyumi had to ask what made their soft-spoken mother put her foot down for the first time, but she only said she didn't want to see her family broken apart.

Fuyumi immediately knew what she was referring to. Perhaps it was that conversation that sparked her desire to comfort the slightly younger girl next to her.

"Hehe, I bet Mira will be pretty shocked when she finds out Shoto was a girl this whole time. I know Nii-chan was." Lisa thought back to the day she found out. It seems Rei-san refused to allow Shoto to continue pretending to be a boy. That woman can be really fierce when it comes to her family but otherwise, she always has a kind smile on her face. She also seemed a lot less tired than she used to and animatedly chats with her and Fuyumi whenever she visits.

"Pfft, tell me about it. I was shocked myself and she's my sister! I remember whe-" Fuyumi laughed a bit remembering the day she found out as well. She was interrupted as she heard heavy footsteps running through their home.

"NEE-CHAN! Your computer! The Minecraft youtube channel is about to go live!" It was then that Natsuo Todoroki, the third oldest Todoroki barged into the room out of breath looking frazzled.

"WHAT!? Are you sure!?" Fuyumi, equally as surprised, asked redundantly. turned to look at a completely stunned Lisa trying to process the information. It eventually came out that the missing girl was the creator of one of the most popular games ever made. Her message was also left with the two kids before she was taken so various people had made a habit to check it once in a while.

After the years went on, not many people did anymore but there were still some dedicated fans of her that waited for the next update completely unaware of her situation. One of them had checked and saw the channel would be going live in a few hours and posted it on Twitter. The news instantly broke until it eventually reached Natsuo's ears. He of course knew his sister was dating hers so he immediately went to go find her. He didn't actually know the other girl was visiting though.

Seeing as her girlfriend wasn't in a position to move Fuyumi got up and grabbed her laptop and opened up her youtube page. Checking the Minecraft page that hasn't been updated in almost 5 years, they could see a new update for a live stream.

Lisa was not sure how to take the update. She was relieved that proof her sister is still alive might be coming, but the fact that she wasn't in front of her at this moment worried her to no end. If she was doing things like this, that meant she was still in danger.

Her thoughts were erratic and it was only the comforting arms of her girlfriend that calmed her down enough to sit through the last few seconds of the countdown.

"Ahh, Ahh testing testing~ 3 2 1~ is this thing working yet? It was made out of spare parts…" A cute voice started checking for the audio. A voice that although a little deeper than the last time she heard it, was one that Lisa would never forget as tears started building up in her eyes.

"Mira-chan?" Lisa tears flooding down her face called out hoping for nothing more than to see her little sister again.

"Hellooo~ Everyone, the cute and adorable Mira-chan here!" The camera finally turned and everyone watching was greeted by the sight of an adorable pink skinned little girl. She had pinkish cotton candy-colored hair in a very familiar messy style. Her eyes were almost blood red with black sclera and she had on a wide toothy grin. She was wearing a dirty hoodie that was too big for her with no shoes on. Those observant could see some tossed clothes in the corner as well as a few unconscious men.

"I know, I know, I look a mess but, these creeps didn't give me time to do my makeup! Honestly, you'd think after 5 years they'd learn how to treat a lady." She huffed a little before alarms started blaring all around her.

"Oops looks like they found out. That was faster than I thought, someone must be a gamer here. Oh well, before I'm a little preoccupied I figured I should give everyone the rundown on what's happening right underneath your noses." The camera then turned and floated towards some of the vats aligning the walls. The people watching could see the ugly monsters being born in the vats, they looked grotesque with their brains exposed.

"See these ugly little critters? Yea these Villains are actually trying to use corpses to make artificial monsters! Really disgusting work don't cha think? They kidnapped me so they could make something else but I guess they weren't so successful in creating a copy of the greatness that is me!" the little girl said rather flashy despite the literal horror show behind her.

While everyone else was focusing on the news, Lisa was instead focusing on her little sister. She could tell that although the girl seemed cheerful she was barely holding on to her sanity. She could see the madness in her eyes. It hurt her to no end. Her claws manifested as she scraped her nails across the table unconsciously.

If she ever got her hands on the one responsible for this…

"HURRY UP! SHE SHOULD BE IN HERE!" It was then that another loud voice was heard nearby over the alarms. Mira looked off to the side and sighed.

"Welp it seems that's all my time. I couldn't let them keep this up ya know? Exposing the villain's plot to the world and foiling their plans is what a real Man would do!" Mira said pumping her fist in the air just like she used to.

"Hope you heroes get here soon. I'll send my little baby here outside so you can get a better view. Someone should be able to tell where this is hopefully. Don't take too long or they'll pack up and leave! Till next time~" Mira said smiling and waving as the camera started to float above her, showing that it had to be capable of flight or something.

*BOOM*

"DON'T MOVE BRAT! GET HER!" A bunch of thugs flooded the room as the camera completely unnoticed flew past them into the halls.

"HaHaHa Don't think I'm going to go without a fight!" Was the last thing they heard before explosions and zaps started fading away as the camera zoomed through the halls.

Everyone watching was stunned silent by what transpired. No one expected anything that was shown. From those interested in the mysterious creator of the world's most popular game to the few aware of her situation and what the revelations entailed. As the camera continued to zoom towards the outside, Lisa practically went catatonic as she realized her sister might not make it home after today.

XXX

Mira stretched her limbs and knocked out another one of the goons while repositioning her body to dodge the gunfire from a few others.

She didn't think she was very good at fighting yet, so she completely let her instincts take over. As she had hoped, there seemed to be some fighting knowledge included in all that information she had been given when she awakened her quirk.

She had been stuck in her Majin form ever since she got it so she was very well acquainted with its abilities. But it seems she still underestimated herself a bit. As to be expected with how great she is!

Stretching her arms again she grabbed a hold of one man's neck and pulled herself to him using the momentum she performed what she assumed to be a judo flip on him and sent him straight to the ground.

She then bent her body into a sideways U dodging the clawed fist of another thug. She wrapped her arms around his side a few times before giving a sharp tug sending him spinning a bit. Before pulling her arm in and springing it out punching him directly in the face.

*Bang*

She felt the impact before she heard the sound, not that she could hear much with the alarms still blaring. She had been shot again. It hurt. It hurt a lot. But just as soon as the pain came it was gone.

Her regeneration had been thoroughly trained over these past few years thanks to their various experiments. They seemed to be really interested in that ability of hers and they pushed it to the limits almost daily. She could now regenerate entire limbs after only a few hours. It took a lot of energy but she could fill that back up by eating a few things she transformed.

One Man breathed fire at her trying to burn her, seeing as blunt force didn't work much thanks to her elasticity, and bullets were healed too quickly to matter. Most of them didn't have very good quirks which is why they became villains but even among them, there were some that just go off on the thrill of putting people under them.

Mira noticing the fire coming at her immediately pointed at a nearby table and turned it into the hardest food she knew of katsuobushi, the hardest food in the world. It was basically just dried tuna but the thing was as hard as a brick and very flameproof.

That proved true as she blocked the flames aiming towards her with it with a glorious bang. She then broke up the pieces and started hurling them at her offenders, knocking all of them out at once.

This isn't the first group she's knocked out and she was beginning to run on fumes. She had hoped she was close to the city or somewhere easily accessible but it seems like that was too hopeful thinking.

Clap Clap Clap

A slow clap was heard coming from the corridor in front of her and she tensed up. Ever since she first met him she could always tell when the man in front of her was nearby. That was one of the reasons she sprung her plan today, she hadn't sensed him nearby.

'Come to think of it, didn't he teleport us here when we first met? Looks like I made a mistake' Mira thought about the day she was brought here. She could help but curse herself for forgetting something so crucial. This man had hundreds of quirks that he'd showcased over the years, especially that time she actually tried to fight him off during one particularly harsh experiment. He made it very clear that day that he was not to be trifled with.

She felt a small shudder go through here remembering that day as the gray-haired man spoke to her in that same calm disarming voice he always did.

"It seems you've been busy Mira-chan. I'm hurt, I thought you liked it here? Is this how you repay me for all I've done?" He said almost sarcastically, as Mira just tensed up. She knew she couldn't beat him but she would buy as much time as she could, that is until she remembered the fact that she had just forgotten.

"Why are you here? The heroes will be on the way any second now. You're through!" She started off quietly trying to remain calm but her emotions started to get the better of her. She had quickly learned over the years that starvation for her made her lose control of her rationale. Almost made her insane. She angered quickly, she lost control of her quirk, she wanted to consume those around her. It was agony, but she still didn't break. She refused to do so.

"Of course, I'm waiting for the heroes. Or more specifically, I'm waiting for my new entertainment to arrive." He said not at all caring that he was spilling his plans to the interesting girl in front of him. She truly didn't know how valuable she was to his plans.

Although he couldn't take her quirk when he tried, he had already gotten so much from her. More than she could imagine. Plans that he assumed would take decades would progress to a few years. This little stunt of hers would be a minor set back but the path has already been set for Tomura. Now he only had to wait. But why not kill some time before that.

"Now you've been naughty again, I think it's time for another punishment don't you think Mira-chan?" He gave the same sickening grin she's grown used to over the years. She knew he wouldn't let her leave without a fight. Mira was scared for her life, but she wouldn't falter. Not again. She would see her family again!

[For Safety Reason Host Will Be Put To Sleep]

[Prepare For Sleep In 6...5...4...3]

"Wait, What!?" That was all Mira got out before a wave of drowsiness overcame her and she collapsed instantly struggling to stay awake.

"Hmm, did you use too much energy? No matter, it's all the same to m- Tsk, seems like our guest has arrived," All For One said as the roof was practically torn off the building and a giant hulking man dropped from above and scooped her up.

"You did well to endure until now young Mira. But, everything is fine now. Why? Because I am here!" All Might said in all his glory but his ever-present smile that brought hope to all was replaced with a somewhat vicious-looking scowl as he looked at the black-suited man in front of him.

"All Migh-" Mira tried to get out but the sleep was too powerful and she finally collapsed in his arms not even noticing he had already taken her away from the eventual battlefield.

XXX

[a few hours later]

The battle was over. All For One had been defeated but at what cost?

All Might thought as much as he stared at the body of the headless man before him. He now had a hole where his stomach should be. He didn't think he was going to make it out of this one alive. He was at a loss. Although All For One was defeated, there would be more villains in the future. He couldn't let the symbol of peace die today. He couldn't let himself be the last user of One for All.

He looked over to where he placed the still sleeping young girl just before the battle. He had also received the notification about her going live on her channel. He had seen the look in her eyes many times before.

The girl had not believed she would make it out alive today but she still carried on with her plans nonetheless, all with a smile on her face. He could see in her eyes that she was afraid but in order to not cause a panic the girl put on a brave face and downplayed the seriousness of the things happening here.

Knowing she might not make it out alive she tried to give the heroes everything they could to fight against All For One's plans. The girl was a true hero, through and through.

With his decision made, he hobbled over to the girl clutching the hole in his body. He barely made it over to her before dropping to his knee. He hated making this decision for her instead of asking as he should, but he had heard this is how it happened for a lot of the previous users as well. To pass it on just before or after their clash with the now-deceased All For One.

He placed a drop of his blood on her tongue. As gross as it is, it was the only way. Well, he could have made her eat his hair but he wasn't sure she could swallow it in her sleep. Actually, the fact that she slept through that entire battle might be a problem. Was she even alive in the first place!?

It was at that moment the girl in question glowed a bright light, brighter than anything he had ever seen. When it died out what was left was the same girl he hoped, this time her skin no longer pink but a slightly pale cream color. Her pink hair had turned auburn and her pointed ears rounded and her tail vanished. He wondered what happened when suddenly the girl's eyes shot open and clear blue orbs that shined with intelligence beyond her years stared into his, confusion clear on her face. She then asked something that stunned him as he was blacking out,

"What's One for All?" Was the last thing he heard before blacking out. When he woke up he would be in for quite the surprise.

[a few minutes earlier]

[Commencing Memory Return]

[Return Complete]

[Welcome Host]

Mira opened her eyes back in the same white space she had been in previously all those years ago, except this time she remembered.

She remembered who she was. She remembered what she had done in the past. She remembered the friends she had made. She remembered her son and how she killed him. It was agonizing, remembering all her atrocities but perhaps because of her new life, she knew better than she did in her past one.

She knew she couldn't be blamed for those sins anymore. She knew she had been given a second chance. She shouldn't carry those burdens to this life as well. She was Mira Strassus not Android 21. Not anymore.

But that begged the question, if she used to be Android 21, who did she meet all those years ago? If it was her own self she felt like she should have remembered doing so, right? Maybe?

[Answer: System used Host's memories to form an avatar to communicate with Host to bypass system restrictions.]

The system responded with a robotic tone but she could feel something underneath all of that. She brushed it aside for the moment.

"But, why did you have to do such a thing? What was that shadow I met when I first arrived here?" Mira questioned hoping to finally get some answers to her questions. She still had nightmares about that creature even now.

[Answer: Host's body was incompatible with changes being made, thus the system decided it was best to perform countermeasures. The being Host originally encountered was your true 'Soul Form']

This answer left Mira truly shocked. That thing was her soul form? But what about her current form? Why couldn't she change back all these years? What did that thing even do to her?

[Answer: Host's current form is only a form from host's memories. The system locked Host's transformation ability to save Host's life until initialization was completed.]

Somehow the system sounded rather smug with its monotone voice as it relayed that piece of information to its host. That said Mira caught on to a small tidbit that she wasn't exactly sure about.

"But why would it only matter until after the system was installed? Aren't I still in danger?"

[...]

"Um. Hello?"

[...Truth: System was incompatible with changes to the Host's body.]

The system responded and Mira could swear she could imagine the system with a red face looking down like a scolded child.

"So let me get this straight. Because the system didn't like what changes my soul form was making, it panicked and locked me in my old form?" Mira was still pretty confused by everything

[Correct]

"What did that thing even try to do to me?" Mira reasonably questioned hoping that might shed some light on everything. She recalls through the pain that the girl seemed confused by the reaction.

[Curse of Echidna]

[Transforms target into a random monster once every hour for 24 hours]

[Time remaining: 20 hours/Error regeneration partially nullifying effect]

"Okay, I see, but why was that such a problem? Wouldn't it have just worn off in a day?"

[...System is unable to initialize unless host matches the description system was given in.]

[ ...System was also unable to understand the effects of curse while in hibernation mode.]

[...System was also denied permission to check the effects of the curse…]

"In other words, you got scared and panicked and did something unnecessary?" Mira said bluntly with a bit of a wry smile looking at the words in front of her. She more or less understood what happened now. The system needed her to be in her human form or her Majin form for her to activate but because she suddenly changed race and it didn't understand why it tried to fight off the changes for her. Doing so made the curse worse than it actually was so it forced her into her Majin form and kept her there until it could activate.

[...System asks for forgiveness]

Sounding a little less robotic and a lot more pitiful Mira couldn't help her long-forgotten motherly instincts from rising up again and wanting to comfort the system in front of her.

"Well, it's alright, isn't it? Don't worry about it, you were only doing your best, right? I believe in you." She said, trying to cheer the system up. It seemed to work because it soon returned to its slightly smug tone

[Of course! System is here to help]

"Hmm? System, is it me, or am I in a pretty bad spot right now?" Mira asked a little confused, she wasn't exactly mad at the moment but she would like some explanations.

[...Due to regeneration's effects, the Curse of Echidna is unable to activate, therefore, host is currently stuck in a state of constant near transformation. This is draining Host's Ki at an alarming rate and only regeneration is keeping host alive.]

[Due to regeneration being constantly active, host is suffering from regeneration fatigue.]

"Hmm, I see. Then wouldn't it be fixed if I were to un-transform and go back to being human?" She asked the most logical question yet. Even if she had to be a different race for a few hours she'd be fine after right?

[...Host is suffering from Ki deficiency. If Host were to transform now, Host would not have energy left to survive…]

Mira wanted to sigh. This didn't seem very good at all. Basically, if she were to undo her transformation now, she'd die as soon as the curse took effect.

"Is there any way to raise my Ki levels quickly then? I'm not too keen on dying after finally getting my memories back. Plus my family must be worried sick by now." Mira thought about her two siblings and knew they would be beside themselves with worry right now. In fact, shes sure her brother is already on his way here, though she had no idea how long she's been unconscious. He might already be with her right now.
