A LIVE HORSE

Yeon Jin wore a black long robe with a hood and waited for Beric. The sun was already setting, yet he had to wait for Beric to get ready.

"How long does it take to put on a simple robe?" He complained and went to the door, with the aim of barging into Beric's room to hurry him up.

But the moment he opened the door, he collided with Beric's chest.

"Oof." He exclaimed and rubbed his nose, looking up at an expressionless Beric. "What took you so long?"

Beric remained silent and entered his room.

"Hey, let's go already. What are you still looking for?" Yeon Jin asked, following him into the room.

"Take this." Beric tossed a gem towards Yeon Jin and he caught it.

"What is this?"

"You'll know once the time comes." Beric said. "Hold on to it and don't forget to yell my name."

Yeon Jin was lost. Why would he need to yell his name?

Beric didn't look like he was going to explain further so he kept the gem with his words in mind.
