And where we met

From the counter I heard a heavy but a very attractive masculine voice.I turned around,5.6 feet boy with a dark brown skin colour and heavy eyebrows was standing in front of me.He was wearing a dark blue shirt and a brown pants.I didn't notice his shoes but the least I remember is he was wearing a sandel whose strips were not even buckled up.He asked me to reissue a book.He slides a book on the counter table .I started writing on the Library card when I noticed that the guy was continuously looking at me.I made an eye contact with him and started continuing my work.I returned him the book with a smile as it was a part of my job while he was still looking at me.

It was a hot summer of June.I Was busy with organizing books and cleaning up the shelves when I noticed the same guy sitting in the front table.It was Monday and I had alot of work to do in the library because of the weekend. I was so busy with my work that I didn't even notice him.At 4,when I was done with my work I looked again for that guy.At that time,he had left.I don't know why was I taking interest in that person.Just because I have nothing much to do in the library.It's been 2 weeks and I've not seen him.I got up at 7 ,had my breakfast and left for the library.I was busy working in my counter as usual when I saw my friend coming to me.

Rose:Hey Laila.

Hey.!

I saw an envelope in her hand.I asked her what's that for.She replied I have to reorganized that west book shelve but the problem is I've to leave as I've to check on my mother in the hospital.Are you gonna help me? .

I said;Yah why not.Let me just finished with my work.Rose replied with handing over the envelope to me.I opened the envelope after Rose left .At the top the name of the library was mentioned with its locality.I read all the instructions and the pattern according to which all the books should be organized in the shelve.I grabbed my coffee and started walking upstairs.At first it seems so easy but the thing got real hard for me when I was done with the last rows and I have to organized the upper rows.I started looking for something on which I can stand to reach out there.My eyes were twirling around the corridor when my stare immediately stopped at the iron stairs.I dragged the stairs towards the position I want it to be.The first row was at 8 feets height.I lifted 6 books at once with me at the top.I stepped to reach out there when I felt It was not my kind of job.I looked down to measure the height.At first I lost my breath and I could feel the saliva getting thick in my throat.I looked up again.I closed my eyes and started talking to myself.

ok Laila you have to do this you can do this.

I successfully placed two books to their place when I felt that I've loosen my balance.The iron stair lost its balance as I was so nervously moving back forth on it to reach to the shelves.I fall down on the floor with books.I closed my eyes when it all happened like It can help me to get out of this.I felt I didn't reach the ground and had my bones fractured.I opened my eyes and saw that guy holding me.His eyes widen with a smile on his face.

Are you ok?

I said, nervously Yeah.I just don't know what happened to me.The stairs lost its balance.Actually I don't want to show him how frightened I was out there at the top.

He laughed.

He dropped me down on my feets.I was still embarrassed I literally don't want him to see me in such situation

.I immediately rushed to pick up my books when I felt I ain't able to walk as I had my ankle twisted badly.I was about to fall on my back when he grabbed me from my back.I think you need a check up.He said like he was really concerned.I don't want to make him feel like I'm a stupid or he thinks that how big fool am I.

I turned to him and said.I'll be ok.but soon I realized I wouldn't be able to go back home.

you need a treatment if you don't want to get in trouble He said while he was holding my hand.I looked at him as I wasn't able to go to the doctor on my own for a check up.

Let's go to the hospital in my car from where I will leave you to your home.I was looking at him when he pull me into his arms without waiting for my response and rushed towards the parking lot.
