17 16- The end

NARRATOR

Rick's family received a call from their lawyer . He said , Rick had left back a big sum of money for his mother , fiance avi and his kid .

he also have gifted joe with some Bitcoins he had invested in the past . he also hereby grant the responsibility of maintaining the care center , Rick built for kids , pets and old people to his family .

No one had any idea Rick had planned so much about the future .

it was even more saddening that his absence made the house feel dead , even with abundance and things enough .

An year later , as avi looked at the teenage pictures of Rick and herself . There was a little baby sleeping on her arms . avi Hugged him as she missed the presence of Rick . Every one had named the kid , Jacob .

Jacob was the only thing that had kept avi alive . He resembled Rick so much , he had similar hazel eyes . long curly hair , long face and a cute little smile . Jacob was just 6 months old when his uncle Joe got married to his secret girlfriend he had since school , pooja .

she loved Jacob as much as avi did . As Jacob grew up , avi's mental health become better .

living with Rick's mom was a therapy it self . she was the most understanding and strong women , avi had ever meet .

An a year and a half later , Jacob was joined by pavitra his sister and Joe's daughter .

Their life recovered and had got better .

it was the best ending but we never know how it would have ended otherwise .

well as I completed the book and showed my daughter its first copy .

she sat down at the old broken bridge and read the whole .

she turned to me and smiled . Jacob was now 5 years old . he got out of our car and hugged his mom sitting on the bridge .
