Now, Lei was humming a cheerful tune, arm-in-arm with Sebastian, as they walked down the hall. They were going to announce their cancelation in front of the whole kingdom, and, harebrained as she was, had told Christopher to wait at the front with a horse. She sang a few lines,

"The sun is warm, and the water is clear, so let's jump in together my love"

She was wearing a large, fluffy white dress, which almost looked like a wedding dress, but it was abnormally plain for a royal. Just layers and waterfalls of fabric - no jewels, silk, or delicate lace. Around her neck was a simple red ruby necklace.

"You look stunning today, Lei," Sebastian said, still looking ahead, and Lei giggled. Somehow such a simple dress suited her much more than piles of gold and silver. "Yes, Don't I? It's my last day here, so I picked my outfit for once." Lei sighed dreamily, and Sebastian made a face.

"Sebas! Don't!" Lei protested, and Sebastian burst out laughing. "Alright, alright. I won't. Just make sure to write to me, okay?" Lei smiled and patted his arm. "Of course I will!"

And with that, Sebastian held open the door and followed her into the royal terrace.
