He hid the stars and only released his Qi Condensation Stage 9 Aura and was accepted to take the Sect Examination. Being at the 9th stage at 15 years old wasn't bad but wasn't at the genius level either so they didn't pay much attention to him.

This time it was Huo Yun's turn, he wanted to do good enough to be recognized and allowed to go to the skills easier but didn't want too much attention so he pulled back his power and punched the bells.
