After the meeting ended all the three clan members walked to their respective homes, with bright smiles.

All of them were only thinking about one thing and that was to pass the trials and become more powerful, the passion inside their hearts that they had hidden deeply inside we're again burning.

Huang Shen was also back in his room as he was looking at the full Moon outside the window, his mood was little disturbed.

The news of forbidden ground was a shock for him as he was thinking about his family, if it opens and some powerful beast or demon enters the continent, then it will be a chaos all over, even if they get the chance to get the treasure from inside the Forbidden Ground, what's the point of it if you don't have anything and anyone left alive to see.

Midnight was slowly approaching as the silver sheen of the moonlight was directly falling on him from the window, some times the gentle breeze accompanied by the faint sound of wind chimes also come inside the room making his mood calm.

After calming down a little he started conversing with system again.

'So system is there's a reason for you to conduct a trial, or is it just for fun? '

He was little confused as he didn't know the reason about the trials system wanted to conduct, which was currently becoming the hot topic inside the Azure Dragon Continent.

[Everything system does has a certain reason behind it, as system is also a living being it also needs to collect good karma to get more powerful, and the best way to do that is to provide, to give a hope to everyone to survive.]

He again calmed down as he heard that he might be able to delay it further.

'Hey system, let's refine those corpses now.'

[To refine those corpses you need to go on the creation menu.

There will be Refining options available.

You just need to open it and enter the amount of corpses and the amount of CP required for the task.

And leave the rest up to the system.]

'You mean I don't have to do anything, and you will do the refining for me?'

[You have 2 options to do a certain task, first is to do it by yourself and second is to let the system do it, but you have to pay for the work.]

[And since Host does not know how to Refine anything, you only have second option.]

Sighing lightly he asked the system to show him the panel.

A golden colour screen appeared in front of him which showed many option, ignoring other options he opened the creation menu, where options like Pill refining, Soul refining, Demon refining, Beast refining, Haven and Earth refining, Corpse refining and many other types of refining were available.

He was little shocked to see all types of options available, he selected the Corpse refining.

As he selected the Corpse refining he disappeared from his room and taken to an unknown open place, where skies we're filled with blood coloured clouds, far off you can see mountain ranges which emitted a heavy pressure.

It felt like he will be crushed at any given time.

He was little shocked to see a scene like this, the whole world felt like filled with blood.

'System where are we, and why did you take me here, we were about to refining the corpse right?'

He was little tensed as he clearly felt like someone or something was watching him.

[Host does not need to worry, we are still in the same world, and are here to refine the corpse.]

'Then why doesn't it feel like it, if we are in the same world and how are we going to refine those corpse here.?'

[System selected the best option to refine those corpses, as refining takes to much energy and time.

I selected a place which already had the formation and energy required to refine is almost Nil.]

'So you will do this every time I selected you to do something?'

[It depends if there is another best option available.]

He sighed and only wished that there won't be any problem.

'So what now, how do we start?'

[Go towards the Mountain ranges, there you will find a Big Red coloured Altar and a Circular Formation drawn in front of it.

And be careful and do not entre the formation.]

'Damn, what is the point in even selecting you, if I have to do everything?'

He wanted to curse loudly because system is putting him in these kinds of unknown situations.

He carefully looked around any to see endless fields full of red coloured grasses, even the flowers we're I the different shades of red.

But for some reason he kind of found it beautiful.

He started walking towards the mountains which were about 2 miles away from his place.

The more he walked the more he felt this place was little weird, as he wasn't even able to see a single living creature not even a insect.

'Hey it won't be dangerous right?'

[Do not worry about it, it won't be dangerous as system will be protecting you, it's just that you still need to be a little careful so we can do the refining without any difficulties.]

'If I knew it earlier I would have at least brought Old Chang with me.'

'Sigh'

He was kind of getting confused, so he decided to leave everything on the system.

He had walked for fifteen minutes until he arrived an the foot of the mountains.

As he was now standing on a cemented ground which was giving of an strange vibe, at the centre of the cemented area, he found a 20 feet tall altar.

Standing Majestically and from time to time it glowed with red light accompanied by the strange thumping sound, kind of felt like a heartbeat.

He kind of wanted to see what's inside the altar creating the strange thumping sound but decided against it, as he kind of remembers the scary Movies from his past life where the idiot follow the sound only to get stabbed by the ghost.

'So what do we do now?'

In a small cramped space, where even light do not reach, a dried up corpse of a Human was placed in the middle as he was chained by countless black chains.

It was a mystery why he was bounded by this damned thing, and who he was, or is he even alive?

The wall all around was covers with many strange words and formations, which glowed in Red light time to time.

Suddenly, the eyes of the corpse opened as it looked towards a certain direction.

What he saw was a little boy, around 5 years of age who appeared suddenly out of no where.

'Strange, since when the little kids started teleporting, and what's more this little guy is only a mortal.'

'How did a Mortal get here?'

He was kind of wishing for someone who can release him from this damned place, but seeing this kid he was disappointed.

'How many time has passed since I was stuck to this damned place?'

He saw the little kid started moving towards him as he looked around time after time like he was searching for something.

He watched every thing the kid was doing with a little interest.

Until he saw the harmless looking kid taking out the corpses of various cultivators.

He knows what the kid was about to do, and was shocked and started laughing.

'Ha.. Ha. Hahaha'

'This kid wants to refine those corpses in the Heavenly Formation set up for those old fools to refine the Alchemy pills.'

'it would be great to see the faces of those arrogant Elders.'
