Lily's hand blurred and with a slap, she struck an acupoint behind her friend's head causing the latter to faint. Khan gasped, while the young woman underneath him struggled intensely.

Lily carried her friend and placed her on a chair, her cold look momentarily glanced at Khan before her hands, once again blurred, sending the struggling young woman into unconsciousness.

Khan slowly stood up, he didn't even look at the beauty that laid on the ground for his eyes stared at Lily with a worried expression. The latter noticed his stare and retorted with a frosty look,

"Do you mind explaining to me what happened here or do you want me to assume what happened?"

Khan awkwardly scratched his head before honestly explaining about what exactly transpired.

In the end, the cold and distant look from Lily's expression disappeared and the light that came from her eyes when she stared at the young woman became somewhat gentle that Khan couldn't help but comment at the side.

"Why do I feel like you're like a mother."

"Is she your friend?" Khan glanced at the young woman that laid on the table.
