9 Tribulation Trial

Everyone present turned to look at Rury after she cursed the Patriarch of the Phoenix faction's grandson.

"RURY YOU B**CH YOU DARE CURSE MY GRANDSON, IT SEEMS YOU NEED TO BE DISCIPLINED" Feng Fai angrily shouted.

"TO INJURE ME BECAUSE I TOLD YOU YOUR GRANDSONS FUTURE, YOU SHOULD THANK ME, INSTEAD YOU BREAKING TRADITION, AREN'T YOU AFRAID OF THE FACTION OVERTHROWING YOU" Rury shouted angrily

"I MAKE THE RULES, I AM THE PATRIARCH AND IF ANYONE DARES TO REBEL, I'LL KILL THEM" Feng Fai menacingly glanced at the crowd, even his son couldn't utter a word.

"YOUR NOT EVEN GOING TO RESPECT OUR AGREEMENT" Rury shouted demonstrating that she didn't fear the Patriarch.

"THOSE OUTSIDERS ARE AS GOOD AS DEAD BESIDES I'M NOT GOING TO KILL YOU, ONLY CRIPPLE YOU" the Patriarch attacked her after he finished shouting.

Before the Patriarch could reach Rury, he felt his chest being slammed by something hard causing his chest to cave in. The Patriarch was sent flying at an astonishing speed.

The Patriarch crashed into an invisible wall before he landed causing him to fall unconscious with blood flowing out of his seven orifices. The Patriarch laid unconscious barely breathing.

Everyone stared at the figure that almost killed  the Patriarch in one punch.

"I believe I've told all of you there is no fighting allowed in the arena" The figure coldly stared at them floating in air.

The figure vanished after his warning.

Everyone stared fearfully at the spot where figure vanished. No one dared to take advantage of the Patriarch's condition and were silent.

"I guess the real b**ch is you" Rury cursed at the Patriarch while everyone was still dazed with fear.

"T-the Black Market owner, h-he's at the fifth rite of the Core Perception realm" the Anomoly Patriarch announced.

Everyone was shocked. After the Foundation realm is the Core Perception realm. All Patriarch's are at the first rite of the Core Perception realm, but never progressed further. Hearing that the Black Market owner was close to entering the Incarnation realm which is above the Core Perception realm left them fearful.

Rury didn't care much, she was more worried about Ning Fan.

"Please make it out safely" Rury gently whispered as she prayed.

The moment that Ning Fan was transported,

Ning Fan and Yu Lin were on guard observing any movement in their surroundings. There was nothing in their view besides soil extending as far as their eyes could see. There were orbs of light in the air a hundred meters apart from each other, a thousand meters from the ground. Illuminating their surroundings.

A few seconds later Ning Fan felt his hair tingling. Without a second delay Ning Fan's face became solemn as he turned around and grabbed Yu Lin's arm and threw her in the air away from him.

RUMBLE!!!

A bright flash of light came down from the sky and struck Ning Fan. The shockwaves pounded Ning Fan heavily and sent Yu Lin flying farther.

Ning Fan's body managed to barely withstand the shockwaves, the shockwaves and voltage were much stronger than that from Earth's. If someone that wasn't a cultivator would have died from the voltage.

"System is there any way to resist the lightning strikes and shockwaves if so display a holographic image to me." Ning Fan quickly shouted in his head.

The System displayed a holographic image of how to circulate the lightning to improve his body's internal organs, enlarging his meridian's and use the shockwaves to increase his bodies durability and strength.

Ning Fan quickly glanced at it and memorized it. While the lightning didn't strike yet Ning Fan spotted Yu Lin running towards him.

Yu Lin quickly closed the distance and stood beside Ning Fan.

"Yu Lin sprawl on the ground a hundred meters away from me, lightning strikes the closest object connecting to the ground" Ning Fan instructed Yu Lin.

"We will share the burden and endure this together" Yu Lin stared at him with determination and held his hand.

Ning Fan knew he couldn't quickly convince Yu Lin since she is stubborn. Ning Fan quickly drew on the soil the circulation method he learned a moment ago.

"I just recalled a method to resist the lightning strikes, memorize this quickly." Ning Fan explained.

Yu Lin didn't speak she took one glance to learn the circulation method. Most of the technique's involved in the circulation she already understood, so she didn't need much effort to learn this.

The next moment the lightning stroke harder than the first time. They circulated their Qi following the method they just learned. After the strike ended their bodies became more durable. The lightning strikes kept striking them with even more ferocity than the last, this lasted for an hour.

Ning Fan's and Yu Lin's body reached new heights. Their bodies from before were incomparable than now.

"Is this challenge over?" Yu Lin asked.

The next second fire scorched the ground as if answering her question. Yu Lin was calm and turned to Ning Fan.

"Follow this circulation method it's a secret circulation arts from the royal family." Yu Lin explained to him as she handed him a book.

Ning Fan nodded and glanced through the circulation method. Ning Fan quickly tried the circulation a few times.

"System display to me a holographic image of the circulation technique." Ning Fan quickly asked the System.

A holographic image appeared in front of Ning Fan. Ning Fan quickly understood and started circulating it. Seeing that Ning Fan managed to quickly understand the contents she was shocked. She looked away focusing on her cultivation, she had no time to be surprised.

The cultivation method strengthened and enlarged their meridian's and blood vessels as well as removing any impurities in their body clearing them of any dregs. Their bodies were also strengthened from the cultivation method causing their bodies to exponentially increase once more.

"Is it over this time" Ning Fan asked after enduring the scorching flames for an hour.

As if answering his question too, the gravity around them increased. Even with their newfound strength they could barely stand. Their current strength is enough to challenge someone in the third rite of the Nascent realm.

"Let's us this time to break through" they both conversed in unison.

They both nodded and started cultivating, after experiencing the past two tribulations they both gained a newfound understanding allowing them to breakthrough. In ten minutes Ning Fan broke through first into the fifth rite of the Metamorphosis realm. Ning Fan didn't stop he stripped himself, walked ten meters away from Yu Lin and consumed several Spirit pellets.

Ning Fan started cultivating again until he reached his bottleneck after twenty minutes. Ning Fan used the excess energy to repair his body, at the same time Yu Lin broke through to the Nascent realm. Yu Lin started began to stabilize her realm.

Ning Fan got up after a minute and started training under the intense gravity while using the excess energy to repair his micro-tears. After twenty minutes his excess energy ran out and he could comfortably walk, run, and fight in the gravity. Ning Fan washed himself with the water he stored as well as some soap and other cleaning supplies.

Yu Lin awoke ten minutes later after stabilizing her realm. If Yu Lin didn't quickly stabilize her realm, and she received a severe injury, her future cultivation could be affected.

The next second the gravity returned to normal, Ning Fan was all dressed and closed the distance to Yu Lin.

After one minute on guard they felt as if they had sunk into the lowest depths of the ocean causing their bodies and internal organs to face extreme pressure.

With their current physique Ning Fan could challenge someone in the fifth rite of Nascent realm with his abundant Qi from the enlargement of his meridian's and his incomparable strength in his realm.

Yu Lin entered the Nascent realm but she only knew a few Martial Techniques that couldn't help her out. She could only rely on her abundant Qi and strength which was comparable to Ning Fan, she only had more abundant Qi.

When one enters Nascent realm they can use Martial Techniques to create a phenomenon, this helps increase the explosive strength or directly attack the internal organs, etc. This is only limited within one's body until they reach Ming realm which allows energy to travel out the body.

Ning Fan learned this from Yu Lin and Rury, from the time at the one week training. Rury also demonstrated this to him first hand and taught him a few techniques so he understood once he broke through into the Nascent realm.

He also knew once one makes a breakthrough into the Nascent realm, their body becomes baptized by the world's essence energy, giving them a clear grasp of the energy and how to manipulate it throughout their body. Their soul is also able to absorb different energies and use them. An example would be when Ning Fan's soul was receiving memories but his soul couldn't absorb them so they were rejected.

Before the tournament started,

"Super Great Grandpa if you really choose to leave me with someone from this, the tournaments difficulty must at least be able to challenge even Nascent realm cultivator's. You live until your a thousand years old, your six-hundred and fifty years old you still got time to wait." An enchanting beauty with Raven colored hair, ample breast, skin as beautiful as a jade, and a willowy figure more enchanting than Rury's with an appearance of someone in their early twenties.

"I need to go on a journey to break through into the Incarnation realm, finding you a dependable companion to take care of you is essential. With my ring it can identify the person's character, if the person has ill intent they will die, if not then they won't die from the ring. You're already forty years old and in the fourth rite of the Foundation realm, you need to leave this place to continue advancing." A middle-aged man with excellent bearings emphasized.

"As long as they can survive the highest difficulty. You choose two teams I'll choose three to endure the tribulations, that's ten people in total I will make sure there is at least one male that way you won't call me unfair and if one of the teams somehow pull it off they still have to resist the onslaught of the other teams." The enchanting woman made the rules.

The middle-aged man nodded and called his assistants to bring in the participants from the four factions.

The eighty participants walked into the arena. The middle-aged man pointed at two teams one from the Phoenix faction and the other from the Anomaly faction.

The enchanting beauty pointed at males with the fourth rite of Metamorphosis realm, one from the Giant faction, another from the Gemanite faction, and the last one from the Phoenix faction's group, he has a handsome figure with glossy black hair and his partner is a peerless beauty with crimson colored hair and eyes only a member of the Royal family can possess. The figure was Ning Fan and Yu Lin.

"I doubt the member of the Anomaly faction can pull it off, the second to last stage has to do with their bodies getting crushed inward by the gravities pressure, he'll be too exhausted even if he breaks through to the next realm to resist." the enchanting beauty predicted.

The middle-aged man didn't say anything they both watched. The middle-aged man noticed a disturbance in the outer area of the arena.

"Someone dares to violate the rules I set in place." the middle-aged man furrowed his brows.

The middle-aged man used the formation to teleport to the outer area of the arena. The middle-aged man easily resolved the issue and returned.

A few hours later four participants are still alive from the highest difficulty.

"My youngest Great Great... Granddaughter you sure have keen eyes your chosen participant is in the fifth rite of the Metamorphosis realm now and he's able to freely move in the gravitational field" The middle-aged man complimented.

"This. Is it possible for him to survive this?" The enchanting beauty stared incredulously at Ning Fan's nude body while he was bathing himself.

"I feel that my internal organs will be crushed at this rate, wait maybe, System..." Ning Fan asked

Ning Fan's lip curled upwards. If this worked both of them could survive.

"Yu Lin I have a solution I need you to learn two Martial Techniques one of them involves..." Ning Fan told Yu Lin.
