Ten Years ago
" Big bro Fan plea~~~se it's just in California, it's not that dangerous either it's only an abandoned mine." Ning Yue pouting.
"That's what I mean it's too far from New York and you could get hurt" Ning Fan scolded
" Hehehe... Don't worry about that I already have the money" Ning Yue bragged.
"That's not the point, I'm worried you'll get hurt" Ning Fan sighed
"Hehehe... are you worried about me. I know you'll protect me so why should I be afraid" Ning Yue patted her chest confidently.
"Of course I'm worried about you, that's why I don't want to take you" Ning Fan sincerely replied.
"Plea~~~~se, if not I'll sneak out" Ning Yue slyly pointed out.
"Why do you ask me then?" Ning Fan asked.
"It isn't much of an adventure if you can't share it with the one you love" Ning Yue coyly smiled.
"Alright, I love you too, otherwise I wouldn't go" Ning Fan agreed while patting her head.
"Yes, I knew you wouldn't refuse, papa and mama shouldn't be back till next week from their business trip, it's enough time to explore the mine." Ning Yue triumphantly smiled.
"Okay but make sure they don't notice if not they'll yell at me again." Ning Fan added on.
"Alright but after we come back you have to take me take me to the zoo, movies, restaurant and let me sleep with you" Ning Yue added her own conditions.
"Isn't that too many and I've told you I'm too old for that" Ning Fan refuted.
"Alright then movies and you have to let me use your arm as a pillow" Ning Yue renegotiated.
"Alright. Why can't you just give me the benefit without the conditions" Ning Fan reluctantly agreed and asked.
"Nothing is this world is free and I'm teaching you this, you should be thankful" Ning Yue replied.
"Sounds more like an excuse to get what you want." Ning Fan remarked.
"Of course otherwise you wouldn't give me an arm pillow" Ning Yue honestly agreed.
Ning Fan and Ning Yue set off to the airport.
Although they were underage they were used to hiding their age and doing a full body make-over on each other. As well as bypassing all security checks.
Ning Yue already booked a flight for two. Ning Fan realized he really has no say when his sister wants something.
They soon arrived at the airport where they called for a transportation vehicle service. It didn't take them long to arrive at the Cilico Ghost town.
Ning Fan and Ning Yue toured the towns. Ning Yue was bored and the tours weren't all that amazing.
"Now it's time for the fun" Ning Yue smirked.
"Alright I'm guessing everything we need is in your backpack?" Ning Fan asked.
"Yup" Ning Yue Smirked wider.
There were several mines that were off limits because of it's lethal nature.
Ning Fan and Ning Yue headed into a random mine they ran into after sneaking into the dangerous area. Ning Fan killed any wild snake they came across along the way with the throwing knives Ning Yue brought.
"This mine looks like it could collapse" Ning Fan pointed out.
"Of course otherwise how will we enjoy ourselves if it just snakes, plus I heard the more dangerous it is the more people can have a deeper bond with each other" Ning Yue agreed.
"Can you move the light a little more to the right" Ning Fan asked.
Ning Yue moved her flashlight to the right and they spotted a mine cart. Ning Yue smirked. Ning Fan wanted to run away but before he could his sister dragged him over.
The cart's rusted, but could still move. Ning Yue added a spray to remove the rust on the wheels. The rail was half broken this allowed the cart to move without the restrictions of the machines.
Ning Fan was forced into the cart by his little sister. They were moving at forty miles per hour once the cart picked up speed. It didn't take long to reach the end of the mine.
Ning Yue took out a few of her tools. She started spreading a sticky fluid onto the wheels of the cart, attached a parachute and ate some popcorn while waiting for the cart to stop.
Ning Yue was already used to adventures and could spot dangers or be able to identify different things and situations from little details that nobody could notice.
After the cart stopped they reached the end of the railway. Ning Yue's eyes became bright.
"Come quick over here!" Ning Yue excitedly yelled.
Ning Fan followed after her. After ten meters of walking they soon reached their destination.
Ning Yue took out her modified drill and safety goggles. She started digging, after two hours of digging they stumbled upon a well kept book in a natural small pit.
"Let's see what the book says" Ning Yue smiled.
The book was filled with ancient text. After trying to read it for a while they gave up. The book had drawings of a human practicing Martial arts. The book also had several dots on the human body and images of certain organs like the heart, liver, etc. The arrows pointed to other dots connecting them but they didn't know what this meant.
After that they continued exploring and found some rare crystals they never seen which made them full of energy and an earring. The earring gave off a relaxing sensation that made one feel more keen and observant.After exploring the mine for a day they left.
All their findings were stored in Ning Yue's backpack. Ning Yue had already booked a flight heading back to New York in three days.
"Although I said I could get an arm pillow when we get back, can you give me one every night till we get home" Ning Yue pouted.
Ning Yue rented out a hotel and slept together with Ning Fan.
"Alright, as long as you don't run off till we get back" Ning Fan added.
Ning Yue nodded and she cozily slept on her brother's arm.
Before they got back to New York they sold one of the crystals that had the least value and used it to eat in an expensive restaurant, visit the zoo, watch a movie in the theaters, and enjoy themselves in the amusement park.
Ning Fan realized that she already planned everything before they got here. Ning Fan felt helpless against his sister's calculative mind.
He always helped physically, but mentally she didn't need anyone's help, she was the most ingenius person he knew.
After they got back from their trip to Cilico Ghost town. They went for round two but this time he was paying.
