11 Nascent realm

The Golems were five foot eight, running straight for them. Ning Fan stood firm with Yu Lin behind him. It only took a fraction of a second before they were in front of them. The Golems aimed straight for their heart and head.

RUMBLE!

The whole ground shook, before the Golems could land a hit they lost their balance. Unlike the Golems, Ning Fan and Yu Lin weren't moving and had a sturdy foundation, so they weren't affected. When the Golems lost balance they were right in front of them, defenceless.

SLASH!

Yu Lin used her powerful heirloom sword and slashed sideways cutting them cleanly in half. She didn't stop their she used every ounce of energy she had and followed up with another sideways slash aiming for their heads.

SLASH!

Their cores were both destroyed, and the two Golem's collapsed. Yu Lin was to exhausted to stand on her feet and fell. Yu Lin was heavily panting, nearly passing out.

Meanwhile Ning Fan launched a roundhouse kick. Ning Fan kicked through the chest of the first Golem destroying it's core. Ning Fan's kick continued sideways to the next Golem, but the velocity of his kick decreased and only formed a crack on it's body, causing it to land fifty meters away.

The Golem's body was quickly recovering. Ning Fan didn't wait he took in a deep breath. Ning Fan's body became baptized by the world's essence energy as he breathed in the energy course throughout his blood vessels, meridian's, lower Dan Tien, and out through his body as he breathed out.

Ning Fan didn't notice this and sprinted straight for the golem, Ning Fan's speed was astonishing, his speed reached one-thousand eight-hundred feet per second.

Taking a fraction of a second to reach the Golem. Immediately after he launched punches consecutively until their was nothing, but pebbles left, as soon as he finished he successfully reached the Nascent realm.

Since Ning Fan was baptized with energy some of his Qi recovered.

Ning Fan sprinted next to Yu Lin. Yu Lin was holding a pellet, but couldn't move into her mouth. Ning Fan helped her sit straight then fed her the pellet.

A second later, an array appeared below them teleporting them to the outer area of the arena.

Ning Fan cautiously looked around while Yu Lin was still recovering her Qi.

Before Ning Fan could react or see who it was, he was firmly gripped restraining him from doing anything, a second later he felt a soft sensation on his lips.

Rury's emotions became unstable, as soon as she saw Ning Fan, she urged her Qi and sprinted at the fastest speed possible.

Tears fell from her eyes as she kissed Ning Fan.

Rury wiped the tears from her eyes, "I missed you"

Ning Fan was relieved, witnessing her incredible speed, Ning Fan realized she broke through, Ning Fan trained with Rury so he understood her speed. He also understood to break through she must've faced a lot of challenges. Ning Fan felt touched from the bottom of his heart because he knew if she faced any challenges it had to be because of him.

"Thank you, I'm sorry for worrying you, also next time your troubled don't carry it all on your own" Ning Fan leaned forward and kissed her.

Rury closed her eyes and loosened her grip. Ning Fan then held her tightly. Ning Fan couldn't hold his emotions in. When Rury cried he couldn't hold his feelings toward her. This was the first time he felt closely connected to anyone, his heart shook, his emotions stirred. This time Ning Fan truly fell in love with Rury.

She's done so much for nothing in return, she told him everything, and loved him. Ning Fan never disliked her and was fond of Rury, during the one week training their relationship improved and he learned more about her childhood, they were also intimate. This heart stirring moment was the final ripple that caused the dam in his heart to fall apart and flood him.

Rury was also the closest person to Ning Fan besides his sister.

Yu Lin stared at them and understood everything that happened until now within the Phoenix faction was because of their relationship.

Yu Lin was a little irritated, "We got to recover are strength as fast as possible, the arena shook and the tournament stopped there might be danger"

Ning Fan realized it was not time to become emotional. He let go of Rury and gently caressed her face.

Rury knew he needed to recover so she handed Ning Fan two of her completed Spirit pellets and another to Yu Lin. Rury could create a variety of pellets with different effects, but she mainly focused in condensing Essence Qi into a pellet to break through into Spirit grade Alchemist.

Ning Fan received a message from the system.

[The Essence Qi I much more pure and contains barely any dregs]

Before Ning Fan could ask what's going on the System responded

[Since you made a breakthrough into the Nascent realm I was merged as a branch of your power and can assist you while you think]

Ning Fan was surprised that meant the system would respond without having to ask anymore.

Ning Fan was excited, he turned to Rury, "You're truly amazing you managed to become a Spirit grade Alchemist"

Rury coyly smiled and nodded. Yu Lin was surprised, in her Kingdom Spirit pills are lucky encounters, for someone to become a Spirit Alchemist would mean they could become more influencial than the king.

A moment later, an old familiar man runs straight towards Ning Fan and stops three meters away on one knee bowing his head

"Young Master it's a relief you're still alive, I've received information a foreign threat is making it's way through to the Celestial Kingdom with unfathomable powers, from what we know they are looking for a treasure within the central area of our Continent and they call our Continent the "Lost Continent", we need to head back and retreat as soon as possible, I brought your sword here" the old man pulled out a sword holding it with both hands above his head.

Ning Fan was surprised, a second later Phoex appeared.

"I believe the foreign threat is already here, otherwise who could cause this formation to shake, I believe that even the owner of the Formation couldn't cause such formidable tremors to his own Formation even if he wanted to." Phoex solemnly said.

Everyone within the outer arena began to panic and some shouted with disbelief, Phoex ignored all of them and exhorted Ning Fan to prepare.

Ning Fan nodded and held his own sword he left in his room. Ning Fan remembered that this sword was purchased in the Black Market, he was curious to see if this sword has any significance.

[The sword seems to possess an ancient and powerful Qi, it holds some mysterious secrets judging from how the Qi fluctuates]

Ning Fan smiled, it appears that the dead Ning Fan had some amazing luck. Old Tong took out a belt sash and a new set of clothes with armor for Ning Fan.

Ning Fan realized that all his dregs seeped out into his clothes. Although the stench wasn't unbearable it still smelled awful.

Ning Fan changed in front of everyone, both Yu Lin and Rury were staring intensely at Ning Fan while he changed. Ning Fan finished dressing himself and tied the sash around him, equipping his sword.

The armor was crimson red and thin. Although the armor was thin it was extremely sturdy. It covered his body from neck down, and in the middle it bore the insignia of the Royal Family, proving he was a knight of the Royal family. Since this is war time and Ning Fan is the son of a Great General, Old Tong was instructed to hand this to Ning Fan.

Ning Fan immediately consumed a Spirit pill and started speedily recovering his Qi.

During the tremor,

The Palace in Central Area of the arena,

"Who could have such terrifying powers?" the middle-aged man solemnly asked

"This power wouldn't this be at the Incarnation realm" the enchantress paled.

"Use the Formation to teleport to the outer arena where the four factions reside, grab your things quickly" the middle-aged man exhorted her.

The enchantress nodded and left.

The middle-aged man teleported above the arena, but still within the Formation.

The ceiling above the arena was gone. The ceiling in this sewer that can nullify any attack below the Core Perception realm now had a hole tearing half of the ceiling apart.

A minute later, two figures gradually descended. Outside above the ceiling was an army of around five-hundred people, the lowest cultivation base was at the Ming realm and they only made a twentieth of it, most of them were either at the Aperture realm or the Foundation realm.

If this army clashes with the four factions and the middle-aged man it will become bloody. The middle-aged man solemnly stared at the two figures.

"That's a sturdy Formation this won't be easy, I suggest you willingly stretch your neck out or else your death will be more painful. I'm known as the strongest Pirate Captain around this sea. Hmm... your the strongest cultivator I met, do you perhaps know anything about the treasure hidden here." asked the Pirate Captain.

The middle-aged man eyes opened wide and then shook his head.

The Pirate Captain wasn't ignorant and noticed the middle-aged man's reaction.

"I will let you live if you tell me everything you know, I give you my pride as a Pirate Captain." The Captain solemnly offered.

"A pirates pride is as cheap as mud. How will I know you'll keep your pride?" the middle-aged man asked.

"You're mocking my pride as a Pirate Captain I revoke my offer, I will kill you in the most painful way while extracting everything you know!" the Pirate Captain angrily shouted, "Vara I'll take care of this deadman while you lead the others to massacre everyone inside"

Vara nodded, she signaled everyone to attack. Every one of them either flew or used a treasure to slow their descent.

"Captain are you sure we shouldn't wait for the others" Vara asked.

Without responding he flew into the Formation and began fighting. Vara knew she couldn't convince her Captain, Vara is at the third rite of the Core Perception realm and is hesitant to attack.

"If the leader is nearing the Incarnation realm surely their must be other experts there." Vara thought.

Same time,

Ning Fan and Yu Lin fully recovered since their bodies went through such tribulations their circulation speed and recovery speed also improved.

In the outer arena everyone positioned themselves into a defensive formation although they were doubtful. They had more than six-hundred people in total.

Besides Ning Fan, Yu Lin, Rury, and Old Tong, everyone at least had the cultivation Aperture realm, they were a third of them the rest were at the foundation realm besides the Patriarch's and Phoex. Feng Fai recovered somewhat from his injuries, but could still fight anyone below the Core Perception realm.

A second later they heard massive explosions consecutively. The people in the outer arena no longer doubted, they became solemn and tightened their formation. They started equipping all of their strongest treasure's and swallowing strength enhancing pellets, they prepared diligently for the incoming enemy.

After patiently waiting for half a minute a tornado appeared within the outer area of the arena.

The Patriarch for the Anomaly faction responded and countered the tornado with an abstruse law and dispersed the tornado before it could do much.

The next second the walls of the outer arena were sliced apart easily as butter by blades made by wind. The blades trajectory constantly changed the Anomaly Patriarch couldn't stop them all in time, they lost a hundred men, all in the Aperture realm. The others didn't stand idly by, this battle turned into long range warfare.

With the help of the Anomaly Patriarch, the other Patriarch's were free to attack, they started fiercely attacking causing the other party to shift to defense.

There was a loss of two-hundred in Ning Fan's team, after the counter Vara's team suffered the a hundred.

Since long range wasn't working she signaled everyone to charge.

"CHARGE!!!" Vara shouted.

Vera's force lost another hundred men before they clashed head on.

Vera was targeted by the four Patriarch's and Phoex. Vara didn't hold back either, she charged towards them and her Qi fluctuated rapidly.

The Anomaly Patriarch had a bad feeling so caused all air within the battlefield to pause for a short second.

Vara's attack greatly weakened as her attack was to exhort all the air around her to spin one revolution.

After her failed attack she was was on the defensive. The crew wasn't that well of either their casualty rate was far higher than Ning Fan's team.

The battle stayed favorably on their side until two minutes later.

A figure flew down with two-hundred and fifty men. Vara's reinforcements came.

"Captain you were too reckless, Captain after this I'm gonna make you restudy the art of war, and your gonna recite every tactic used to dominate the battlefield as well as learning all the Mathematics, Geographic mapping, and vice versa that goes with it." shouted the figure flying straight towards Vara.

"Seima you made it" Vara was full of contusions and blood oozing everywhere.

Vara looked was very beautiful with enticing curves but now she looked unrecognizable.

Seima was enraged he stared at the five people.

"I will kill all of you for harming my Vara." Seima shouted.

Vara smiled and winked at him. Seima is far stronger than Vara. Seima has a crush on Vara so seeing her full contusions filled him to rage with no end.

Everyone in Ning Fan's team paled. Seima condensed the gravitation pressure to the five perpetrators, Seima's law is condensation. He immediately condensed the air around them and released it causing a huge explosion. The five couldn't dodge and faced the full brunt of the attack.

The five were injured heavily but they managed to launch their full powered attack immediately after the explosion.

Seima coldly stared down, he lifted his hands toward the attacks. Seima condensed the air around him and exploded it outwards towards the five Core Perception realm cultivator's attack.

A huge explosion ensued soon after. A second later all the smoke was condensed the smoke. Seima was unharmed and three feet smaller. Seima condensed his own body. Condensing his own body wouldn't be enough to resist, Seima condensed several other laws into his body and forming the most tenacious body.

Everyone was awestruck, panic Rose in everyone's heart. Four factions didn't waste a second they immediately sprinted for it. Ning Fan and his group didn't loiter either, Ning Fan's group sprinted at three-thousand-five-hundred feet per second with the help of Rury's pellets and armor they wore, but their speed was insignificant to those at Aperture and Foundation realm.

Ning Fan's group used the four factions as cover and left the group on an intersection. Ning Fan's group hid in a building. Ning Fan couldn't save Old Tong, he died as soon as things turned bad.

A minute later a woman with a cloak appeared in the building. Ning Fan and his group exchanged glances with cloaked lady before she smirked and continued running forward and smashed the wall.

The next second five pirates at the third rite of Ming realm appeared.

Ning Fan's group cursed at the woman. Rury didn't recognize her, so Rury knew she wasn't part of the four factions if not she would be well known. Rury couldn't figure out her identity and focused on the five Ming realm pirates.

The five pirates didn't speak they immediately attacked on sight. Rury fought three of them while Ning and Yu Lin fought one.

With the boost from the pellets and equipment Ning Fan and Yu Lin were at a stalemate with the pirates. They didn't give the pirates any room to retreat and use their advantage against them, but they couldn't finish them off. Although Ning Fan and Yu Lin's weapons were lethal they couldn't land a single strike because they used their advantage to deviate the weapons trajectory.

Meanwhile Rury was disadvantaged she was backed into a corner and was defensive the whole time, although she has the advantage in skill, they have excellent team coordination skills.

After fighting for two minutes Ning Fan and Yu Lin managed to kill them. The enemy wasn't as well equipped as them, their foundation was also beyond normal so the enemies became prey.

Ning Fan and Yu Lin sprinted towards two of Rury's attackers and managed to behead them while being fully engaged with Rury.

After Ning Fan beheaded one of them, what he saw next enraged him and caused him to lose his sanity.
