Anarchist's Regime

In the year 2050, the Earth has been near decimated, from conflict between countries to squabbles within them. The population had reached exponential unprecedented heights, roughly twelve-billion lives. There simply weren't enough resources to go around and the government took action in an unspeakable way. Thinning the said population by means of nuclear fallout. The countries of the entire world's elected officials, and those "unelected" agreed the only option was ending billions of innocent lives. The few survivors lost total faith in any form of believed governmental structure, and the world fell into an every-man-for-himself existence. Those unlucky enough to be alive would do what they need in order to carry out the rest of a "life" in this hellscape.
