2 Tragic Fate

When the person looked at Mason the person stopped as if frozen in a still image. Faced with a ghoulish face plastered with despair it looked like a death mask worn. The person was shaken, in the person shock Mason awakened from this state with the ever looming dread encroaching over his mind like dark tendrils, it felt like as if a hunter is watching you but do not know when it will strike.

Overcome by the deathly premonition he pushed past the person failing to realise his boss was the person paralysed in fear ,He hurriedly exited the building in heavy and long strides as if escaping while at the same time acting like he was hiding from something .Mason exited the building and mused what was he trying to escape as his body involuntarily moved towards his bike. He tried to think of this situation logically but as if his higher functions were disabled by terror his thoughts were just as cloudy as the black sky over him.

Mason didn't notice it was raining until it was a heavy downpour, As he noticed he grinded to a halt as the bike skidded and stopped, his bike near the side and started to walk towards the under-crop of a tree for shelter. As he looked up to see the clouds a faint sapphire light coalesced into a single cloud above him, he wanted to move under the tree, He wanted to get away, whatever it was. Three strides remained and he would be in cover, he was so close yet so far away, as he tried to will his body it didn't move as if the world bared an innumerable burdens on him, He calmed to think,he could only think of how that light was glowing now ,He said in a raspy tone as if said from a dying man.

"How cliche to think what i just tried to understand will reap my life", While thinking out loud it was the only words spoken from Mason in months and probably if his boss didn't speak to him it would be the only words he heard in 2 months straight.

His body paralysed in this realisation,He mused that maybe the feeling was premonitions or maybe just gut feeling had some sort of truth in reality, maybe it wasn't just a feeling or chronic disease but it didn't matter now.

Boom

Thunder cracked down and oh it cracked like a whip as if it hunted him down like a beast with an open jaw over the prey tasting the fear, the energy came down and as it came down an in a zigzag of energy sparking around like a malevolent entity, sparking around as if choreographing a grim dance of death and destruction just for him, as the air sparkled with azure light making the air charged with static electricity ,its small dance was coming to its finally, lightning bolt fell down the middle of his being bisecting him completing the strike . A roaring scream so pained it rang out to the heavens as his body was engulfed in pain as his body died and nought but ash remained.

Many awoke from this scream and they looked outside and nothing was there, Rain washed away the ashes left and what remained of his memory now fell down the drainage valve and it disappeared.

The last memory was a was the death mask his boss saw which scarred him.A least he would not be forgotten by one soul.
