1 The Start

Normal day, taking my dogs for a walk with all my friends. We were having a hell of a time being teens and stuff. How the hell did it end up like this? I look to the city and I see a cloud of smoke coming out of it. I put my thumb up to the mushroom cloud, "WE NEED TO RUN!" My dogs are running with me by their leash, my house is a bit far from here but hopefully it's far enough to get away from the cloud. I'm lucky my house has a basement ironically, have to take a lot of food into it though. We get to my house, I look out the window seeing green gas covering the city spreading its way towards my neighborhood. "GRAB AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND HEAD TO THE BASEMENT!" It's kind of like a little house down there, with a kitchen and a bathroom, bedrooms and many things. My dad never put it up for rent though because he said it wasn't "Appropriate enough". When we got down there it was like a little underground house. I looked around to see how many people there were.

My parents, I don't know where they are, I know they were at a friend's house, hopefully they have a bunker as well. After I look around there are ten people including me, plus two dogs. My dogs are cowering in the corner mostly I think out of fear and because my mom isn't here. (They like her more than me). I'm glad I brought Joey's cage at least, it's tiny and portable, and they aren't big dogs made to attack. They're tiny little babies that I love. But back to the situation at hand, "Everyone take a shower!" I've heard that if there's a radioactive bomb, we need to take a shower and get rid of our clothes to get rid of the radiation that may have gotten to us. After we all take a shower, I take a headcount. "Alright people, I'm in charge here because this is my basement. If anyone wants to argue you can leave to go outside. Any questions?" Silence. "Good, so, who's here?" Jacob, Liam, Leah, Noah, Avery, Gabby, Deirdre, Camila, Elijah, and Me. Here's a little background info on everyone, Gabby, Deirdre, and me are close, they are also very close alone so they will stay together. Me and Camila are like sisters. Noah and Jacob also know each other well so they will stay together, Liam and Elijah are cousins they know each other the best, Leah knows Liam from school and knows Avery, they get along. I know everyone, but it comes together when I say that I've heard rumors that Jacob likes me, but we are childhood best friends. That can't happen, Liam has confessed to me, but we're just friends. Elijah has a crush on Camila, Noah is a mystery, and I used to have the biggest crush on him. I think after about 49 hours 99% of radiation is gone, but I'm going to make them wait More days than that because I don't know how it has affected the people. I am almost sure it was a radioactive bomb, I will make them wait 7 days. This is going to be a long week.
