68 Three's Dilemma

She asked me a question, but I'm not sure which day she was trying to imply. There were lots of days that had already passed, and most of the time I was serious in everything.

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, the day you told us that you came from another world."

Now that it came to this point, I felt like lying, but it wouldn't feel right if I said that everything wasn't true. Because lying might make a chain reaction, and she'll one day probably come to a moment where she'll start to have doubts about me, so I'll say the truth instead.

The truth is always safe, if not, then most of the time.

I took a deep breath before starting to speak.

"The cat's out of the bag, yeah. I'm from a different world."

"...Pervert."

What!?

I subconsciously took a step backwards from her sudden words, then she laughed.

"Think about it. You're already an adult yet you keep getting yourself hugged by all kinds of ladies. Isn't that cheating?"
