136 Pillar

---Murie's Perspective---

It was from before, on a one stormy night.

The crew which I was in was led by captain Roth.

I had a bad premonition that day.

There were six crows that flocked around the dock even when I didn't smell any signs of rot.

The weather was as clear as any other day could be, but even a few of the sailors that day felt that it was only the calm after the storm.

The air was dead, and we were forced to row quite for a while before the sails were starting to bloat from the wind, but it was already over three kilometers away from land before that happened.

We were supposed to go to some island that was discovered for a few years back to find rare materials or some kind of treasure that could probably sell for a lot.

"Murie! Hand me the lenses!"

"Aye!"

I brought the lenses that could see objects that are far away, but it would still be useless if there's a thick fog.
