The waves started to rise higher than usual.

The already few birds that flew over the sea had already disappeared without anyone's notice.

The skies that were once blue turned into shades of gray which made my heart skip a beat.

Between excitement and gloom, it's obvious that the one I felt was the feeling that's closer to fear.

Everyone was silent as we all watched the skies near the pillar.

Clouds were gathering in a circle with the pillar at the center, and a shadow formed in the center instead of light.

However it came to be was a mystery.

It then happened that the waves stopped as if everything was but a dream.

Seconds later, there was the sound of a droplet of water from somewhere.

All of us tried to look for the source of the sound as it echoed only once, yet no one saw any kind of ripple on the sea.
