1 Other World

Ron was thinking something while staring onto the yellow sky. Mihi sits beside him and asks, "What are you thinking Ron?"

Ron doesn't say anything for a while. But then he speaks aloud, "Mihi have you ever had any kind of thoughts about our world not being real but a simulation."

Mihi doesn't understand what he was talking about. But she doesn't bother as it was a habit of Ron talking about weird things. Also there is no need to understand everything.

Ron doesn't wait for Mihi's answer as he have a so called weird personality. He exhales deeply and says, "I don't know why. But I always had a thought that this world is nothing but a simulation. We have everything here. There is no limitations to our needs. We know about many things. But we also dont know about many things. Like we all know our names but we don't know where we've come from. We even don't know what is past this yellow sky."

Mihi inhales with her eyes closed and suddenly says, "You are such a dork Ron. There is no good being a dork. Let's enjoy our lives."

Ron doesn't anwer. He again starts thinking while staring onto the sky.

Captain Alex vance is standing infront of the Spaceship observatory. The outside is pitch black. Once he used to get creeps while staring onto that kind of black. He used to get goosebumps every time he looked through it. But nowadays he doesn't. Twenty years is a too long time to get scared. Nobody feels scared after travelling so far.

Suddenly high-tech humanoid robot named Nebula comes walking as slow as possible. His voice doesn't sound right. It feels feminine. It must be caused due to some sound card problem. But alex doesn't say anything about it. Nebula starts talking with his new familiar voice, " Captain Alex! May I have your attention please?"

"Yes, Nebula."

Nebula replies in a low voice, " Sir, You are aware of the fact that during the end of the world more than two thousand people boarded this spaceship in search of new suitable planet for human. After the launch of this ship, many of them couldn't survive due to their low immune and inexperience to space crafts. They all got affected by some new space disease.

This spaceship is going for twenty long years. Still we couldn't find any suitable planet. Now we have only five crew members left. Two of them are ill. There can't be no safety guarantee for these three crew members too.

Captain Alex vance stays silent for couple of seconds. Then he whispers to himself while biting his lips, "I know. I know Nebula."

Suddenly crew member Kurt comes rushing breaking their conversation. He says with a angry tone, "Captain Alex! When so many people died I didn't ask you a single thing cause I believed in you then. But now I have to ask you. We have only five crew members alive counting myself. But two of them are ill. What is the cause of this illness. Why there aren't any mediacal steps?"

Alex stays quite for some time and says," The reason for this illness is 'Space Virus X'. During our journey to the space, we couldn't think that viruses can evolve in this atmosphere. But they has."

Kurt smashes onto the vibranium table and says angrily, "It means we don't have any chance to survive?

Alex answers to kurt in a low but husky voice, "There may be no stopping to this virus. But we have something to live. But I don't know if this can be called living."

Kurt doesn't say a word but makes a questionable look in his face.

Alex again starts talking in a shaky voice, " Before the Earth's end, I collected every man's data and their neural scheme from our last computer "NPT". I built a machine after working days and nights in my chamber. The making is finally finished.

Nebula asked Alex in a curious tone, "What kind of machine captain?"

"A computer. I had been able to make a virtual world there where I'd been able to run those neural data as programmes. Do you know who was the first man living in there? My son Ron. I couldn't save him back then. But he will always live in my Simulation. Where he will live forever.

Everybody stays quite for sometime. Their question has been answered. They know their destination.

Ron is sitting at the same place he usually sits every day. He smiles seeing Mihi. But again becomes serious while doing his most favourite thing. Staring onto the yellow sky and thinking.

Suddenly something naughty comes across Mihi's mind. She slowly steps towards Ron and pushes him harder which made him fall. She then starts running as fast as she can. Ron gets abashed because of Mihi's sudden behaviour. But soon he starts running to catch her. His face Isn't serious anymore. He is laughing.
