“Tell you what. I’ll ask James out if you do the same with Pablo.”
Keenan scowled at Joshua. “Why can’t you do it first?”
“Because you and Pablo are obviously in love with each other. On the other hand, I have no idea if James is interested in me.”
“But—”
“Aren’t you worried someone at the bar will make the move on a man as gorgeous as Pablo? Then you’ll lose your chance.”
Keenan clenched his fists underneath the table as irrational jealousy and fury overwhelmed him. “No.”
Joshua burst out laughing. “You’re a lousy liar. I can practically smell your anger, man.”
Keenan grunted in irritation. “Josh, is there a particularly important reason for you to be here in my office?”
“Of course. I’m here to tease—”
“A professional reason.”
Joshua chuckled before getting up on his feet. “Nope. I’ll leave your office now. I know when I’m not wanted.”
Keenan felt a little remorseful now for snapping at Joshua. “Josh, I’m sorry.”
