2 Chapter 2 New Life in New World?

The old guy opened his eyes after he gained his conscience again. He saw everything unfamiliar yet familiar. The world he saw currently was seem to be the same as the previous one. But he still felt it was not the same. When he checked his body, he found he was just a little child in a light blue bassinet. He wore light-blue clothes and a necklace.

If this was not the dream. He might be a dead guy and reincarnate to this body. With the feeling he received from his hand and legs, he knew that this is rebirth. He has his hope to be a better man to protect his family while he has chances, and no need to feel sorry for his closely people again.

"I am John Sword, the descendant of Sword Family that exists since the first era of the history of humankind in the world called 'Marvelous'. (In my previous life, I was a military scientist working in the space station of the world called 'Earth', my beloved planet.) My family has Me named John, a father named Leo, a mother named Laura, and my sister named Jane. My family live as farmers but I don't think we are as simple as that. Now, I am training to be a magic sword warrior, the famous class of warrior in this world. Currently, I live in a small village called 'Green maple fields', located near the border town named 'Green Tower Town' of the Kingdom named 'Grand Roman' at the northeast of the Main Continent, the largest and most abundant continent of this world.

This world is the magic world that everything is based on mythology and fantasy tales of Earth, mixing between Eastern and Western fantasy. Fortunately, this world has many things in common such as language and measurement units. I feel it is good that this world uses the same measurement unit, the same basic technology, and the same basic tools in daily life. But I feel so bad that people here have to depend on magic power to survive. Without magic power, human will not exist anymore because of its extremely harsh conditions of living.

About the technology level on this world, without depending on magic power, I researched from all historical and social book in the library of my nearest town. The architect's level and the smithy knowledge are the same as the era between the Dark Age and the Medieval Era. The agriculture's level is the same as the Prehistory Era. Engineering is the word that not exist in this world. People just design and build a building by using materials, basic construction, and strengthening magic. For science and medical treatment, people can live in this poor condition because of the magic that can cure almost every disease while they live in the Great Empire that develops its power in magic to the pinnacle of this world. But for people in rural area, sickness is equals to death but they rarely get sick because of they have better physical health, better health from training and working hard.

In total of 12 Kingdoms and 2 Empire I known from the record in the town library, there are 30 races within this world, including humankind and Drafts. With the area around 750,000 Million square meters, calculated by using maps and records from the magic adventures, all of the land area is two-third of this world. After 10 years of documents research, I found that Marvelous has many characteristics same as Earth. The major differences between Marvelous and Earth are magic power, size, races, and geography.

As a descendant of Sword family, I have very strong magic power. My attributes of magic are Fire, Lightning, and Metal, the rare combination of magic. But no one known I have these attributes because I use only Fire magic which is one of the most common magic attributes of humankind.

Because of my skills as a skilled swordsman and my magic attribute, my family decided to spend all savings to send me to the most famous school in the kingdom called 'Royal Roma Residents' or 'RRR'. This school is located near the capital of the kingdom, one of historical locations found by my ancestors. It is the school all people in the Swords have to go if they have enough talents in swordplay. For my family, I have to make it worth. I will write all of my experiences and story about this journey in this notebook later."

After John wrote all he wants in his new notebook, he started packing his belongings. This is a long journey for him, at least 2 weeks by horse carrier. Although he will be far away from home but he did not worry or afraid because of his experiences from his past. He concerned about his family's safety more than his own, especially after he was famous in his town due to his skills and knowledge in farming.

After John became 6-year-old child, his father helped him to create and test many fertilizers for various vegetable plantation. Its outcome was so good and made his family became famous in his villages. Then his family was forced to stop helping people by using this knowledge, being suppressed by merchants and elites from royal families from the capital city. If not for the people sent by his father's employer, the powerful militants under the mysterious guy who his father serves from his childhood, that came after his family was bullied, his family might be destroyed while his father was on his mission. And 3 months after that, his father came back to his family, knew all what happened, went out for fighting and destroying for a month while his men guarded my family, and brought all the bodies back to bury in his vegetable fields. After his father came back from his slaughtering, no one come to his family and bully his sister and mother again.

Some guys working for my father said my father's employer sent out the order to stop bully my family while he told them who is my father but some elites from royal family didn't buy it. After my father showed himself at the royal palace with many heads of elites and royal linage who ordered to bully my family, the capital became in chaos because of the family exterminations by my father and no one in the capital want to find more troubles with my family anymore.

He did not know who his father work for but his father was a skilled swordsman. His father always out for his missions around 10 months per year. His father's employer always sent people to delivery items to his family while checking their safety in the same time. The people sent by his father's employer are powerful enough to make all young masters and villains in the nearby town be humble with his family. Even royal families from capital city stopped causing trouble for his family since then. And the only thing they said about his father are "Boss are the best magic swordsman they ever seen in their life" or "No one can win against Boss". He did not know what they mean but he also believes his father is one of the best skilled swordsmen in the kingdom. If not, why these strong guys work for him? And how can he eliminate all his enemy and protect his family like that?

And this is his reason for being the swordsman, to protect his future and his family with all his might and skills inherited from his father, his knowledge as scientists, and his connection he will gain in the future.

"Who are you?", asked by an adventurer equipped with silver pike and metal armor.

He was a spy sent by Serpent Warlord who interested in a daughter of this family. But before he can sneak in, he was caught and was terrified by a guy who came to find the head of this family.

"I am here under the command for this family." a muscular guy in the full shiny silver armor said with his powerful confident. "None of you trash can win against him. Get lost!!"

"They are our mission. What if we are not listen to you" Around ten people showed themselves from the dense of nearby trees. They also came here for this family as a part of their mission and now one of their mission's target was also here. No need to talk anymore.

"Kill!" a muscular guy roared. "All I need is kill!"
