8 Unknown Threats

In the CITI hospital, third floor, Shane was waiting in anticipation out in the corridor.

Edward, Luyisa and Charlie arrived. "Shane! What happen?! How is she?" Edward asked with much concern.

"She is still unconscious!" Shane answered.

In the meantime, the doctor came out of the checkup room and noticed the heavy atmosphere prevailing outside; He then walked to Shane and reported at once, "Patient condition is Stable."

Everyone relaxed a bit on hearing the doctor's words.

Yet, the chief doctor continued after a short pause, "The patient is affected by Neurocardiogenic Syncope. It is common and usually doesn't indicate a more serious underlying health condition; it happens due to severe emotional upsets or fear."

"Does the patient undergo any immense pressure recently?" he asked.

"Yes, Doctor!" Edward replied ruefully. Past few days was really chaotic in Symonds Residence, even Edward could not avoid worrying about Anna.

"I see! Hmm…*cough* Syncope is usually caused by a sudden drop in blood pressure or heart rate that causes decreased blood flow to the brain, causing a brief loss of consciousness. But the patient is still unconscious, Ahh… I believe the patient consumed or inhaled some rare stimulants, a kind of caffeine in excess!" he finished the sentence with more cautiousness.

Shane's eyes shrunk, "What? She was perfectly healthy and talking to me an hour before the incident. She was practically well by then!"

"Lulu!!!" Edward gritted his teeth and muttered under his breath. 'I never thought you would go this reckless.'

Edward turned to Luyisa to suggest, "Cousin! As you said, things are getting out of our hand, it's time to be proactive, I will secretly make arrangements to board Anna and Shane abroad with well-trained Bodyguards by tonight.

The sooner they get out of the country, the better they will be safe and sound."

"Hmm.... That would do!" Luyisa accepted with a serious expression, and then warned Shane, "Shane! Do take care of Anna and don't leave her unattended. I'll tighten the security and arrange some bodyguards to seal this floor. Your father and I need to make arrangements for your safe departure."

Edward felt even more assured by seeing Luyisa's protective nature, and then he turned to leave the place with less anguish.

Luyisa checked Anna through the glass peephole in the door for a while. She then passed a meaningful glance at Charlie, "Charlie! What do you think?"

"IT'S TIME!!! We should prepare for everything. Currently, what we can do is to delay their process, let's go." replied Charlie.

He then patted his son and left the hospital with Luyisa. Shane stood alone in the corridor waiting Anna to be shifted to the ward from ICU.

Once she was transferred to the ward, Shane opened the door and entered the silent room.

There lay a girl quietly like a White little orchid flower. The only movement in the room was her breathing.

He looked at the girl intensely for a long time without moving an inch, those calm and gentle touches in her face made him stand there like a statue. He didn't even know how long he stood there still.

'Is she the same girl that I have known for so long?' She looked more like a clear twinkling lake with no ripple.

He took a deep breath and walked near to her, he then leaned in and felt her forehead with his palms. She was not cold anymore; he pulled the blankets up and tucked her in.

With one more last look at her face, he moved away and stood in front of the floor to ceiling window.

He was now filled with agitation, who would want to hurt her? He could think of only one name at present, 'Lulu!'

'But if it is just 'Lulu', Mom and uncle would not be so troubled like this. There must be certain unknown threats which are targeting Anna but why?!'

Shane started analyzing the issue, 'So certain people are targeting Anna so badly but why would they? If it is just Aunt Lulu, our marriage is enough to shut her out.

Even uncle Edward wants to send Anna overseas as soon as possible. As per my knowledge, he always wanted to delay her marriage to have upper hand on her. But now, he let go of everything and also taking measures to send us overseas.'

'Is it have anything to do with the Symonds Corporation? Aunt Lulu will not touch the company, Will She? Then the only possibility is that there are some external factors that are holding threats to the company.

If that is the case, the only company that was targeting them at present is BMF Corporation. But why Anna? Anna! How did she get into this mess? What does she got to do with the company matters?'

A lightening stroked his mind awaking him, 'The WILL!!!' oh my God! What is there in the grandaunt's WILL? What does this mean? Symonds Corporation is in downhill for so many years.

Even Uncle Edward lost his upper hands and he is just a board member in his own company. Does the Corporation fate depend upon Anna and the WILL? That's why everyone is targeting her. Hmm… That makes sense.'

Though Shane resolved half the puzzle, he never knew all the secrets that his parents are holding from him. Shane still was in a darker side unknowing the magnitude Anna possed.

By the meantime.

At Symonds residence, Madam Lulu was sitting in a demonic maneuver with her hands clasped and eyes closed. All her efforts were wasted, now everyone will be in high alert.

This time, even Edward will not stand alongside her, she inhaled deeply. Now, she got no choice but to surrender, she took her phone and made a call. After a short pause, a voice came out of the phone, 'You failed, don't you?'

Lulu could not hide her helplessness, "Father! I tried!! I tried so hard but that cunning Fox was so scheming; I could not stand a chance. Now, Anna is in CITI hospital wing, can you do something? Since we can't use her, we can simply eliminate her!"

"Lulu, My girl! Wait patiently. We need her, don't we?

Also, there are so many people out there hunting for her. Once Anna is exposed that she was married, she will pay her price. Let us wait patiently for our turn, just don't provoke them as of now."
