"Anna!" Yelled Madam Lulu, "What takes you so much time to prepare breakfast. My poor little baby is hungry."

Lulu was combing the hair of her four years old little daughter and admiring her daughter's beauty in the mirror.

Christopher could not hold it in any more, "Mom! That's too much! Just now, she had her snacks and milk, how come she will be hungry?"

Christopher Symonds: Anna's Half brother who adored Anna a lot. Anna used to babysit Chris while his mother spent most of her time partying. He was 9 years old now and he cherished his sister's smile as a treasure. He would go to any extent to keep his sister happy.

Hearing the complaint of Chris, his mother thought that he was jealous over his little sister and said cautiously, "Oh my baby boy! Don't be jealous. I only asked it for you."

"I am not jealous!!! And I am also not hungry!! But sister…" before he could start arguing again, Anna curt in, "Breakfast is ready, Madam!"

Anna was never allowed to address Lulu as her mother or stepmother and every time Chris argued with his mother to protect her, it ended in a terrible situation for her.

Anna always kept reminding her lovable brother not to argue with his mother especially for the sake of her. Madam Lulu kept accusing Anna for wrecking the mother and son relationship.

When Chris was five years old, he tripped down the staircase and hit his head a little. By then, Lulu was pregnant, hence Edward put Anna in-charge of taking care of Christopher.

That day the whole house was chaos and even Edward yelled at Anna very harshly. Looking at his lovable and protecting sister's terrible state. Chris, even as a child decided that he should step in and protect his sister.

Anna shrunk herself in a corner of the house while her stepmother continuously landed a kick on her body everywhere. Chris pounced over and put a protective stance like a little tiger in front of Anna and warned his mother not to hit Anna, or else, he would roll down the stairs again.

"What took you so long? See! Chris started arguing with me again because of you." Madam Lulu yelled with all her might.

"Sorry madam! I was spreading new bed sheets for your bed. So I couldn't make the breakfast on time." Replied Anna nervously.

Lulu woke up late in the morning as she could not sleep at all, the previous night. She was devising new methods all the night to take back control of Anna from the hands of Luyisa. As all Lulu's former plot to keep Anna under her control was thrown to the bin because of Luyisa's interference.

I was not able to interfere with that little brat in any way. If not for my damn mother-in-law who made sure that Luyisa was the guardian of Anna, I would not be in this mess. Anna's education and college selection were all done by Luyisa. How annoying! My last wish of keeping Anna as a pawn in the name of marriage has also been spoiled.

As Lulu couldn't suppress her anger any longer, she shouted at Anna, "Get out of my sight!"

Looking at the retriving petite figure of Anna, Lulu slipped into deep pool of speculation, If it was not for Anna overhearing the conversation of the marriage proposal, or at least not spilling the words to Luyisa. By now, everything would be under my control.

But now, how can I explain all of this complete mess to that cunning, fatty and disgusting tobacco odor man, Huo. He was looking forward to the date of marriage, like a fox waiting for its prey.

But the most important question of all was, what that old lady, Anna's grandmother, Elizabeth Symonds has left hidden in her last breath WILL.

That old lady made sure that no one can read the Will until Anna attains 18 years. Now Anna is 18 but why are they delaying?

Lulu pestered Edward many a times about having a family gathering, but sly Luyisa was not giving them face.

As Lulu was immersed in the train of her thoughts, Chris snapped making Lulu revive from her thoughts, "Mother! Aren't you hungry? You were yelling for food a while before. Now, why are you daydreaming?

Hey mom! Don't tell me that you are in diet. You never have resistance for sister's meals, and always you do overeat in the end claiming that 'food should not be wasted'" Chris ended by mimicking his mother.

"You little brat!" before Lulu could continue, Chris snapped once more,"That's how you address your own son. I am disappointed, Mother! So disappointed!" he gave a mocking sad look.

"Who said that I like that shit made food? And how dare you mock at your mother!?" Lulu passed a glaring look at her son.

"Oh! Then why did you ask sister to make today's meal?" He crossed his hands.

Lulu was shocked, "Look at you! How dare you'll question your mother? You little brat! That little slut has taught you so well."

Chris was completely provoked by his mother's actions, and the sister-protective-little-tiger taking its stance for launching, "Mom! Don't be silly!

And why are you always so mean to sister and bullying her? She is working like a cow from 4 am till now without any break. Past two days you were torturing her like hell. Won't you show some mercy?"

It was so obvious to everyone that Lulu was so mad at Anna for disclosing the marriage proposal matters to Luyisa, she was making Anna's life a living hell for the past two days.
