6 An Intruder

She had no answer; she looked into the deep brown eyes which was ready to swallow her anytime. Not moving a muscle, Shane waited patiently taking in all the expression that was flashed in Anna's face.

Shane thought, 'Damn! It looks like he is in trouble… Those eyes what does it mean…'

Suddenly they heard a creaking sound. They both turned their heads to witness a young teenage boy climbing the window and then landed clumsily in front of them.

"George! What on earth are you doing here?" Anna exclaimed in shock while Shane stood puzzled by the new intruder.

George straightened his posture and moved quickly towards them, "To save you! I am your savior."

George: Anna's classmate and also a fond friend who accompanied her all the time. He had a chubby little cheek and an adorable boyish look.

"Hey man! Take your hands off of my girlfriend, how dare you try to steal my cute little naive bunny pumpkin away from me." George yelled. He shoved himself between the two lovey-dovey.

George had a secret crush for Anna and also he got Chris approval (A huge jackpot) but he had no idea that Anna was blindfold by her first love, Shane.

George thought to himself, 'Thank god! Chris called me on time or else, this pervert would have taken advantage of my little pie'. He stood in between them like a soldier ready for a battle and stared coldly at Shane.

"Girlfriend?" Shane frowned.

"Yes! My girlfriend", George 'boyish anger look' made him look like someone had stolen his favorite toy.

"George! You muddleheaded!!! What are you blabbering about? When did I become your girlfriend?" Anna was so angered and smacked his head pretty hard and eyed Shane, 'Ahh… why is this happening to me, what will he think of me?'

George's eyes popped out, "You hit me!!! Am I really your friend? I came all the way here to help you out but you smacked me right in front of that bumpkin?"

'Bumpkin? Is he referring to Shane, the heir of Torizo international corporation? Is he asking for his death?' Anna pulled his friend aside and whispered, "You idiot! Why are you destroying my life's happiest moment?"

George eyes turned watery, "What do you mean? You never liked me? Is there no room for me in your heart?"

Shane thought, 'what the heck!'

Shane could not take it any longer, he straightened and interrupted them, "OK! We are running out of time… hmm… Maybe, you two must settle things first, then we can… Ahhh… whatever! Never mind!

Anna! You just need a marriage certificate to end your miseries and I promise to give you one today."

He sighed and continued "Anna!! In return, I need your help which I will let you know later, this is not the right time to discuss."

"Today? You are getting married today? How can you do this to me? How can you betray me?" George gone on and on...

Anna was already in the state of bewilderment, she could not hear any of George blabbers.
