He used his teeth to bite her lips a little but not hard. She winced in pain and bit him back in anger!

The sudden pain caused him to stop kissing her and let go of her. He rubbed his lips and smiled mischievously.

"There you go!"

She was so stunned that she couldn't speak at that moment. Before she could lash out, Aaron got down from the car.

Rachel followed him while grinding her teeth in anger. Just as they stepped inside, Gina came running towards them.

"My son!"

They both stopped as they saw her. She directly went and hugged her son tightly. Aaron hugged her back cautiously. His mom was overreacting!

"I'm so proud of you, my son!"

She patted him hard and turned towards Rachel. She had a proud smile on her face.

This put Rachel in a dilemma. This wasn't what she expected. Why were they not following the script?!

"I'm glad you came! You look so beautiful, honey. "

Rachel tried to smile but it was too awkward for her.

"Thanks, auntie."

"Auntie? No, no, this will not do. Call me mom or mother-in-law!"

Rachel had not called Eric's mother as a mother-in-law! This word was too foreign for her!

Aaron was speechless! He spoke helplessly,

"Mom, stop giving her pressure, already!"

Gina glared at her son that said, mind-your-own-business!

She then turned to Rachel and blinked her eyes innocently, waiting for her answer. Rachel understood!

Gina clapped her hands excitedly when she heard Rachel. Then looking at her from top to bottom, she frowned.

"What's wrong with your dress?"

She was so busy admiring her that she had not noticed the dress.

Rachel froze when she heard this. Her blood started to boil again! Aaron saw her expression and understood her change of mood. He should put out the fire before it starts spreading!

"Mom, it's a long story. Why don't you take her out shopping, today? I won't be able to accompany her."

"Sure! Let's go shopping!"

She hooked her hand in Rachel's and started to pull her instead. Aaron was speechless again! She didn't ask him to come inside. What a mom!

But suddenly, he felt a tug at his sleeves. It was Rachel's hand.

She was looking like a kindergarten kid who's unwilling to go inside. Her eyes were pleading him not to leave her alone.

After all, it was a new place and new people! Because of this, she even forgot that she was angry with him a few minutes before. His heart melted at the sight. He wanted to hug her so badly!

"Mom, I will send her inside, you go in first."

He held her hand tightly. Gina giggled like a shy young girl.

"You guys, don't do anything inappropriate in front of the house. Servants are there. Come inside soon."

She walked inside after teasing them. Now the coupe was in an awkward situation. Rachel didn't know how to react to the comment.

Aaron cleared his throat in response. His mom had always overreacted for everything. But now, she was leveled-up!

"I'm going to the office. I have an important meeting today."

She looked dejected when she heard. But still, she nodded her head.

"Feel free at home. This is your home too."

She shot him a look and said,

"You said the same thing yesterday!"

Aaron chuckled and leaned forward a little to make eye-contact with her.

"Always remember, your home is wherever your husband is!"

Whenever she heard him say 'husband', she would feel a tug in her heart. Her mind would automatically picture Eric's face in front of her eyes. She felt as if Eric was standing in front of her, holding her hands. But when she blinked twice, she saw Aaron, smiling at her warmly.

She was so guilty that she wanted to die!

They were standing too close with a few inches apart. Her face burned as his breath fell on her. She pushed him with her hands. He laughed as he saw her embarrassment.

"Go out with mom, and buy whatever you want. I will see you in the evening."

She nodded without looking at him.

"Also, don't let Alan hug you, okay? Stay away from him."

Rachel was speechless! This guy!

"He's your brother! How can you speak like that!"

"He's a man after all! No men are allowed to hug you but of course, I am an exception!"

'Gosh! What a shameless bastard!'

"You go first!"

She pushed him! She couldn't handle his shamelessness at all!

Her face was downwards as she looked at the ground. She was embarrassed as everything was awkward to her.

"Rach,"

He called her name gently that almost melted her heart. She subconsciously looked up and saw his eyes.

They were so attractive that they would make one take a look at them again.

Aaron took a second and leaned further and pecked her on the lips.

"Bye wifey, take care."

He turned around and walked as fast as he could to the car, leaving the stunned Rachel behind.

Rachel came back to her senses and cursed herself for falling into his trap again-and-again! Just when she thought of him as a gentleman, he would show his true shamelessness!

She huffed in annoyance!
