1 Third Person's P.O.V.

Sitting on her bed while staring out of the window, Trixie sighed as she heard the laughter of the children outside. She envies them, their innocent smiles that could cheer up anyone who sees them and their hearty laughter that clears up the gloominess of the world. She looked at how the children run and looked at herself.

Sigh. She really should stop the comparing. That would only end up with her feeling depressed.

"That's it!" she exclaimed. "Maybe, just maybe, today will be fine?" she added hesitatingly. She shook her head and clenched her fists. She convinced herself, ''There's nothing wrong with trying, right?''

With firm determination, she marched towards the study. Upon arriving, she paused. She fixed herself up and nodded on the door. 'I can do it!' she thought.

"*knock* Dad, I want to ask you something," she quietly said.

"Come in," replied the person from inside the study.

Trixie slowly opened the door, went in, and closed it back.

"Uhm," she nervously started.

"What is it?" her dad, Christopher, said, encouraging Trixie to continue.

Trixie rearranged her thoughts and let out a small breath.

"I would like to go to the park." she nervously said while twiddling with her thumbs.

"Sure. Just bring a nurse with you and come back early." replied her dad bringing his attention back to his work.

"No. Not the park here. I meant the Central Park." she was clenching her hands as she uttered this reply.

Christopher paused and immediately said, "No."

"But, I really want to go. Just this once please?" she cried to her dad.

However, her dad just strongly countered her, "I said no!"

"Dad!" she shouted.

"No means no! Now go back to your room, Trixie!"

"Daddy", she muttered in a quiet voice, "just this once please? Please?" she sobbingly said in a hoarse voice.

Christopher's eyes immediately softened as he heard his daughter sobbing. He tried to recall the last time his daughter cried since after her toddler years and came up with nothing.

Trixie never cried, atleast not in front of anyone. She will only cry in her sleep, hating the fact that she was born with an illness. She can only look at her peers with envy in her eyes. She was not allowed to go outside. She can only move around in this huge house filled with body guards, maids, and nurses who always monitors her every action making sure that she does not do anything to further exhaust her body.

Christopher then tried to recall when was the last time his daughter requested anything from him. Just like before, he came up with nothing. His daughter Trixie never asked anything from him. Every holiday, birthdays, and Christmas she never asks for anything ang just receives whatever was given to her. He did not even know if his daughter ever liked anything. Her favourites, her likes, and dislikes, he never knew anything else about his daughter aside from her heart disease which caused him to treat her like a porcelain vase. After realizing this fact, Christopher slightly trembled. 'I'm such a bad father', he thought to himself.

He once again looked at his daughter and finally decided.

"Alright. You can go, however, you can only stay there for two hours at most. The weather's getting cold so make sure to wear warm clothes. Bring Edward and 3 other body guards with you along with 3 nurses."

Trixie looked at her dad with twinkling eyes and her lips forming a bright smile. She nodded enthusiastically to her dad.

"Thank you, daddy!" she beamed to her dad and kissed his cheeks.

'Although bringing the guards and nurses are annoying, as long as I can finally go outside, it's fine', she thought.

"Un. Go, go. Prep yourself up and tell Edward to come to my study." Christopher said while smiling with an indulgent face to Trixie.

"Alright!" Trixie replied and walked out from the study.

Christopher sighed as he watches his daughter excitedly walk out.

He waited for a minute and another knock sounded through the room.

"Come in." he said.

A buff man emerged from the door and immediately saluted to Christopher.

Christopher immediately said, "Edward, Trixie wants to go to Central Park. I told her to bring you along with 3 other bodyguards and 3 nurses. Pick them yourself and also, tell team 2 to follow you guys discreetly. Prepare all the necessary equipments in case of an emergency. Now, go. Trixie will soon be ready. Always be alert."

"Yes, boss!" replied Edward and then walked out of the room to perform his duties.

'I hope nothing goes wrong.' Christopher says to himself.

As Trixie went inside her room, she instantly went to her walk-in closet to dress herself up. She did not forget her dad's words and picked up a thick wool jacket to keep herself warm.

After prepping herself, she went downstairs and waited for Edward.

Very soon, Edward came.

"Young Miss, our preparations are ready, this way please." Edward guided Trixie to the car. He opened the door for her in the back seat and then went to the driver's seat as soon as Trixie got comfortable.

"What about the others?" Trixie asked.

"They will be following us in another car, Young Miss!" Edward replied.

Hearing the reply, Trixie just hummed.
