2 Chapter 2: Gloom

'Am I dreaming? Why am I? How could a...?'

I looked at her face. I was avoding to see her body. Her hair was a cross between white and blue. Her eyes glistened like the light created by a starry night. Her skin was as radiant as the sun.

Could this be a dream? All I know is that I was ready to take my life! Minutes passed and we just stared at each others faces. I don't know what to do and what to say. Letting this moment pass by can be such a waste. Leaning on to this chance might change everything. Everything seems like a trance.

A trance, stuttering both in speech and my mind, is happening right now. "Hello. You must be Hen, right? You are a prince of a far away land right?" The woman said with a bright smile in her face. "I'm your favorite star."

Lies. "Wait. This isn't real right? Why are you here? What are you doing here. I'm so freaking scared!"

'Just pretend, Hen. Just pretend!!!'

Fake. "You told me so much about your life." She sat down with me and embraced me. "I'm here to make you happy! I was saddened to hear that your lover left you. You were trying to kill yourself. I don't want you to die! You're the only thing that tells me his story!"

Ready for these lies? "Wait? What? Yes. I lost my princess because a menacing evil king stole her away from me!" Big fat lies, Hen.

"I never knew about that part. I can be your princess!"

Enticing. "I'm not really sure about that. I haven't known you yet. I never knew you can be like this. You know! I never knew that you can transform?"

"You almost talk to me all night. I bet you got so sad that I had no way to reply to you. Please, let me be your princess. With a horrendous number of stars in the univerese, no one could ever notice me except for you! You promised me the life of being a human! Now your wish came true!"

Doomed. I can't even feed myself three times a day. "I supposed I can explain everything can I?" I have to make things up!!!

"What is it?" She freed me from her embrace and looked at me in the eyes.

"Not only did he stole my princess. He also stole my treasures. I'm not the rich prince you know."

"That's not a problem," She said.

Okay. What now? She leaned her back on the wall as she sat. She closed her eyes and formed her hand into a cup. Light shone from her body. She was radiating. I covered my eyes and looked at her again when the light subsided.

My lies paid off, did it? Multitude of crystals? No diamonds! Formed into her hands and she laid it on the floor.

"I can get you lots of it. I just need some more time to form them within me."

"Amazing!" I looked at the diamonds and then at her face. I looked at sky and then to her face again. What the heck did just happened? I feel so dizzy. My head is spinning and everything went black.
