Myra's [P.O.V]

It took another ten minutes to reach my firm. Today is going to be a very hectic day. I have to prepare all my ideas and prepare them in the form of PPT so that we can show it to our brand new client.

I called Shaina, she is my secretary and a very dear friend of mine. We always chat about our lifestyles and we keep on updating about our lives to each other.

By calling her, she came rushing to my cabin "Everything alright?" She asked nervously. I giggled for a while but then I covered it with a stern face.

"It's nothing Shaina" I comfort her because she gets really nervous when I call her via office telephone otherwise I just call her from my cabin because her table is just outside my cabin.She got weird habits tho. Relief washed over her face.

"I just called you to know when is the client going to come"

"I don't know Myra, I'll call them and let you know, okay?" She assured me.

"Okay" I sat on my chair and when shaina turned around to leave my cabin I said, "Hey what is the name of the new client"

"Even I don't know, but according to boss it's Mr.Bhatt, so Mr Bhatt it is" she said and left the cabin quietly.

I was doing my work and doing my AutoCad of other projects. Suddenly Vivaan which happens to be my boss rushed to my cabin.

"Myra, Mr.Bhatt couldn't make it today due to personal reasons" I Ooed my mouth. Of course it was a bad thing because whole firm was waiting for as he is offering such a big contract to us.

"No problem" I smiled to my fullest and slightly feeling a bit angry on whomsoever that Mr. Bhatt is. First of all, does he knows something called professionalism and second of all because of him I couldn't drop my daughter to her school properly. I mean she needed proper instructions and all.

Though she is smart she still needed me and I'm kinda insecure if anything happens to her. Obviously my motherly instinct is saying that.

"Yeah" Vivaan said with a uncomfy smile.

"When is he going to come back" I asked him

"He will be here by day after Tomorrow" I noted down the date and saved it. "Okay than we will be ready for his welcome"

It was almost 2' o clock in the afternoon. Vivaan being always like a caring brother and a bestfriend asked me if I and shaina wanted to hangout in mall and eat something for lunch.

Being the hungry us. We immediately said yes and we are in the mall now.

We are heading towards Dominos and eat pizzas for our lunch. We reached there and Vivaan gave the orders along with my favorite choco lava cake which they have in their menu.

In front of Dominos there is this big boutique of amazing dresses. Sure they are amazing but I am way too hungry to get up and see the dresses.

But Shaina, insisted me very hard and I finally gave in.

I see Vivaan with pleading eyes but he raises his hands up and says, "Sorry buddy can't do anything". Before leaving I gave him the I'll kill you stare. What's the use of befriending him when he isn't helping me.

We are going towards the boutique but someone tapped on my shoulder and then I turned around and to my suprise It turns out to be. Mrs Seema, Advik's mumma.

I curse myself mentally for why did I get here in the first place itself.

She is a middle aged woman, with few strands of grey hairs. She is wearing crystal jewelries and that kinda scares me but she is the sweetest woman I've ever met. Only if her son would be 1% of her. It'd be great.

I smile uncomfortably and join my hands to make a gesture of namaste. Shaina sensed something was fishy so she said, "I'll leave you guys alone. Myra join me soon" she left with a grin and I nodded simultaneously. This would be hella awkward now. Wtf.

"Hi beta" she said with her confident tone.

"Hi mum-Aunty" I bit my inner cheek to punish myself for almost saying mummy.

She smiled slightly, "I still consider you my soon-to-be-daughter-in-law" I smile awkwardly at her. After not getting any response from myside she continued, "Come back Myra, Advik is terrible without you"

All my awkwardness gone when his name popped in the scene, "Absolutely not, Don't forget Aunty how he thrown me outside his life leaving me alone." She sensed my pain but blood relations are always at work so obviously she took his side, "I know beta, but what's wrong in giving a chance to him"

"It is absolutely wrong" I say it with disgust. I never want that man around me. I hate him with so much passion.

"Lemme tell him you are here, you guys can sort out your problems and get back together" she said simultaneously taking out her phone from her handbag. What? No.

I stop her. By keeping my hand on her searching hand, "No aunty, please. I don't want to get back to him. I'm better off without him" I say as a tear start rolling through my eyes.

"Ok beta, just don't cry. Stay happy always" she said wiping my tears. "Promise me aunty you won't tell him, that you met me"

She smiled sadly, "I promise you"

I left the mall and came back to firm. All my excitement to eat the delicious lunch was gone.
