2 Chapter 2: Unexpected welcome

''I want to ask you three things'',said Sia Loreins with no emotions on her face.

1.''Why does the system choose me?''

Originally, I am gonna ask 'why does the system save me ' but, it would be too polite for me to ask since I don't know the missions or quests I will be doing.

2.''What are the system functions including game-like screen?''

'Yes,this is the most important thing since I will be doing missions or quests.'

3.''How long do I have to clear missions''.

'This is the second impotant thing I want to know since there are systems with unlimited quests in novels. If it is like that, I would rather die since it will be so boring to do quests. It's not like I want to be constantly leveling up my abilites with like that system. After all, with that system, you will not even realized what your true effort is by the time later.'

When the guide-dog heard the questions he answered immediately.

''As for Your no.1 question, answer is limited. So I can only say a brief. Since you were born, you have never get treated as a human.Even if they treat you, you will be only an invisible doll in front of them.That's what make you extra of others not only in your society but also in your family.And, since you don't have any regrets even in your death, you can quite say that the system choose because of that.''

''What??'',Sia Loreins became dumfounded.

'' Furthermore, you are a unique one.You can die whenever you want and however you want,but you will never have any regrets even though you didn't act as the protagonist of your own life.That's why we can conclude that the system choose you because it want you to face the difficulties that you yourself must overcome to own your life.''

''To own my life, why now? '' she smirked.

''But it isn't too late'',the dog said.

Sia said by waving her hand.

'Actually, she wanted to own her life, too.'

'Of course, who wouldn't want to'.

''As for your No.2 question, the system will have three functions: Lucky Draw, Shop and Me.As host didn't have accomplished any missions, the lucky draw and shop cannot be used at the moment now.But you can use me for information as you like. As for the screen, you can think of it as your status description.

You can check whenever you like.''

''But, hey dog. How can you provide what information?''

Sia Loreins asked with curious look in her eyes.

''Host, I can repair your possessed body like minor illness or clean the impurities like poison in your host body and also I can check if the item is valuable or not.'' the dog replied.

''So, that means you can also differentiate between fake and real right???'', Sia asked.

''Yes, Host''

Sia Loreins thought the skills were small in number but if you use that well, you can easily avoid unnecessary problems.

'Well, that sound didn't bad'. she nodded.

''Wait!'' '' Change into some cute animal form before that and also your name will be 'Little Eva' ,Ok??''

''Yes, my host.''

The system host guide did as Sia Loreins wish and changed into a cute rabbit form.

'Well, now you're cute'

'' Then, as for your No.3 question, the answer is simple.You will have to do only 5 missions and you will have to finish them in one year.Each missions for 2 months and the last mission will be 4 months since it is final.The missions are transmigrating into the extras of the world,making independent on their own, not used by the others and search for your own happy ending.There may also be some side quests, sub-quests and hidden quests.You can accept or not with the side quests and hidden quests but you have to finish your main quest and sub-quest.

And, the missions levels are E, D, C, B, and the last one A. Shop will be open after you finished difficulty E and D and lucky draw will be after C.

''So, you mean that I have to finish the first mission during two months.But what will happen when I don't finish?'' asked Sia Loreins.

''We will deduct points you got from missions.But if you don't have any points, then your life span will be deducted by 5 years.Of course it is 5 years only for difficulty E.As the level of difficulty arises,the deduction points or life span will increase as well if you don't finish the mission.Even if you didn't finish the four missions,you have to finish final mission. If you don't, instant death will strike on host.''

'So, this is basically a life gamble.Well, ''What can i get from completing the missions'', asked Sia Loreins.

''You will be given 3 rewards after the finishing each of the mission.However, you can only choose 1 reward among three rewards and take it back to earth.The rewards will not be extraordinary and abnormal like immense strength or intelligent.You will only get rewards like your reading speed skill increase and Fighting and viligant skill increase'', cutie bunny said.

'Well, except for the fact that I have to gamble my life, it almost sound like a cheat system for teenagers like me.And, since it won't give big rewards, I felt happy on my mind rather than anger since I don't want to attract attention in my real life'

''Okay, so will the mission start now?'', she asked since she saw the screen saying 'Let's start the mission' before coming here.

''Host, that line is an error from a system since the system has been searching a long time for a suitable host.So the system got a little too excited.''

''Ow.. how pitiful'', she said with indifferent attitude.

''Host, you have been unconscious for ten days.And also the pain that you feel when you woke up is because the system sychronization with the host isn't been completed. But, it will be completed by the time you exit this space. I apologize since it was also a system error.For your missions, Host can start if you want now.But, since your soul will be transferred to other worlds to complete missions, your body in earth will be temporarily unconscious. So, I advise host to complete missions when you get out of the hospital since others will notice. And, also one thing that Host have to keep in mind is that one day in your real life is equal to 10 years in the worlds you will be transmigrated into. So, I also advise to do missions on school weekends or holidays.''

Despite the long explanation, Sia Loreins understand quickly.

''Okay, so have you finished now?''

''Yes, host. If you want to return now, you can close your eyes and say the word 'Leave' and will return to your body.''

Sia didn't dawdle too much time since she have to do many things.She closed her eyes and say the word. ''Leave''.

When she opened her eyes, she saw the hospital room in usual state and also checked her surrounding.

'Did no one visit?', she wondered.

When she looked the clock, she immediately understood. 'Ah, that must be why.'

The clock shows 8:05 a.m.

She remembered that she woke up at 8 a.m.

'So, that space is muat be considered as world.' she thought.

'Well, that doesn't matter to me anyway'

Now she woke up, she didn't feel any pain like the system said. 'Wait, could it be dream?'

[ It's not a dream , Host ], a screen appeared in front of her face.

''Yeah, yeah..'', she shrugged her shoulders and said.

She suddenly feel thirsty.When she looked at her surroundings, she found a small table beside her bed.She quickly take water bottle and glass from that table and started drinking water.

After drinking water, she waited for someone to come.

''8:30 9:00 ...10:00'' ''tick tock tick tock''

Even after waiting for 2 hours, no one came.

'Seriously, do they think that I am dead now.

Don't tell me that they are preparing for funeral or something.Well, whatever.. '. She shook her thoughts and got up from her bed since her stomach is growling from 9 a.m.

'I will die at this rate because of hunger'.

When she tried to pull the door , the door slided itself and she saw a maid from her house.She was happy and when she tried to request food...

''Ahhhhhh....''," the maid screamed and ''Ghost.....'' she said when she quickly get out of the room and ran away along the hall.She even screamed when she was running.

Sia Loreins left with dumfounded expression with that scream and touched her face.'Wait, did my face too scary? I know I haven't bathed and I would have disheveld appearance. But, was it to the point of face of ghost' she thought.

Then, she saw two men who came not long after the maid and the men met her eyes.Those men were carrying long box-like thing with one man from the front and one man from the back.

When she met the men eyes', the men didn't say anything. 'That must be it.The maid must be too suprised that I suddenly woke up.Well, the man didn't avoid my eyes.That means I didn't have any weir...'

''Ahhhhh...Ghost...'' the men screamed and ran away when she only tried to open her mouth.

''Wait, I didn't say anyth___'', Before she finished speaking, she saw the long-box thing that the men dropped in fear. When she saw that, she immediately understood everything.

''Ah..'' a smile flashed through her face.

'Yes, it makes sense now.It definitely make sense.Who wouldn't have thought if I was a ghost if they prepared such a thing.', She clenched her fist and smile to calm her anger.

''That damn intuition of mine'',

Yes, that's right, as her intuition says, she saw a coffin decorated with beautiful flowers in front of her.

As she stared at the coffin longer, her mind become blank and complexed. And at that moment,

''Tut..''

Her last string of conscience has snapped.

''Please let the ground swallowed me up and disappered, Or else I will have to let go of my string of sanity if I see that coffin again.''

Sia Loreins said with her wobbled legs heading to the room while holding onto the wall with her hand.
