1 Eleanor's Visit

The sound of elegant and rhythmic footsteps could be heard throughout the murky hallway of an underground dungeon. The source of the footsteps was a young woman. The woman looked to be in her early twenties, her red hair and eyes gleamed in the dimly lit hallway. Her beauty and radiance were noticeable even though she was wearing a large hooded robe, as if her noble aura could not be contained.

At the end of the hall, a thick iron door was visible, the door was guarded by two muscular men with horns on top of their heads.

"Hmm? Young Lady?" the guard on the right asked in a polite tone that did not fit his appearance.

The young woman looked at him with a soft smile and said, "Yes, I've come to visit Derygortheus. Could you please open the door?" her voice was angelic and even more polite than the guard's even though her status was obviously higher.

For a split second guilt could be seen in the guard's eyes but he kept his composure and returned to his expressionless self "Young miss. We can't let you pass, the number of times you're allowed to pass this week has been reached." Said the guard in a firm tone.

The young woman didn't say a word instead she gently touched the hilt of the sword that was on her waist with her slender white finger at that moment with an aghast expression the guard that had been silent the entire time spoke up.

"Wa-wait! I'll open the door now. Please calm down, young miss." cold sweat was dripping from his face as he spoke in a hoarse voice.

The young woman gave him a bright smile "Fufufu~ Barls, you know my temperament so well. Very good go ahead."

As soon as he heard those words, a chill went down his spine and he hurriedly began working on the mechanism to open the door.

"Oi! oi! what the hell are doing!? The lord said she mustn't go in more than three times a week!" the guard asked Barls while grabbing his shoulders. Barls looked at him and said in a bitter tone.

"I've been guarding this door for five years now and today is not the day to disobey the young miss's orders!"

'What the hell is he hinting at?' the guard turned to look at the woman she was standing quietly while waiting for Barls to open the door 'tsk whatever I'll just do as I'm told' with that thought he went and helped Barls with the door.

Creak—

The ear-piercing sound of the iron door grinding against the stone floor could be heard, many golden runes were seen on the door before they faded away, replaced by dark red characters overlapping the now dull golden runes, the red symbols gave off an ominous and dreadful aura that made hair stand on end before fading away.

Without saying another word, she walked through the door with pure grace in every footstep.

—Wooong~Wooong~

"Warping really is an unpleasant feeling..." she muttered to herself while taking deep breaths to shake off the nauseating effects of the warp gate.

After regaining her composure she looked around her surroundings "It's as peaceful as ever, huh."

In this space as far as the eye could see were green blades of grass and blood-red flowers brimming with vitality and herbivorous animals leisurely roaming around the fields, the sky was blue and the sun was shining brightly as if kissing her skin, truly a scene from a fairy tale.

"Right." she removed the thick robe she was wearing which revealed the thin white sundress underneath and rapier on her waist, she then removed her shoes and let the grass and dirt hug her feet, she continued to place the robe and shoes in front of the red-gold warp gate.

She stretched her arms out "That sickly bastard. Did he have to build his cabin at the edge of the subspace?" with those words, her figure disappeared as if she became one with the wind. No, it wasn't that she disappeared the next second. Her silhouette was visible about 500 meters from the warp gate, dashing at a speed that far surpassed human limits.

Her hair was moving wildly in the wind as she skillfully dodged rocks, maneuvered around trees, or simply just cut down thick trees brimming with life as if cutting through butter with a hot knife, animals unfortunate enough to be in her path were sliced in perfect halves in a flash.

'How do you still have so much divine power Deor...? Just yesterday I cut down a clean path, yet both animals and plants have revived. No...' she looked around. And the dead trees and animal corpses from yesterday's visit were still visible.

"ahh! it's been five minutes, halfway there let's pick up the pace shall we." her eyes started to glow purple and her body started to emit a visible purple aura, purple veins were also growing more and more visible around her body especially around her slim muscles.

"『Profane Maidens Demonic Body』."

—BOOM!

The surrounding earth exploded from the sudden increase in the sinister demonic energy and the pressure that came with it, with every step of her insanely fast and powerful run trees went flying, and craters were formed she then used earth attribute mana to harden the ground a few meters in front of her.

Once she reached the area with the hardened earth, she gathered her demonic energy to her legs, making the purple veins around her legs looked like they were about to burst, and then she released it all.

—BOOM!!

The sound barrier was broken and, like an explosion, she launched herself straight about twenty meters from the ground. In less than a minute she crashed through a cabin and didn't stop for 6 kilometers before smashing into an invisible wall, causing a deafening explosion.

A man crawled out of the ruins of the recently destroyed wooden cabin he wasn't wearing anything to cover his bare sickly chest, he had pale skin and his hair was an unhealthy pink color as if it was about to fall out but his eyes were a deep red color and full of life.

He looked in the direction the women crashed "ELI!!!! what the fuck are did you do to my house!!" his voice was laden with rage, he looked around to see that the direction the women came from was filled with carnage and destruction, tears were forming at the edges of his eyes.

Laying on the ground next to the edge was Eleanor. Her sundress was undamaged, except for the dirt on it. She stretched her arm in front of her face and spread her fingers as if blocking the sun.

"Fufufu~ it's your fault for building your house so far from the entrance."
